Over 6 million Americans filed for unemployment last week and apparently every one of them watched Tiger King. Host Mike Pecci was in that group (maybe not the part about Tiger King) and helps breakdown the process of signing up for unemployment in California. We also cover recipes we tried out this week, a number of helpful resources for creatives, and the importance of staying physically fit. We’re in this for what seems to be a long haul, folks. We’ll make it. It’s just going to take some time & discipline. Stay safe. Stay creative. Mike Pecci's IG: instagram.com/mikepecci Liam D. He’s an after effects wizard that specializes in, but not limited to,animating hand lettered pieces. He’s wildly popular on Instagram, his pieces are almost magical in the way the smoothly move around the screen.
A year before he went freelance, Austin started blogging. Not only did it give him a space to document and reflect on his progress, but it brought him connections that referred him for work. Since then expanding his network through conferences has done the same. He continues to think big, experiment, grow and develop his business chops. His passion for hand lettering animation has brought him a new audience with which to share his expertise and hopefully to whom he can launch a course... but first... work. Lots of it.
