Two of the best water-quality sites along the James River are in Henrico County, according to new data from the James River Association's annual water quality monitoring program, the James River Watch. The program provides real-time data on the water quality at 38 different sites across the watershed collected by volunteers and through partnerships with Rivanna Conservation Alliance, American Water, Virginia State University, and Appomattox River Company. Because the staff is paid by the number of rooms they clean (not by the time spent in them), cleanliness is a problem in hotel rooms. The dirtiest places in the room include the bedspread, the phone ☎, the TV remote, and the hotel glasses. On the other hand, the bathroom is the cleanest.
