Start Using the Film Room Today! Garret Price and Andrew Mott played Keep Trade Cut with players at similar ADP levels, revealing their strategies for navigating the dynasty trade market. The duo debated quarterbacks Bo Nix, Trevor Lawrence, and Brock Purdy, with Andrew keeping Nix for his rushing upside while Garret stuck with Purdy's consistency. The running back debates featured Ashton Jeanty, Omarion Hampton, and TreVeyon Henderson, with both hosts high on Jeanty despite his difficult rookie situation. Andrew emphasized Jeanty's elite underlying metrics, noting he had the most stuffed runs in the NFL behind one of the worst offensive lines. At wide receiver, Ladd McConkey emerged as the consensus keep over Brian Thomas Jr. and Marvin Harrison Jr., with Mike McDaniel's arrival in Los Angeles boosting confidence in the Chargers offense. The tight end discussion centered on Harold Fannin Jr., Tucker Kraft, and Sam LaPorta, with situational concerns dominating the conversation. The hosts wrapped up with younger running backs, debating Kyle Monangai, Woody Marks, and Bhayshul Tuten, highlighting how Houston's running back market could impact dynasty values. The Dynasty Nerds crew is back with their monthly Risers and Fallers episode, and the conversation got heated. Rich Dotson, Garret Price, and Jagger May debated which players are climbing the dynasty rankings and which ones are plummeting after the AFC and NFC Championship games. Trevor Lawrence topped the risers list as the unanimous number one. With Liam Coen's offense and a loaded receiving corps, Rich declared him an elite dynasty asset at just 26 years old. Jaxson Dart landed at number two, with John Harbaugh bringing stability to the Giants and Malik Nabers returning from injury. Colston Loveland rounded out the top three, cementing himself as a top five tight end after his playoff breakout. On the falling side, CJ Stroud was the unanimous number one faller. Rich went on a legendary rant, calling him overvalued for years and predicting he could slide even further when the elite 2027 quarterback class arrives. JJ McCarthy and Zach Charbonnet also took hits, with McCarthy facing competition rumors and Charbonnet dealing with a devastating ACL injury. Explore more tools and resources to stay ahead of your league.
The Draft Nerds crew just wrapped their most anticipated 2026 NFL Draft mock yet, and the results are in. Garret Price, Jared Wackerly, Jagger May, and Andrew Mott battled through two full rounds in a superflex tight end premium format, revealing their top targets and biggest sleepers. Jeremiyah Love went first overall, with the crew unanimously praising his elite receiving skills and comparing him to Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs. Fernando Mendoza followed at 1.02, with Jagger declaring him a safer bet than Cam Ward. The wide receiver trio of Makai Lemon, Carnell Tate, and Jordyn Tyson flew off the board next, though debate raged about which one truly deserves WR1 status. The surprises came later. Kenyon Sadiq at tight end drew Vernon Davis comparisons, while sleepers like Mike Washington Jr. and Zachariah Branch generated serious buzz as potential value picks in rookie drafts. Explore more tools and resources to stay ahead of your league.
Wide Receiver Free Agency: George Pickens Headlines Thin 2026 Class Rich Dotson and Garret Price break down the 2026 wide receiver free agent landscape and team needs across the NFL. While the rookie draft class offers depth at the position, several veteran receivers could shift the dynasty landscape when free agency opens. The hosts dive into which teams desperately need help and where value might emerge for fantasy managers. George Pickens leads the class after a career best 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns in Dallas. The hosts expect him to return on a franchise tag or extension. Alec Pierce emerges as an intriguing secondary option who could fit Buffalo's needs. The duo identifies Las Vegas and Tennessee as premier landing spots where receivers could immediately become fantasy assets, similar to Josh Palmer's breakout season. Potential cap casualties include Tyreek Hill, Calvin Ridley, DJ Moore, and surprisingly Michael Pittman Jr, creating additional roster movement across the league.
