On the side, Swardson also signed as one of the regulars on the popular Comedy Central series "Reno 911!" where he played Terry Bernardino. In 2007, Swardson recorded and issued his first comedy concert album, "Party." The following year, he teamed up for an onscreen role opposite Sandler in the farce "You Don't Mess with the Zohan."Most recently, Swardson has appeared in the TV series "Star Butterfly" and "Typical Rick" and in the features films "Sandy Wexler" and "The Do-Over"

Well, this year’s Oscars were a shit show and we’re here to talk about it with you all. We’re also going to provide our own picks for who we believe should have won Best Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor, and Supporting Actress out of the films released from January 2020 through February 2021. It includes some of the actual winners (Daniel Kayluua) and nominees (Maria Bakalova), along with some snubs (Delroy Lindo) and others never in serious consideration (Ben Affleck).Other topics this week include our thoughts on a slew of new trailers, including the latest from Pixar and Steven Spielberg, the wild concept of Christopher Nolan working with Netflix, and whether The Falcon and the Winter Solider was worth the investment in time or not.Coming Attractions: Before we kick things off, here’s a quick preview of what exactly we’ll be discussing during this week’s Academy Awards themed Feature Presentation. (00:00)Opening Credits: This week on Live Breathe Film with Corey, Doug, JP, and Murph… (01:45)News: Topics include Leo remaking Mads Mikkelsen’s Another Round, Mads Mikkelsen joining Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones 5, and our first looks at The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, West Side Story, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. I... I don't really know how to feel. For the second week in a row, the Cinemaniacs are doing an ADAM SANDLER FILM!!! It's bizarre and strange but here we are. This week, it's Sandy Wexler. We hope you enjoy this week's episode, we promise next time, we won't do an Adam film. Well, Aiden promises, as Lewis LOVES to say: "Put him on blast CinemaNation, put him on blast!" --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Your back? Again? For another weekly dose of Lewis and Aiden? On a Wednesday? You really have nothing else to do? Wow. I guess if you really are that desperate for some entertainment. Go ahead. Click the play button and say farewell to all your troubles for approximately two minutes, give or take.
The GOS duo is on their way to the city of lights, baby! Sandy Wexler is the topic of discussion for this week's episode. This is the first film in Sandler's catalog that is based on a "real" person, wow! The celebrity cameos keep rolling, Rob Schneider is still a piece of human garbage, and we dig a bit deeper in to the simulation theory. Are these different sentient androids? Is it Terry Crews or Ted Cruz? Is there a direct correlation to how bad the film is versus how intoxicated the hosts are? All this and more inside! Welcome to The B-Side! Introducing Soundtrack City's little sister side show where we discuss various movie and music-related topics. :) For our *DEBUT EPISODE*, we are discussing the magic of one Adam "The Sandman" Sandler -- or Mr. Sandlerman as we've dubbed him today. From movies like Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, to the more recent (and possibly underrated) films such as Sandy Wexler, Blended, and Murder Mystery, we barely scratch the surface as we gush all about our faves from his filmography. Check out our Instagram @heysoundtrackcity and tell us what YOUR top Adam Sandler films are!
Welcome to the Billy Gilmore Podcast - an Adam Sandler appreciation show. We're back with another episode, this time the 2017 Netflix flick, SANDY WEXLER. This one takes us back to the '90s where Sandman stars as a talent manager with a less-than-stellar roster until he meets a new client, the wonderful Jennifer Hudson. Featuring special guest Bryan Connolly.
