#Canon #Apple #Razr Another Day, Another Vlog! 545 Canon R3 launch has not disappointed generating a Buzz unlike anything else for a while since the R5! The sound of the 30 fps firing on @gordanlaings you tube review was very cool and crazy to think so man RAW files could be firing off ! 4k 60fps is obviously good and also in RAW 10 bit internal is very good. The 4K is 120fps and downsampled form the 6K so very good yet again. For a sports journalists photo camera the video specs are pretty crazy and probably more realistic then the R5. The new Techno Hot Shoe offers advantages as well but the acc are all delayed till November. Strange decisions on this are 1- sd & cf express cards. Other is micro HDMI port, it's a big body and built for pros why not a pro HDMI port ? My last gripe I guess is Canon constantly saying its weather sealing is “as good as the 1DXm3” . If you go to the 1DX models none of them have an IP rating. So exactly what is it ok to do with this camera that won't void wty ? How does a newcomer know the limits. Razer had a new release of their, products and games last night. The stand out was the new Basilisk mouse $69 usd $100 aud roughly. 10 +1 infinite adjustable buttons, allow you to map your mouse to your exacting needs. The other new feature was the Optical laser switch system. Negating the mechanical switch and the inherent problems like lag and bounce to give 100% accurate contact. Their new world wide headquarters in Singapore is a great choice as its an amazing city and others benefits of the western world mixed with asian culture. Im sure will being a gaming mecca! Apple

#Canon #Apple #Techtember #JoeRogan Another day , Another Pod! Episode 540 Canon Rumours reports Amazon jumped the gun on posting the soon-to-be-announced Canon EF 16mm f/2.8 STM. A reader also was able to purchase one of the lenses before Amazon caught on and remove the listing ! The lens looks to be scheduled to ship on October 14, 2021. With a price tag of only $410 aud this lens will sell like hot cakes i think. Not having IS won't affect it's sales as long as its sharp and can focus quickly will be a fantastic travel lens. The size is crazy small looking at roughly same dimensions as the 50mm already on sale. Well done Canon finally some friendly lenses for us rookies ! With the Release event locked in now for the 14/9 at 1800 AEST the R3 specs look to be all but finalised and now just need full confirmation at the show. All thats left is the price the 1DXM3 is still $6500 usd so cant be the same as that as Canon have constantly said its not their flagship the 1Dx is! so expect around the $5500usd($7500 aud) for the new boy in town. Probably biggest issue is securing one i think as these are gong to sell super fast! Francisco García José Benito cuenta en un podcast que él se compró una de las primeras canon 1Dx y que lleva millones de fotos sin cambiar obturador. También comentaba que cree que al ser una de las primeras unidades fabricadas se usaba para test y tenían controles de calidad especiales. En el curso de iluminacion de exteriores recomendabais iluminar con el flash alcanzando la misma exposicion q el fondo en e s iluminar con el flash alcanzando la misma exposicion q el fondo en el caso de los contraluces, para no reventar el fondo. Sin embargo en este podcast habeis hablado de q el fondo tenga mas luz que el sujeto para separarlo de el. Supongo que como Pere dice, ira a gustos o de si queremos q el fondo aparezca o no. Tambien he visto q muchos fotografos subexponen el fondo para luego ilumonar con flash al sujeto a la exposicion que han determinado. Me gustaria profundizarais un poco en este asunto, en las diferencias de exposicion entre sujeto y fondo, y hasta cuantos pasos de diferencia exponiendo o subexponiendo podemos alcanzar. The huge news this week centers around Canon releasing not one not two but four new DSLR’s and an Ultra WIDE zoom pro lens.  Does this put Canon back in the game or were they ever really out of it?   I personally don’t think Canon was anywhere near out of the game.  They have the 5D Mark III along with the 1D X as well as a lot of adapted professional lenses.  This is what happens in the photo world, Nikon has something new for a while then Canon has something new so on and so forth.  So one or the other is always on top for a period of time.    As a little side note, at the time of recording we did not have all the official specs.  But I chose to discuss the camera after my inside source was able to verify the validity of information that was out there as fact.     I tried something new for Flying Solo where I put up a video on Facebook asking for your flying solo questions.  It looked like it worked because over 200 questions came in which is more than double what we usually get.  I chose 30 of the questions to feature on the show and moved at a pretty brisk pace to make sure I got to them all.    This weeks show was sponsored by RODE Microphone.  As you know we use the RODE broadcaster Mics both in the loft and on the road.  They sound fantastic and I think we have one of the best sounding Podcasts around because of them.  Remember if you don’t check out RODE’s site this week our friend Scott over there’s son may grow up to have blonde hair!!!!     FroKnowsPhoto, Canon 5DS, Canon 5DS R, Canon 11-24, RAWtalk, Photography News, Photo News, Photography, Nikon, DSLR
