Having plundered the tomb of General Grevious, our would-be assassins are bound for the Empire's overdeveloped nucleus: Coruscant! In order to find medical droids with first-hand knowledge of Vader's extensive augmentations, they'll need to seek out uneasy allies, traverse the social strata of a planet-city, and put themselves in some morally compromised positions. Will it pay off, or will the law catch them before they can even face their masked foe? Content warnings: "car" chases, mention of medical experimentation, explosives and violence in a hospital. Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith is considered by many to be the best of the prequels. In this film, we see the fall of the Republic/rise of the Empire, Anakin's turn to the Dark Side, and his fateful duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar. Oh, and we also get the introduction of a four armed lightsaber wielding cyborg named General Grevious... that's a thing (for like 2 seconds). Thank for listening! Please leave a review and share with a friend!

PS. Inte riktigt sagans slut.
"SHATTERED" was the best word to describe this episode and that makes it a fitting title. Darth Maul has been captured. The Mandalorians have caged Maul in a device from decades old when Mandalorians had to contain force-wielders. It was believed Dutchess Satine outlawed them, but Bo Katan claims "this is the last one". This was very reminiscent of Silence of The Lambs- even going as far to put Maul in a muzzle. We get an extended scene from "Revenge of The Sith" with a hologram call from the Jedi Council. Mace Windu updates the council on Obi-Wan engaging General Grevious and expresses concern with senator Palpatine. When Ahsoka asks for more information she is SHADED by Windu saying this information is only privy to Jedi and not "citizens". Everyone hangs up except for Master Yoda who senses Ahsoka has more to share, but Ahsoka does not share and ends the call. ORDER 66. Ahsoka and her fleet of the 501st leave Mandalore on course to Coruscant. While on the main deck, Ahsoka senses something.... It's Anakin. He's in pain. Suffering. Something terrible has happened. She goes to Rex who has just received a call from none other that Darth Sideous. His body is telling him no, but his mind is telling him yes. Through tears Rex express what little connection he has left with Ahsoka to go find "Fives", only to become overwhelmed by the order and proceeds to attack Ahsoka along with the rest of the clones. Ahsoka, confused and afraid, disarms Rex and flees through the ceiling. Rex orders the clones to go execute Maul and search for Ahsoka. Ahsoka finds a group of astromech droids including R7 and they hack into the Jedi archive mainframe only to discover what Rex alluded to- a video recording of Rex talking about Fives having the clone inhibitor chips having a secret purpose to kill all the jedi.... Ahsoka frees Maul, but not to form an alliance, only to have him be a distraction. Ahsoka devises a plan to trap Rex and remove the inhibitor chip. The droids fix the doors around Rex and they knock him out. R7 scans Rex, but cannot find any signs of an inhibitor chip. Ahsoka grabs Rex's face and repeats "I'm one with the force, the force is with me." Rex starts to repeat the phrase and the microchip is discovered. Meanwhile... Darth Maul wrecks shop in a hallway Vader-Rogue-One-style. He decapitates two clones and chops one's arm off! The clones are breach the door Ahsoka, Rex, and the droids are in. They open fire on Ahsoka and just in the knick of time- Rex awakens with a clear head and opens fire on the clones. Rex is back! The episode ends with him revealing that every clone across the galaxy has been ordered to take down the Jedi. TO BE CONTINUED.... Recorded on a dark and story night in October 2018 we are back with our 3rd annual Halloween Special! If you are new to The Sandcrawler then you may not have heard our past two shows celebrating Star Wars and Halloween. In those episodes we picked some of our favourite “scary” Star Wars figures. Not scary like Darth Vader or General Grevious but scary like “Monkey Face Leia” and “Little Emo Ani.” This week we talk about our plans for this Halloween and about how we both had a thing for scaring people in our teenage years. We then bring you both of our Scary Star Wars Figures segments from 2016 & 2017. Hey, if they can broadcast It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown for 52 years then we can have an “Archive Release.” Right? Right? It's been awhile, but not as long as the wait for Episode VIII is going to be.Still, it was worth it, given co-hosts Matt Moore and Jeff McGee dive into the comics released since our last issue back in January. (Has it really been almost a month?) and also examine the final sales estimates for comics in 2015, as compiled by John Jackson Miller at his Comichron website.Kanan, issue #10 (just two more issues to go until it comes to an end) sees Caleb Dume, the Clone Troopers and Master Billaba draw inexorably closer to the showdown with General Grevious and, of course, a resolution on Kaller with the Rebels team that Kanan is leading. The issue, written by Greg Weisman and illustrated by Pepe Larraz also stands out for its introduction of a new character in its pages who also appeared in the current season of the Rebels TV show.Star Wars #15 is a luxurious tapestry, with Jason Aaron scripting another tale of Ben Kenobi on Tatooine, as he watches over the young Luke Skywalker. From here on out, any such story focused on Ben during his time on the desert world will now be referred worldwide as "an #ObiOneShot." So as it is written, so let it be done. But what truly makes this issue shine is the compelling and richly textured illustrations by

