Nothing in life worth anything is easy… Especially Pregnancy. The Boys hit Week 32 and Week 35 and the daughters are right around the corner. It’s hard being a parent but it’s harder to teach life lessons to children. Also Patrick’s bag is packed but Joe still has some time. This trimester is so slow!

Want to join our 4-week Zoom Bible Study, "Are we living in the end times?" (https://info.thecrossingchurch.com/zoom-online-bible-studies) . We start Friday April 3 from 12:00-12:30 with a 15-minute Q&A afterward. Also Patrick and his wife Emily (who happens to be an interior designer) put together blog here (https://www.thecrossingchurch.com/stories/how-to-work-from-home-effectively/) . ---- "God cares a lot about our work. And how we do our work is really important to him. So when we're talking about working from home, we're not talking about something that is peripheral to our Christian faith." As many are finding out, working from home is still work! It has its own set of challenges. In fact, maybe you can't wait to get out of the house and back into the office. When you're working from home, it can be more difficult to find the motivation. Or maybe you have the opposite problem and don't know when to take a break. And then there are so many other demands and distractions vying for your attention. Keith (https://www.thecrossingchurch.com/staff/keith-simon/) . Interested in more content like this? In our first podcast of 2019 we debut our first annual San Diego Padres Power Rankings. And I know what you're thinking, and it's not a power rankings of Padres players. It is a rankings list of the most generic, uninteresting, irrelevant franchises in sports today named after the most iconic generic, uninteresting, irrelevant franchise in sports history. It's a whole lot of fun. We also touch on the NFL playoffs and dive into MLB's disturbing salary situation. Also Patrick spilled a beer and it wasn't very fun for him.
This week: our boy Josh heads backward AND forward in time, to the bottom of the ocean and all the way to India, in a time travel adventure romance called The Lovers. The movie isn’t good, but hey, at least Josh met his now-wife Tamsin Egerton on set. Big P and the Brothers T also discuss which Powerpuff Girl each of us corresponds to, our upcoming boxing fight against the Paul brothers, Matt’s failed trip to India, and whether Jimmy Stewart sounds like a chicken. Also Patrick brings up Hawkman a lot.
