That topic is Wills and estate planning - yes, quite a different topic for us on the pod which is fabulous! Anna Hacker is the National Manager of Estate Planning for Australian Unity. She holds a law degree and has considerable experience in the field of elder law, estate planning and succession law. Anna currently manages one of Australia's largest estate planning departments and also assists high net worth clients fulfil their estateplanning objectives - so she certainly knows her stuff! Anna is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and Business Professional Women,prior President of the Probus Women's Housing committee which provides low costhousing to independent, elderly women.Anna also hosts the popular podcast “What Happens When I Die?” which explores the legal outcomes of dying. Joanne grew up in Brooklyn and New Jersey. Right out of high school she began training as an X-Ray technician and spent years working in hospitals and private practices. About 20 years ago she moved to Wayne County and began working at Bold Gold Media. At first she was doing a little filing and answering phones one day a week, but that quickly blossomed into a full-bore Office Manager job, and she's been a vital team member ever since. Joanne is instrumental in organizing the annual Shower for Charity and also happens to cook an unbelievable Sauerbraten. Adam has noticed Joanne drinking the same thing every morning for a long time, and suggests an unusual twist on her favorite hot drink.

Resumes are all about selling you and most people get them wrong. Did you know you need more than one resume? Did you know how resumes have changed and what you are probably doing wrong on yours that may be blocking you from getting that dream job? What about that interview? Want to know how to nail it? I haven't written a resume in over 15 years. Owning my own business all I need is a bio nowadays and even that I learned, after talking to my guest, can use an update. But how do you choose what goes in?  How do you unlock the words to the skills you truly have versus those you think you have? How do you make a gap in work or several jobs with short term employment not become a red flag to a potential employer? Listen as I question Lhea Scotto-Laub who has written over 14,000 resumes, cover letters, bios and personal statements. My eyes were opened! Lhea Scotto-Laub is the president and owner of Quantum Business Group, Inc. in Massapequa, New York, a recruitment firm, professional résumé writing service and interview coaching firm. Lhea has composed more than fourteen-thousand résumés, bios, cover letters and personal statements. Additionally, she has placed over one- thousand candidates in her career. In the volunteer arena, Lhea is the Past President of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women, a thirty year premier women’s networking organization. She has chaired several committees and co-established the Speed Networking event. Additionally, Lhea served as a board member of the Long Island Women’s Business Council for several years and was a former board member of the US Women’s Chamber of Commerce, where she contributed to the launch of the first Diversity Awards on Long Island in 2004.
