Rocci Stucci and Tim (TK) Klund officially kicked off Battle Scars Podcast at The Country Network in Fort Worth, TX. Their first guest was B. Taylor Ambassador. You can catch the episode HERE:Going into the second episode, we're honored to sit down with WWII Iwo Jima Veteran Don Graves. Saturday, March 4th at 6PM CST.For most it's an iconic moment captured in a timeless photo and placed in just about every U.S. history book in existence: that moment a group of United States Marines planted the American Flag on the peak of Iwo Jima during World War II.It's an image of patriotism for most, but for Don Graves it's a memory that still lives as clearly in his mind as it did the day after he stood just feet away from that flag being planted in the rocks.“That was my Colonel's flag,” said Graves who was 19 when he and his unit fought in that infamous battle. “He gave it to Lt. Schrier and said, ‘put this up Harold. Get some boys together, and put it up for me.'”Graves, who's now in his 90's, said gunfire was raining down on him and his fellow marines as they took in the sight of that flag being planted on the Japanese island; a battle that ended up being a major step in victory during the war.https://battlescarspodcast.comhttps://butverve.comhttps://romikadesigns.com

The Bad Batch is officially a show about parenting and we're okay with that. In “Decommissioned” and “Battle Scars” (The Bad Batch Season 1, Episodes 6–7) we get the good, the bad, and the unintentional, as far as parenting goes. Good: Hunter rescuing Omega from a lava-fired slag pit in a droid decommissioning factory. Bad: Wrecker's inhibitor chip finally snapping him into an Order 66-fueled fugue state. Unintentional: RAFA MARTEZ showing up having become a much better influence on her lil sister, Trace…all thanks to Ahsoka being herself in Season 7 of The Clone Wars. We also talk about bow and arrow safety, what Rex is up to, and the increasingly narrow line between droids and clones. Join us next week to recap “Reunion” and “Bounty Lost” (The Bad Batch Season 1, Episodes 8–9). --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/growingupskywalker/message

This monster can be a prejudice, fear, insecurity, trauma and so on. We believe that romance novels are as much about one's personal journey as they are about finding love. After all, love makes us vulnerable and forces us to bare our monsters to another.

They discuss the '85 Super Bowl season, Keith's experience with Mike Ditka as head coach, and what he currently likes to do in his day-to-day lifestyle. Keith Van Horne was selected 11th overall in the 1981 Draft by the Chicago Bears. In his 13 NFL seasons, Van Horne played 186 games and started 169 of them. We're back after a short break, and what a pair of episodes to return to! Season 1, Episodes 6 & 7 are two of our absolute favorites, and both feature more familiar faces! In "Decommissioned," the Batch try and recover the head of a Tactical Droid for one of Cid's mysterious buyers, only to be confronted by Rafa and Trace Martez (who first appear in "The Clone Wars" season 7). Then in "Battle Scars," the group are reunited with Captain Rex! He informs them that their inhibitor chips are ticking time bombs and they need to remove them fast. This episode also (intentionally or unintentionally) pays homage to a number of classic horror movie tropes. It's a wild (and kind of scary) ride!
