He's been in the business for more than 40 years, but Mark-Paul Gosselaar still feels like he hasn't experienced everything. “I still feel like I have so much left to learn. Every time I walk on a set, I learn something.” Currently on NBC's Found, Gosselaar plays Sir, a man held captive by Gabi (played by Shanola Hampton), the adult woman his character kidnapped as a child. He chose the role because it was unlike anything he's done before. “I'm always looking for something to challenge me... that when I read it, I become a bit anxious about playing that role.” And there's still so much to be revealed about Sir. “We've just scratched the surface. There was an episode last season that showed Sir's childhood. I've been told that possibly in upcoming seasons we'll go deeper into Sir as a child, because there's a lot of questions that need to be answered.” Part of what Gosselaar loves about Found is the chemistry he has with Hampton. “I enjoy coming to set because we have the leader of the show, Shanola, setting the tone as a good person... It's just a great environment to be creative in.”See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Paul and Erika dig into the best (?) SBtB episode of all time...Jessie’s Song! Paul has never seen the show and is confused about quite a bit, but Erika is there to hold his hand with her encyclopedic knowledge of Saved By the Bell.
Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens was a favourite book of Emmet's back in the 90s and over two decades later it has landed on Amazon Prime. Last year Justin Cronin's vampire apocalypse epic The Passage also was adapted to television (sadly it has since been cancelled. As a fan of both books, Emmet has thoughts on their televised iterations (Stevie didn't read the book, but also has opinions on the shows). *Also Emmet messed up - the nod in the Roman sequence of Good Omens was to Spartacus, not Ben Hur*

One of the most acclaimed new shows of the 2016/2017 television season didn't make it past ten episodes. The show was PITCH, it starred Kylie Bunbury (UNDER THE DOME) as the first female player in Major League Baseball, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar (SAVED BY THE BELL) as the baseball veteran who becomes her mentor... and possibly something more. PITCH was one of the most talked about television series of the last year, but was it really... CANCELED TOO SOON? Today, Mike and Sammy wax nostalgic with Lauren about the girthiest NBC sitcom of the late 80s/early 90s, "Saved By The Bell". This was a show about a group of high school students (Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffini-Amber Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Dustin Diamond) going through all of life's toughest high school moments, all the while making sure Screech knew he didn't belong. We discuss Lauren's admiration for terrible politicians, fall back schools, Screeched: Saved By The Smell, Girthy Sue, and more! This week on Very Special Episode Slimb and Todd go back to their roots and dish the Saved By the Bell episode 'No Hope With Dope'. What would it be like if Robert Pattinson came to your high school? Are Len Bias and John Belushi current references for Saturday morning TV in 1991? Was the the gang too hard on Johnny Dakota for his weed habit? How did Screech get though Bayside and know nothing about drugs? How come we never knew Mr. Belding had such great Hollywood connections? How come these LA parties on TV look so lame? Our gentleman hosts talk about these topics and try to get down to the bottom of what the real lesson of this Very Special Episode is. Enjoy the show! THIS IS VERY SPECIAL EPISODE!!