Hot Dog #31- This week my and Matt’s pandering to you the audience, and playing into the Star Wars hype machine finally comes to an end. We finish the prequel trilogy by watching 2005's “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith", directed by the devil himself aka George Lucas. This film had us asking such questions as; did we all go see this movie in the theater because we felt obligated to? How have the 1.3 million clone soldiers not all died yet? Why is Count Dooku even in this movie? What the hell is the floating water, mermaid ballet thing Palpatine is watching? What is General Grevious’s motivation other than “he is bad guy” ? What denomination of coin was used to determine what characters would be CGI and what characters would be real ? Why does a nurse robot understand the concept of human emotions ? Why is Anakin such whiney little boy throughout the movie where he is supposed to become the most feared sith enforcer of the empire? Speaking of the empire, why is the republic restructured into an empire after it survived a coup and a civil war? And of course, WHY! WHY GEORGE LUCAS, WHY ?!? ! Join us for this Hot Dog! Edited by- Zach, Music by Nick April.
THE FORCE AWAKENS in three weeks and with the film premiere so close, we are finally getting little tastes of the soundtrack in TV spots and a clip from the American Music Awards. We analyze what little tantalizing tidbits that are out there so far. Speaking of the AMA's, this year's show featured a tribute to John Williams himself by Harrison Ford and the a cappella group Pentonix. We review this suprising and unique performance. And we continue our focus on the music of REVENGE OF THE SITH, including some great music used for General Grevious, the droid army, and the battle of Kashyyyk. This Thanksgiving, join RFR as we give thanks for John Williams and his brilliant musical contributions to the STAR WARS saga.
For episode 3, I'm super excited to share this interview with Matthew Wood, who is the voice of General Grievous in the Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars. When he's not doing voice work, he is also a supervising sound editor at Skywalker Sound, a job he's had for 25 years. Matt has worked on a ton of amazing movies, and been nominated for two Oscars for his work on "Wall*E" and "There Will Be Blood". On the personal side, Matt and I went to grade school, middle school, and high school together, and it was so fun catching up with him. (my son thinks it's hilarious that his mommy went to school with General Grievous.) Matt and I were five years old when Star Wars: A New Hope originally came out, and we both have fond memories of the Kenner toys, and the truly epic feel of the movie itself. And, he makes reference to the fact that he's working on the sound for the next film, The Force Awakens, which comes out on December 18, 2015. I have to give him a huge shout out and thank you ... when we got on Skype he noticed my sound was "low," and offered advice on how to get my sound rig set up. He was helpful on getting my sound on point, and I couldn't be more grateful. Matt and I talk about: - seeing the "first" Star Wars (A New Hope) when it came out in 1977 at age five - what it was like walking in to work on his first day at Skywalker sound - how he started as a video games tester and worked his way over to the sound team - his experience on Star Wars: The Phantom Menace - how feeding the many sides of his brain, technical, creative, led him to take acting classes at ACT (American Conservatory Theater) in San Francisco - his journey to becoming the voice of General Grievous - the full circle experience of being both a fan of Star Wars, and then becoming one of the characters in the film - how he learned to trust himself, listen to his gut, followed his intuition, and it led him to the opportunity that landed him as the voice of General Grievous - how he sees the inter-connectedness of all things - He answers the question of "What does General Grevious find joy in? What's that Greivous guy all about" from an emotional perspective (hint: he has a pet) - the fun he's had with Grievous' voice, and how children react to it - what it was like to work on Wall-E - what might surprise you about how sound is created in a movie (hint: think fruit and veggies) based on the McGurk effect - how he loves to craft things, from sound, to teams, to possibly chocolate and coffee - the advice he gives on following your dreams - what to do to jump start your joy Links: Matt's Website: Mattwood.com Matt on IMDB: The Force Awakens website The post Episode 3: Matthew Wood (the voice of General Grievous in Star Wars) on Crafting Joy in the Crossfade appeared first on Jump Start Your Joy.
