Gedaliah wanted peace for the people and constantly negotiated for their welfare peacefully submitting to Babylon. In this second dose of What the Actual Eff for the week, we take a dive into a case of a missing girl from New Jersey. A car is found abandoned on a bridge, which would lead to a missing persons case, followed closely by a murder case motivated by money. This is the Betrayal of Sarah Stern.
Throughout church history, many unbelievers have looked at the arrest of Jesus, his subsequent crucifixion, and concluded that Jesus' attempt to usher in the kingdom failed miserably. But nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus was not caught off guard in the least. In fact, everything is going according to plan, so that Jesus can achieve the greatest victory in the history of mankind-the salvation of God's elect. Upon closer examination, the betrayal of Judas, the protection of the disciples, the healing of Malkus, and even Jesus'-arrest actually illustrate the sovereignty of God.
The plot to kill Jesus is well under way... Stu & Robby are in Luke 22: 1-13, talking about the betrayal of Jesus by one of his own disciples, Judas Iscariot, and the lead-up to his arrest.

I think we can all think of a time that we have been betrayed. Betrayal stings and it really messes with our minds. It makes it hard for us to trust again once it's taken place. We talk about how Judas betrayed Jesus and how He continued walking in His calling despite how much that betrayal may have stung Him.In life people hurt us and we hurt them but we have to forgive like Jesus and move forward, not allowing it to paralyze us from doing what we are called to do. Is there someone you have betrayed? It's time to make it right! Is there someone who betrayed you? It's time to heal and let it go!