Rich Dotson and Garret Price sound the alarm on running back scarcity in dynasty leagues. With a weak 2026 rookie class, the hosts urge managers to act now before free agency reshapes the landscape. The message is clear: if you need running back help, the time to trade is before values spike. Breece Hall leads the free agent class as the top prize for contending teams. The hosts highlight Kansas City, Houston, and Washington as ideal landing spots. Kenneth Walker and Travis Etienne round out the top tier, while J.K. Dobbins and Javonte Williams offer intriguing mid-tier value. Rich and Garret break down potential cap casualties including Tony Pollard, Joe Mixon, and James Conner, while highlighting Jonathon Brooks as a sneaky buy low candidate in Carolina.
Garret Price and Andrew Mott conduct a 13 round superflex tight end premium startup mock draft with the Dynasty Nerds community. With outdated ADP creating opportunities, the hosts demonstrate how to exploit market inefficiencies and build championship rosters through best player available strategies. Andrew builds around Drake Maye and Caleb Williams as his cornerstone quarterbacks, emphasizing the importance of locking down the premium position early in superflex formats. He adds Bryce Young as a high upside QB3, betting on continued improvement with Carolina's offensive development. Garret delays quarterback until round six, snagging C.J. Stroud while stockpiling running backs with Jahmyr Gibbs, De'Von Achane, and Breece Hall. The strategy creates trade flexibility while capturing elite talent at scarce positions. Andrew exploits outdated ADP to land Emeka Egbuka in round four and George Pickens in round six, both players he had ranked significantly higher.
What does the 2026 NFL Draft class really offer dynasty managers? Garret Price, Jared Wackerly, Jagger May, and Andrew Mott launched the new Draft Nerds Network with a deep dive into the consensus top 12 prospects. The hosts warn this class lacks depth outside the elite tier, with just two quarterbacks cracking the first round in SuperFlex formats and a historically weak running back group. Listen to This Episode:
Garret Price, Jared Wackerly, and Jagger May dive into the wild transfer portal season, breaking down which moves will elevate prospects for the 2027 NFL Draft. Listen to This Episode:
Garret Price and Jagger May break down the top 72 dynasty rankings for Superflex tight end premium leagues, revealing a major philosophical shift toward elite running backs. The hosts agree that securing elite running backs has become critical for dynasty success. Bijan Robinson sits at three overall, with Jahmyr Gibbs at 11 and De'Von Achane cracking the top 24 at 13. Jagger emphasizes that his struggling teams this season all faded running back early, leading to his philosophical change. Garret explains that Josh Allen and Drake Maye remain the only quarterbacks he feels comfortable taking in the first round, with quarterback depth allowing managers to wait until rounds five or six for Jared Goff or Dak Prescott. Both consistently finish as QB1s despite being undervalued. Jaxson Dart ranks ahead of Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert at 21 overall, with both hosts praising his production despite having no coaching stability and limited weapons. Price's rankings feature only six quarterbacks in the top 24, a dramatic shift from previous seasons when he'd rank 11 or 12 signal-callers that high. The duo identifies round four as a crucial buy low tier, featuring Marvin Harrison Jr, Brian Thomas Jr, and George Pickens. Pickens draws particular praise from Jagger despite contract year concerns about his effort level after getting paid. Kyle Pitts also earns strong backing at tight end eight after a solid season with Atlanta that featured consistent floor production. Garret Price, Jared Wackerly, and Jagger May dive into the players who could reshape the 2026 NFL Draft class and the explosive transfer portal movement in college football. The hosts identify Dante Moore as the quarterback who could elevate the 2026 class from mediocre to must-watch. Moore's combination of arm talent and mobility gives him legitimate top-five pick potential. Meanwhile, Ty Simpson's disappointing bowl performance likely sends him back to Alabama for another season. At running back, Justice Haynes holds the key to class depth. If Haynes returns to school, Jeremiah Love could become a 1.01 pick by scarcity alone. The wide receiver position hinges on Carnell Tate, whose decision impacts whether this class has legitimate first-round depth. Cam Coleman headlines the transfer market as a potential top-five NFL talent. Isaac Brown could skyrocket up draft boards with the right landing spot, while Dylan Raiola and Byrum Brown represent high-upside quarterback options seeking better situations. Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price debuted a new game called The Build to close out 2025, drafting teams through ten rounds with unique constraints each turn. Garret wishes for Tyjae Spears to dominate Tennessee's backfield, while Matt hopes Justin Jefferson escapes Minnesota's quarterback chaos. Rich's big wish? Marvin Harrison Jr. finally breaking out and proving he's not just a nepo baby. The crew then fires up the Isaiah Likely-O-Meter to predict offseason scenarios, including Tyler Shough starting for New Orleans, David Njoku staying in Cleveland, Kirk Cousins landing a new starting gig, and Saquon Barkley producing another RB1 season. Along the way, Theo and Garrett debate future QB prospects such as Dante Moore and Ty Simpson, highlight key RB and WR archetypes, and explain how tight-end premiums are reshaping early rookie draft strategy.
