Vw Arteon Shotting Brake 2.0 Tsi 190cv. Gracias de antemano, un saludo desde León. In a recent episode of our podcast, “On the Brink with Andi Simon,” I had the pleasure of speaking with Laura Grondin, an exceptional leader in the world of business and innovation. Laura is the CEO, chairman, and owner of a privately held industrial products company with two subsidiaries: Bingham & Taylor and Hartford Technologies. These companies supply diverse products, primarily to the water, gas, and automotive markets. Our conversation was all about how she has been able to navigate tradition and innovation. Visiting Laura's website is a journey into the heart of an enterprise that brilliantly merges tradition with forward-thinking innovation. Her companies, with a rich history spanning 175 years, epitomize the power of adapting to change while holding onto core values. This blend of the old and the new is not just a business strategy; it's a philosophy that permeates every aspect of their operations. How to Navigate Tradition and Innovation in Sustaining a Business? Laura's leadership showcases the essence of what it means to be an innovative, future-thinking leader. She understands the dynamics of organizations that thrive. Her ability to innovate and see the world as it evolves is extraordinary. This perspective is crucial, especially in an era where the future is uncertain, and many are apprehensive about what lies ahead. Laura shows us how you can navigate tradition and innovation, and build a better business. As Babe Ruth once said, "Yesterday's homerun will not win tomorrow's game." This quote perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Laura's approach: you can be good today, but thriving tomorrow requires a whole new set of skills and vision. By 2005, Bingham & Taylor had already made significant strides towards gender diversity, becoming a 51% female-owned company. In 2021, Laura Grondin took over 100% ownership, ushering in a new era for women-owned natural gas and water businesses. V Technologies is a testament to the power of merging deep industry knowledge with modern innovation. It's fascinating to see how Laura's leadership has transformed these companies, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in traditionally male-dominated industries. Laura's influence extends beyond her business ventures. She is a prominent figure in the sailing community, serving as a member of the US Sailing Board of Directors and holding various positions, including chair of the international Melges 24 Class Association. Her passion for sailing has twice seen her compete at high levels, earning her nominations for the prestigious Rolex Yachtsman of the Year award. Laura's involvement in sailing reflects her competitive spirit and commitment to excellence, qualities that she brings to her business endeavors. Moreover, Laura tremendously advocates for women in business, particularly in STEM fields. Her involvement with organizations like C200, which supports female CEOs, underscores her dedication to empowering the next generation of women leaders. Through her work, Laura is paving the way for women in STEM and business, breaking down barriers and inspiring others to follow in her footsteps. How can "Sailing" Build a Mind-Set that Works So Well in Business? Let's think of the metaphor: we should all be trying to navigate tradition and innovation in our business. From my perspective, as a corporate anthropologist who works with organizations that need to adapt to fast-changing times, I was thrilled to share Laura's story. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of adaptability and forward-thinking in today's business landscape. Her ability to blend tradition with innovation sets her apart as a leader who respects the past and embraces the future with open arms. In our podcast, Laura shared insights into how her companies are innovating and creating new ways of doing things. This spirit of innovation is evident in every aspect of their operations, from product development to customer engagement. It's clear that under Laura's leadership, Bingham & Taylor and Hartford Technologies are not just keeping up with the times; they are setting the pace. The Power of Women Leaders as Successful CEOs Laura's journey is a testament to the power of women leaders in driving change and innovation. Her achievements inspire aspiring female CEOs, demonstrating that with vision, dedication, and a willingness to embrace change, it's possible to lead and succeed in any industry. Laura's story is not just about her achievements; it's about the broader impact of women leaders in transforming industries and driving progress. I encourage you to visit her website to learn more about her companies and their groundbreaking work. Laura Grondin's journey is a shining example of visionary CEOs shaping the future, one innovative step at a time. You can also watch our podcast on YouTube

Nickel briefly popped through $22,000 (10/lb) and remains in the upper end of $20,000-$22,000 where it has been sitting for the last 6 weeks. LME inventories remain low at 37-38,000 tonnes. Sulphate prices are flat and sitting at a similar discount as last week. In contrast, ore prices and NPI prices ticked higher in China – haven't seen a rebound in stainless prices yet. May be driven by rumours that China SRB is stockpiling some nickel. The big news of the week:Saudi Arabia is investing $US3.4 billion for a 10% stake in Brazil's Vale base metals business – good to see the Middle East $$ in the sector.Australia going to include nickel in the critical minerals list.Potential for Russian nickel to be subject to sanctions in UK/Europe in the upcoming year – think a lot of people choosing not to use it, but if implemented, a little more challenging given that nearly ½ of Russian nickel used to end up in Europe.Magna Metals PEA on Crean Hill/Denison project picked up earlier in the year from Sibanye – unfortunately share price was off by about 15% (but had popped up 10% in the week before). Metrics on IRR and NPV are both good at $C200 million and 22% IRR with a 15-year mine life mining 1.5-2 Mtpa of ore for a few years with an open pit and then 1.25 Mtpa underground operation with roughly 10ktpa of nickel production. However, the market reacted negatively for a couple of reasons with capital cost being the primary one:- Total of CAD$129 million including $48 million of “advanced exploration” costs, $24 million in open pit costs, and $57 million in underground capital. Think the market was expecting was going to be open pit restart and then underground so was a little surprised at the total amount.