Mike Piazza never won an MVP finishing second twice. Dylan Cease got the big bucks for seven years while Sonny Gray got $41M for one year. Pitchers get paid in different ways but long term deals have been  harder to get for pitchers.  Now Framber Valdez is smiling. Nine managers were selected to replace ones not coming back. Warren Schaeffer the latest as he signed on with the #Rockies. Good luck.  We talked about the others who'd already taken the job. And then there's the #Mets. The Jets traded for Davante Adams yesterday and now Mike Williams is on the trading block. How much will Adams help the team? He and Rodgers definitely have chemistry together. Getting Adams shows Rodgers has a lot of control no matter what he says. He wants Saleh gone, he's gone. He wants Davante Adams, he's here. Hopefully Garret Wilson will embrace this. The Bills went out and got their own new WR in Amari Cooper. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Aaron Judge hitting a HR to center. The Yankees had a couple of base running errors which prompted John Sterling to say of the Yankees, they ‘run the bases like drunks'. Judge thought the ghosts of Monument Park pulled his HR out there. Jerry has audio of BT, who ‘hates' the Jets. He also called them, ‘ass backwards'.