The Dynasty Nerds crew dove deep into tight end evaluations across eight NFL draft classes, revealing which years produced the most fantasy-relevant players at the position. Garret Price, Jagger May, and Andrew Mott broke down every class from 2020 through 2027, discussing hits, misses, and future expectations. Listen to This Episode:
Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price debated aging dynasty assets on the Dynasty Nerds podcast. Jonathan Taylor (27 next season) earned mixed reviews—Matt and Rich want to ride him out while Garret seeks creative exit strategies. AJ Brown (29) got similar treatment, with Matt preferring to wait for a better landing spot. The trio agreed to hold George Kittle (32) despite injury concerns, citing the lack of return value. Taylor's 300-plus touch workload raised red flags despite elite production. Garret would move him for Quinshon Judkins plus a 2-1 or flip him with picks for Devon Achane. Rich prefers holding unless he can get Treveon Henderson straight up, noting Taylor's trade value still commands a 2027 first plus another asset. Matt leaned toward riding it out one more year in Indianapolis' offense. Josh Jacobs (28) earned unanimous "ride it out" verdicts. Rich emphasized Jacobs has been a perennial RB1 since entering the league, calling him "the Dak Prescott of running backs" in terms of consistent value and trade difficulty. The seven-year veteran entered the league at 20 and remains in his athletic prime despite heavy usage. Matt acknowledged nervousness but agreed one more year makes sense before selling. Brown's situation in Philadelphia creates uncertainty, but his talent keeps him WR10 overall. Rich named Ladd McConkey, Rome Odunze, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Garrett Wilson as lateral move targets if contenders want to get younger. Garret compared Brown to Mike Evans and Davante Adams—receivers everyone thinks are done before they actually are, projecting 2-3 more WR1 seasons. Chris Godwin (30) got unanimous "ride it out" tags. Rich sold him for a second in a rebuild but called it slight underselling. With Mike Evans likely gone and Godwin running 90% of routes post-injury, Tampa's offensive usage solidifies his 2026 value. The panel suggested buying Godwin for a mid-second as a contender. Dak Prescott (33) sparked debate about George Pickens' future impact on his value. All three hosts prefer holding unless they own multiple elite QBs, with Garret advocating for the "old boring quarterback" strategy of cycling through 30-34 year old QBs instead of paying premium prices for youth. Rich has preached trading firsts for 2-3 year veteran windows for 11 years. Kittle's 14.3 PPG (fourth among tight ends) doesn't offset availability concerns. Matt suggested targeting Tucker Kraft post-ACL as an exit, but Rich countered that no contender return fills the Kittle void. The only straight-up deal all three would accept: Harold Fannin, who Rich ranks closer to Colston Loveland than most realize. 00:00 Start 06:34 Get Out Early? 07:22 Jonathan Taylor 15:24 AJ Brown 27:07 Chris Godwin 30:07 Dark Prescot 39:09 Josh Jacobs 44:26 George Kittle Learn more about your ad choices. Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price debated fantasy breakout candidates on the Dynasty Nerds podcast. AD Mitchell earned a 3/5 belief rating after averaging 15 PPR points over three games with the Jets. Tyler Shough and Devin Neal emerged as cheap SuperFlex depth options in New Orleans. Rich's bold prediction: Trevor Lawrence establishes himself as a top-12 dynasty quarterback in 2026 under Liam Cohen's offense. Mitchell topped the risers with six-plus targets per game since joining New York. Rich gave him a 3/5, citing athletic upside but noting he needs everything to break right. If the Jets land Fernando Mendoza, Mitchell could thrive as the Z receiver opposite Garrett Wilson. Matt compared his ceiling to Jameson Williams' role in Detroit. Jalen Coker disappointed the panel despite recent production. Garret rated him just 1.5/5, predicting Carolina adds a tight end like Kyle Pitts or Dallas Goedert in free agency, pushing Coker to WR3. Rich saw him as pure trade bait—a "scale tipper" with name value exceeding actual dynasty upside. Shough earned 3.5-4/5 ratings as New Orleans' likely 2026 starter after winning back-to-back games. Garret compared him to Davis Mills—competent enough to be a QB2 but not a long-term franchise solution. Neal scored 2.5/5 as a Brian Robinson type who could split carries with Alvin Kamara if the Saints move on from the 31-year-old's $18 million cap hit. Rich's crystal ball prediction centered on Lawrence becoming QB2 overall since the bye week. With Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr. developing in year two, he projects Lawrence as a top-8 dynasty quarterback. Garret's bold take: 2026 will have the fewest fantasy-relevant day-one and day-two NFL Draft picks in 15 years, with only Jeremiyah Love, one or two quarterbacks, and 4-5 receivers worth first-round rookie picks. Gunner Helm received 4/5 ratings as a sneaky tight end buy with Tennessee's bare cupboard creating opportunity alongside Cam Ward. Jayden Reed scored 3-4.5/5 despite Green Bay's crowded receiver room, with the panel split on whether he can consistently crack starting lineups. Garret Price, Andrew Mott, and Jagger May ranked wide receiver classes from 2020 to 2027 on the College Show. The 2024 class topped their rankings despite Year 2 disappointments from Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Brian Thomas Jr. The crew also hyped the 2027 class featuring Jeremiah Smith, who some believe could be the best prospect in years. The hosts agreed the 2021 class ranked second overall, producing dynasty assets like Ja'Marr Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Nico Collins. The 2020 class landed fourth despite early whiffs on Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson. Meanwhile, 2023 ranked dead last entering the draft but got salvaged by Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Looking ahead, the 2026 class lacks a true alpha, with Jordan Tyson, Carnell Tate, and Makai Lemon forming a solid but unspectacular top tier. The 2027 class stole the show, with Smith drawing Julio Jones comparisons and Cam Coleman rounding out an elite top duo. Stop guessing these WR rooms wrong! Let's break them down with Garret Price from Dynasty Nerds!
Our guest today is Garret Price, who Mike speaks to about his HBO Series “Yacht Rock: A DOCKumentary.” In addition to editing dozens of narrative and documentary series and films, Garret directed “Love, Antosha”. This is his second directorial effort for “Music Box”, the previous being, “Woodstock 99: Peace Love and Rage.” In “Yacht Rock”, Garret not only burnishes his archival and editorial chops, but digs in for simply charming interviews with the creators of this putative outgrowth of the 70s Southern California sound. This was a fun one folks! Garret was game for the sort of back and forth jousting that comes when you try to nail down just what comprises this retrospectively imagined subgenre of music. And, in the process you'll hear that Mike outed himself as a Steely Dan fan. Despite that, we hope you'll take a listen!