- They had some pretty splashy high-grade intervals but the life of mine grades are 0.6% nickel, 0.6% copper and over 1g/t PGMs so some investors were probably expecting some more grades to pop out.- The third reason was valuation – at $0.75/share has a market cap of $120 million versus the value for the project at $C200 million (and they also have Shakespeare) – which is a pretty healthy P/NAV in the industry sector that is struggling.A good example of challenges with high grade – can be narrower, less continuous = more drilling capital, particularly if has to be done underground.Widgie Nickel had nice step-out results and infill drilling100-metre step out Eastern Limb MEDD069 29.0m @ 1.66% Ni from 79m Incl. 5.0m @ 3.23% Ni from 88m. According to a report by Yale University, a person's hair and hairstyle impact not only our self-image but also the impression of others about us. Throughout the decades, society and media have inculcated the image of "perfect hair" as free-flowing, shiny, and tangle-free. However, this is definitely a false presentation of the realities of hair. The American Hair Research Society explains that an array of hair disorders and issues plague the nation, including hair loss (such as autoimmune alopecia areata and stress-derived telogen effluvium) and hair shaft defects (fragile hair, frizziness, coarseness, split ends). We are joined today by JuE Wong, the CEO and President of OLAPLEX since 2020, a global senior executive, and a transformative beauty industry leader. Born and raised in Singapore, JuE received her BA in International Economics and Political Science from The Australian National University in 1987 with an exchange scholarship at UCLA. Throughout the years, she has then progressed to be the revolutionary Global Director and President of brands such as Elizabeth Arden, Moroccanoil, Obagi, StriVectin, Astral Brands, Murad, Perricone MD, ZO Skin Health, and PepsiCo. With all her experience, she also serves as the Board Member for companies like the American Heart Association, YMCA of Greater New York, Committee of 200 (C200), and Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW). She has been recently listed on Forbes 5o Over 50 and has been awarded the Gold Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year, the Beauty Independent Beacon Award for Brand Builder of the Year, and the Innocos Leader of Change.Livestream Air Date: August 4, 2022JuE Wong: IG @juewong888 & OLAPLEXFriends of Franz: IG @friendsoffranzpod & FB @friendsoffranzpodChristian Franz (Host): IG @chrsfranz & YT Christian FranzThankful to the season's brand partners: Clove, BETR Remedies, Eko, Lumify, RescueMD, Medical School for Kids, Your Skincare Expert, Twrl Milk Tea

Driving Mercedes-Benz fifth generation C-Class C300 sedan today – $15,100dearer to the old series at $90,400 but this is a totally new car with new high-grade underpinnings and technology that really sets it apart. Built for our marketin South Africa it sits on a 25mm longer wheelbase, offers more rear knee andshoulder room in a body that now features the previously optional AMG lineexterior and interior package and it's all class. A large floating infotainmentscreen set low is a real high point. Over the entry C200 the C300 offers a larger2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder engine with mild hybrid technology linked to a nine-speed automatic plus a stack more driver assist technology. Five different drivemodes, a fully adaptive suspension on 19-inch alloys with 35-series tyres thatprovide a somewhat taut yet acceptable ride. Two disappointments, the lack of aspare wheel of any sort, with our current potholed roads always a concern whileroad noise on some course surfaces can get a little raucous. Mercedes-Benzmake the point the C300 is skewed for refined comfort over sports performance, and it fits this bill admirably. Yes, it now costs significantly more but newtechnology takes it to a new level. Economy; 7.5L/100. Warranty: five-years/unlimited km. One Mercedes-Benz that's had extraordinary success in this country is the C-Class sedan. Arriving this year in its fifth generation the C-Class has achievedover 10.5 million sales globally. Some years back it was one of our top sellingsedans although today the appeal of SUV's has dampened its sales. Pricing toohas jumped considerably not helped by rising material costs and transportationlogistics. The entry C200 rose $12,000 or 18 percent to $78,900, I'm behind thewheel of the C300 today – now 20 percent dearer at $90,400. However, this latestC-Class has all-new underpinnings linked to the S-Class flagship, a huge amountof new technology with a new generation mild hybrid four-cylinder drive- trainand a more accommodating interior. Visually, it exudes class, now on a 25mmlonger wheelbase with a wider track with more elbow room. The C300 now with a2.0-litre turbo with mild-hybrid technology adding an extra 15kW and 200Nm oftorque, the twin scroll turbo adding 20kW of over boost linked to a nine-speedautomatic. The new dash and controls are a highlight, especially the 11.9-inchinfotainment touchscreen, set low and very user friendly. Yes, the new C-Classmay be much dearer, but this is a totally different car to its predecessor. Drivedetails next segment. I'm David Berthon.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Released in the fall of 2020, Canon's C70 starts a new lineage in the RF lineup, now with cinema ready capabilities. At first glance, it almost looks like a beefier 1DX. And, in many ways, it is. But, it simultaneously melds their XC series, with the EOS R, along with cues from the C200 and C300 Cine cameras. https://photographypx.com/canon-eos-c70-review/ Video https://youtu.be/7eVh8nHRky4