This week, Luke and Luke are digging into Adam Sandler's Sandy Wexler, a Netflix Original movie about a talent manager in 1990s Hollywood. Will Sandy's quest for finding a star lead him into the fabled halls of The Sandler Castle, or will he flop and fall into The Sandler Pit? Follow us on our socials and get in touch! Some of the many Film and TV projects Lisa London has cast over her 25-plus year career, alongside her casting partner Catherine Stroud, include Hannah Montana, Grandma’s Boy, The House Bunny, Suite Life of Zak and Cody, Sandy Wexler, The Poison Rose, Freaks, and upcoming films to be released in 2020, Switched, Eat Wheaties, and Through The Glass Darkly. She is a member of The Casting Society of America. Lisa shares advice for actors on auditions, how to succeed in the industry, how to get on the radar of a casting director even if you don’t yet have an agent, and much more. She is a passionate advocate for actors, and the dedication comes through in this very generous interview. Some of my favorite quotes from our conversation: “Part of what we look for as casting directors is not only your talent, but your personality.” “I don’t ever tell actors, or their parents, ‘you have to move here right away.’ Work in your local market and gain some credits there.” “When you come into a casting room, be a PERSON. I’m looking for the whole package.” “Do your homework. The more you know, the better you do.” “Part of the reason actors don’t get callbacks is they don’t take direction.” “You have to make a choice. But you can’t get so stuck in your choice that you can’t change.” “I think Improv is super important. It’s a great training ground for all actors.” “My job is the find the talent for film and TV shows, and to facilitate the producer/director’s vision.” “We see potential in actors. And we have to sometimes convince other people of that potential.” “For every no, there’s a yes.” “I put Jennifer Aniston in her first movie, Leprochaun… we cast Yara Shahidi in her first series.” “Do you know how many times we’ve met somebody and said, ‘They’re not exactly right for this, but we’re going to put them in a different part, or a different project’?” The fun of casting for me, is I get to meet you, see your personality, work with you, and direct you.” “Create! Make stuff! Do stuff! You have to stay proactive.” Don’t coach your kids.” “If this is your dream and your passion, you have to persist… no matter what happens, you can’t give up. That door is going to open for you.” Follow Lisa London here: Website: http://londonstroudcasting.com/ Instagram: @LisaLondonCasting Twitter: @LLondonCasting Facebook: @London/StroudCasting Buy her book here: From Start to Stardom The Backstage Article Lisa wrote and referenced: 4 Reasons You Didn’t Get a Callback There is so much you can do to prepare for a successful acting career right where you are today. You can see the trailer here.
Well, what can we say that hasn't already been said about this film? Not much, but we're not exactly sure what has been said about it. Regardless, listen to us rant and rave about raccoon beetroot mince, rich men on their deathbed pulling the finger at their horny wives, the Hollywood sign going up in flames from a Nick Swardson stunt gone wrong and many many more random bits and bobs from a genre-less mess of a 2 hour and 10 minute Netflix exclusive. Enjoy

Pauly Shore tasted super-stardom in 1990 when his precedent-setting MTV show "Totally Pauly" hit the airwaves to major fan approval. Film også nævnt i denne episode: CRIMINAL, THE VOID, THE ASSIGNMENT, THE FINAL GIRLS, KONG: SKULL ISLAND, GOLD, BLEED FOR THIS, SANDY WEXLER, SAN ANDREAS, SMALL CRIMES, GHOST IN THE SHELL, MINDHORN, THE INVITATION, THE CONJURING 2, BOUND TO VENGEANCE, PREVENGE, INSIDIOUS 3, BROADCHURCH s3, I AM YOUR FATHER, ZODIAC, HACKSAW RIDGE, HALLOW POINT, SLEEP THIGHT, MERCY, INFERNO, THERE WAS A LITTLE GIRL (aka MADHOUSE), ALWAYS SHINE, PET, OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY, MASTERMINDS, HERE ALONE, FROM A HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET, DARLING, SAM WAS HERE, SOUTH BOUND, SPLIT, DON'T HANG UP, THEY LOOK LIKE PEOPLE, A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE, DON'T KNOCK TWICE...og mange flere!!
As a linebacker from Flint Michigan, Terry Crews was picked by the LA Rams in the 11th round of the 1991 NFL Draft. In 1996, he played his last season ever for the Eagles. Then, he took up acting - he starred alongside Ice Cube in the Friday After Next, played Chris Rock's Dad on Everybody Hates Chris. Now he plays Sergeant Jeffords on FOX's Brooklyn Nine Nine. Now, his latest role is in Sandy Wexler. It's the new Adam Sandler comedy on Netflix. He talks with Jesse about the film, his time in the NFL and how he overcame a devastating addiction to pornography. Then, Jesse talks with the fascinating Amber Tamblyn. She's an actress and a published poet. In her latest film, Paint It Black, she's making her debut as a writer and director. The movie explores the aftermath of death from a really compelling and human perspective. This week's Outshot? Gap Band IV. The Sixth album by the Gap Band. Wall to wall bangers, we swear.
From "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" to James Bond's vivacious "Solitaire," there's no stopping Jane Seymour. The Hollywood legend is back on screen, this time taking on a "cougar" role. And she looks back on her amazing career with incredible inside stories about her roles TV watchers and movie goers will never forget. Like what we're doing?
