Consider yourself warned and bear in mind the images in question have not been officially released and are in their very nature, conceptual, so everything discussed should be considered with a healthy amount of scrutiny and discernment. On the same coin, if the leaks are to be taken seriously, the pieces potentially reveal major plot points and crucial information. Potential spoilers in 3, 2, 1…HBO celebrated and announced the commencing of production on its Lanterns series last week by revealing our first look at stars Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler, as Jon Stewart and Hal Jordan, respectively. The image showcases our heroes not adorned in the typical attire befitting a Green Lantern, but in regular clothing and walking down an empty road and looking a little worse for wear. Still no word on when exactly we should expect the 8-episode season to air; With Sunday evening's 97th Academy Awards ceremony, the Awards Season has concluded, but the conversation about the show and its winners and losers is just getting started. Host Conan O'Brien ushered the show along in true comedic fashion and by the time the dust settled, Anora ended up dominating the evening with 5 wins total, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress. The Brutalist, which was considered the odds-on favorite, followed with 3 wins for Cinematography, Score and Best Actor. Dune: Part 2 and Wicked were competitors in the technical categories, with 2 wins each, as was the case for Emilia Perez. Finally, Conclave, A Real Pain, The Substance, Flow and I'm Still Here rounded out the awards with one win each.Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins will guest star in The Boys' final season, reuniting with former co-star Jensen Ackles who joined in Season 3.Zendaya will voice Shrek's daughter in Shrek 5, while a controversial first-look teaser revealed animation changes to main characters.Oscar Nuñez, who played accountant Oscar Martinez throughout The Office's run, will reprise his character in the upcoming Peacock Office spinoff series.Stranger Things star Jamie Campbell Bower has joined the cast for season 3 of Amazon's The Rings of Power.Matthew Lillard has joined the cast of the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. At this time, there are no details on the character he is playing.Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter has been cast for a guest arc on the upcoming Showtime Dexter continuation series Dexter: Resurrection.Gene Hackman, two time Oscar winner known for his roles in The French Connection, Unforgiven, The Royal Tenenbaums, and Superman died last week at the age of 95. Both Hackman and his wife were found dead in their home and an investigation is still ongoing.John Jackson Miller's upcoming novel, Batman: Revolution, is set between Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film and its 1992 sequel, Batman Returns. This installment introduces the Riddler, a character Burton had originally envisioned for a sequel, with the story focusing on Norman Pinkus, a brilliant but overlooked copy boy who transforms into the enigmatic villain. As tensions rise in Gotham City, Batman faces a new adversary who challenges him with a perilous game of riddles, uncovering hidden secrets about the city's past that could have dire consequences for its future. In an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live executive producer and director of AppleTV+ series Severance Ben Stiller revealed that he originally asked former President Barack Obama to voice the narration of Lumon's puppet propaganda video in season two. Obama responded that he could not fit it in his schedule, so Stiller opted to go with Keanu Reeves instead.

Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for information about all your favorite Fictional Universes Marvel Studios had a strong showing during last week's Cinema Con in Las Vegas, where Kevin Feige dropped bombs and F-bombs while unveiling footage from Deadpool & Wolverine and Captain America: Brave New World. The look at Deadpool featured 9 minutes of spoiler-free material introduced by director Shawn Levy, which was preceded by a comedic clip with the title characters in costume bemoaning cell phone use in the theater. Meanwhile, the Cap 4 scene included an interaction between Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson and Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross, with Isiah Bradley factoring into a confrontation.  Paramount also made several major announcements during its Cinema Con panel; officially confirming the Transformers and G.I. Joe crossover film is in development and will be produced by Steven Spielberg. An R-rated, live action feature film adaptation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin storyline was also announced, as was a new Star Trek origin film that will act as a prequel to the 2009 movie, slated for a 2025 release. Perhaps most importantly, the studio debuted the trailer for Gladiator 2, starring Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington.  We received our first indication of a title change for Thunderbolts when we caught a glimpse of the logo during Florence Pugh's set tour a couple of weeks ago. Kevin Fiege confirmed the title change while remaining cagey during his appearance at Cinema Con saying, “Yes, you'll notice the asterisk on Thunderbolts. That is the official title of Thunderbolts and we won't talk more about that until after the movie comes out.”  James Gunn revealed the official insignia for his DCU version of Superman during Cinema Con. The emblem features a clean and simplistic design that is reminiscent of the logo from the Kingdom Come comic line. Deadpool and Wolverine are joining the viral popcorn bucket craze. While promoting the film at Cinema Con, Kevin Fiege confirmed an intentionally crude and rude bucket was being designed by Deadpool himself. Lionsgate shifted The Crow release to August 23 from its initial June 7 date and postponed Saw XI by a year, now set for September 26, 2025 Hailee Steinfeld joined the cast of Ryan Coolger's untitled horror thriller film and will star alongside Michael B. Jordan. StarWars.com announced a new comic miniseries starting July 3 called Star Wars: Inquisitors. Lionsgate announced that Blumhouse will revive The Blair Witch Project. Liam and Sanak review the newest Star Wars Book, The Living Force by, John Jackson Miller, the acclaimed author of other Star Wars novels such as Kenobi, Knight Errant, and A New Dawn as well as the Knights of the Old Republic comic book series. The Living Force follows all 12 members of the Jedi Council from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace: Yoda, Mace Windu, Ki-Adi Mundi, Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, Yaddle, Oppo Rancisis, Yarael Poof, Eeth Koth, Even Piell, Adi Gallia, and Depa Billaba. After an encounter with pirates in the Slice, the Jedi Council is challenged by Qui-Gon Jinn to reconnect with the people of the Republic by helping just one person. This challenge takes them to the planet Kwenn, the site of a High Republic event called The Grand Renewal, where they plan to stage a celebration to honor Kwenn's history. This book shows the Jedi Council at their very best and eerily hints at their coming downfall in the Star Wars prequels. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/starwarslads/support

James Gunn posted a cast photo for Superman Legacy following the first table read for the film set for release July 11, 2025. A logo also popped up in some photos of the cast name tags, and is rumored to be the official logo of the film. Filming is thought to begin this week.
