This episode André celebrates the holiday season by talking with one of the most unique artists in the industry and someone our host is a huge fan of Marco Rudy! Originally from Mozambique, Marco Rudy moved to Brazil and broke into comics by networking through his Deviant Art page. He eventually collaborated with Howard Wong & Jim Valentino on Image Comics After The Cape. From there he did some ink work for BOOM! on the covers of Zombie Tales and Cthulhu Tales. He eventually landed at DC with Final Crisis: Escape & Final Crisis: Resist, and later on working on other DC titles such as Action Comics, The Shield, Superboy, Supergirl, and Superman/Batman. Marco was one of the two main artists on the New 52 series Swamp Thing with Yanick Paquette and Scott Snyder. In October 2013, Marco was the artist behind Marvel Knights: Spider-Man, in which Spidey faces-off against 99 of his Spider-foes. He's recently had gigs on a few other Marvel books, including Uncanny X-Men and New Avengers Annual, as the titular artist for Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier, contributed to several other Marvel books, with single issues and covers. Currently Marco is working on a creator-owned project RDW!

We here at Force Fed Sci-Fi wanted to do another bonus release on a few things Marvel and its Cinematic Universe by talking about Marvel movie box office totals and statistics, giving you a list of Marvel Studios movies in the MCU and a Marvel Cinematic Universe villains list ... just as a review and for your information :) , talking about the Spider-Man: Far From Home cast, our rating of the film, mid-credits scene, post-credits scene, and asking what does the future of Marvel movies after Endgame look like? List of Marvel Studios Movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Over 11 years now (and still more to come), the Marvel Cinematic Universe now includes 23 films as of the posting of this page. Simply listed they are: Iron Man (2008) The Incredible Hulk (2008) Iron Man 2 (2010) Thor (2011) Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) Marvel's The Avengers (2012) Iron Man 3 (2013) Thor: The Dark World (2013) Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) Ant-Man (2015) Captain America: Civil War (2016) Doctor Strange (2016) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) Thor: Ragnorak (2017) Black Panther (2018) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) Ant-Man & The Wasp (2018) Captain Marvel (2019) Avengers: Endgame (2019) Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) Marvel Cinematic Universe Villains List Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane / Iron Monger (in Iron Man) Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky / Abomination (in The Incredible Hulk) Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko / Whiplash (in Iron Man 2) Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer (in Iron Man 2) Tom Hiddleston as Loki (in Thor and Marvel's The Avengers) Colm Feore as Laufey, King of the Frost Giants (in Thor) Hugo Weaving as Johann Schmidt / Red Skull (in Captain America: The First Avenger) Toby Jones as Arnim Zola (in Captain America: The First Avenger) Also appears as an artificial intelligence computer in Captain America: The Winter Soldier briefly Guy Pearce as Aldrich Killian (in Iron Man 3) Ben Kingsley as (the fake) Mandarin (in Iron Man 3) His character's real name in the film is Trevor Slattery Christopher Eccleston as Malekith, Ruler of the Dark Elves (in Thor: The Dark World) Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier (in Captain America: The Winter Soldier) Of course we all know once Bucky is not under mind control, he is not a villain anymore Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce (in Captain America: The Winter Soldier) Fun Fact, he actually does not become a villain in the Marvel Comics Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow / Crossbones (in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War) Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, a Kree Commander (in Guardians of the Galaxy) James Spader as Ultron (in Avengers: Age of Ultron) Corey Stoll as Darren Cross / Yellowjacket (in Ant-Man) Daniel Bruhl as Helmut Zemo (in Captain America: Civil War) His role as a villain is minor in the film, as he is just there to manipulate the Avengers to fight against themselves Benedict Cumberbatch (uncredited) as Dormammu (in Doctor Strange) Yes folks, the hero played the voice of the villain behind it all in the film (they probably didn't want to credit him so the audience wouldn't be confused? What are your thoughts?) Mads Mikkelsen as Kaecillius (in Doctor Strange) Kurt Russell as Ego (in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes / Vulture (in Spider-Man: Homecoming) Cate Blanchett as Hela (in Thor: Ragnorak) Michael B. **A Batman by Any Other Name** This week we take a look at the newly released pictures of Jay Garrick – the latest addition to the upcoming second season of The Flash, John Constantine appearing in the Arrow TV series, Marvel’s “ressurection” of Devil Dinosaur and a whole lot of tangents. Our featured comics and manga are The Red Skull, Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier, The Flash, Your Lie in April volume 2 and Saga volume 4.

This week the gang discuss Wonder Woman’s new costume, the movie adaptation of John Layman and Rob Gullory’s weird and wonderful Chew, the new Hawkgirl TV series and DC’s confirmation of a relationship that everyone already knew about. Our featured comics are Squadron Sinister, Chrononauts, Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier, Secret Six, The Cat with the Really Big Head by Roman Dirge, Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars, The Last Days of Magneto, and look back at Captain America’s notorious transformation into a werewolf.

Graphic Novice attempts to connect with a new demographic this episode, and as a result, our explicit rating gets a bit more explicit than usual. The big comic news of the day is DC raising the price of individual Batman issues to $4.99 during the upcoming Endgame arc. We spend a considerable amount of time talking about comic pricing, and a little bit of time discussing Wolverine's pre-mature death in Nightcrawler #7. In "Rapid-Fire Review" we look at Crossed Badlands #62, Batman Eternal #26, Detective Comics #35, Gotham Academy #1, Grayson #3, Cutter #1, Nailbiter #6, Peter Panzerfaust #21, Protectors Inc. #9, Alex + Ada #9, The Fade Out #2, Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier #1, Captain America #25, Death of Wolverine #3 (of 4), Moon Knight #8, Silver Surfer #6, Thor #1, Uncanny Avengers #25, X-Men #20, Sally of the Wasteland #3, and Armor Hunters Aftermath #1. After choosing our best and worst books of the week, Doc explains why he is abandoning the Plus/Minus system he proposed a few episodes back. We wrap things up with a quick look at the books we'll be checking out after their October 8, 2014 release date. A certain guest editor put this episode together after a night of drinking, so if it sounds a bit off, dont worry, we think our regular editor, VF, will take the reigns back after he hears it. Thanks for listening!
