Let’s be honest—we love the idea of being in charge of our own lives. We don’t like being told what to do. We want to believe we’re the boss. The author. The ruler of our own little kingdom. We don’t like limits. We definitely don’t like being told we have a master, that someone or something else controls us. But here’s the truth that no one wants to admit: Self-rule is a facade. It’s an illusion dressed up to look like freedom. You’re not as independent as you think you are. You are not spiritually neutral. You are not spiritually free. We’re all serving something, or someone. The world tells us: “Be true to yourself.” “Follow your heart.” “You do you.” But Scripture says something else entirely. It says your heart isn’t free, it’s bound. It says you’re not the master—you’re the servant. It says every soul has an owner. Every life is shaped by a master. So, the question isn’t, “Am I free?” The question is, “Whose voice am I loyal to?” Who really owns me? And there are only two options. Sin will master you—or Christ will. One pays in death. The other gives life.
The text for these messages come from Rev. 12:11 because it teaches us how we overcome the wrong things in our lives. There is peace in His blood as we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb.
We round out the Greatest Commandment in this sermon by looking at how to love God with all our strength or might. That is how God would have us become physically better and healthier people. For the Jewish people, loving God with all your might included all the resources God had entrusted to them, which makes this a matter of stewardship--of our bodies, our time, our talents, and our financial resources.

Pastor Greg continues our sermon series, "Follow," through the Gospel of John by going through the narrative of Jesus' cleansing and purifying the temple--His Father's House-- from sin and distractions, and how that's still his desire for the church today.

Pastor Greg continues our sermon series and finishes up the book of Ezra, reminding us that God often uses His word and His presence to bring conviction of sin for the purpose of drawing us back to Him with repentant hearts so that He can revive us and lead us into lives of Holiness and obedience.
Pastor Blair continues our sermon series, Revive, and teaches on being ready, repentant, and aware of the very real and expected oppositions that will come our way as the Lord seeks to revive us as the church.

Jesus set the example of how to live. He had every right to be arrogant and self-righteous, but he demonstrated for us the proper attitudes of humility, service, obedience and sacrifice.

Truth Stands, lies have to continuously be propped up. People come to church but don't always come to Jesus. NEWSFLASH: The Devil is a jerk but he's not stupid! Church is not your Burger King. It is God's way, not your way. The devil will attack in all aspects of life(Wife, kids, work, home, finances) but we have VICTORY in Jesus every time. We have to get past the theys and thems so we can get to Jesus.

We can draw examples of Jesus' cleansing the Temple for we are the Temple of God. Jesus suffered the Cross that we might "house" the Triune God, His Son, and Power of the Holy Ghost!

When the world tells us that our identity comes from what we do, where we come from, and what we can achieve, we turn to the scriptures to see how Paul helps redefine our source of identity. Pastor Michael Petrila finished our series on Identity. After weeks of finding out where identity came from and how it was disrupted, we landed on finding out "where we find true identity now." Evening Teaching. This is the first lesson in a series.
Have you ever wondered what is meant by "it's on my heart" or "God said to me"? Do some of us have the ability to speak directly to God while others don't? This week is Part 1 of the message God Prompts, hearing from God. We can all hear from God, in fact, God desires our attention and wants to commune personally with all of us. Listen in to this weeks message to practice the presence.

We are continuing today our series on Honor. Now what we are looking at today could have been three sermons. That sounds kind of scary. There are three different issues, three complete messages, but I am going to present them as one. Let’s see if it works. So here we go, if you want life to work, honor the Lord with your body.
