Good Grief, Charlie Brown! Back on May 9, 2022, for our sister channel, Pop Culture Addicts, we talked with Brad Kesten! Brad is a long-time voice-over artist and the voice of the iconic Peanuts character Charlie Brown! We talked about being a child actor and what that meant for him. We talked about whether it was easier to be an actor or to be a kid. What the role of Charlie Brown meant to him. We talked about how he approached such an iconic role, particularly considering he was not the first to voice the character. We also discussed other roles that Brad has had in movies like Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom, Gremlins, and more. Indiana Jones: The Making of a Hero This week Ibrahim & I continue to look at the world of Indiana Jones, first profiled in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and continued with Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008), and Indiana Jones and Dial of Destiny (2023). On this episode Mr. Chavez & I focus on the middle three films. There has been a great deal written and discussed about all of the films in this series. Why should Ibrahim and I be any different? From the thrills and ridiculousness of so much of these films thru the politics, controversies, and tropes of the adventure genre (including racism, colonialism, and the White Saviour) we approach all of this with an awareness that acknowledges these facts while simulataneously loving and embracing the excitement of the action and the nobility of the Jones character. It's a fun conversation; we hope you enjoy it. Thanks for your continued love and support. JONES. INDIANA JONES. Vem ouvir! ----- ----- SEJA UM FÃ-SÓCIO E SE JUNTE AO NOSSO FANCLUBE! This week we are discussing the sequel that made you fear log trucks, "Final Destination 2". This movie has so much nostalgia for me since it was a movie I remember coming out while in high school. We couldn't review this one without our horror sequel expert, so Egan is back and helped us break down the log truck scene, the lack of emotions during any deaths, the hook handbasket man, the epic SFX death scenes, and more. Watch the unedited review at sequelsonly.com/FD2 Next week we talking about Indiana Jones Temple of Doom which is Jamie's hallpass. This sequel we've tried since the beginning to get someone, so this will be a total blast. Patreon-lyssnare avnjuter som vanligt dubbel speltid där samtalet fortsätter om The Seeding of a Ghost och The Boxer's Omen.
Nick, Anthony, Manny, Elise, and special guest Patrick, sit down to discuss and rate the re-watchability of the film, Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom, from 1984.
The time Indiana Jones got banned in India...Mark breaks down why the Indian government prevented Indiana Jones Temple of Doom from shooting in India and even refused to allow the movie to screen in Indian theaters.

Let's get deep into how to start designing a scene for a movie. Not just any scene, but the type of sequence that audiences will remember for the rest of their lives. What lenses do you pick, how does the camera move, what coverage do you get for the edit. Recent news has announced the exciting new frontier of the games industry in China, as games and consoles from elsewhere in the world have recently been permitted for sale within their country. This has been a huge jump in broadening the horizon of gaming as so many wonderful aspects of Chinese culture influence the world we live in. With this country’s classic style of storytelling, visuals, and music, Revelation Online proves that we are in for some really incredible gaming experiences from that part of the world. Developer NetEase reached out to Neal Acree as they love the cinematic feel of World of Warcraft’s music, and wanted to bring his influence into the stylistic palette of Revelation Online. From the beginning of the album to the finish, it tells its own gorgeous story and now I’m super excited to get my hands on the game coming out soon. It’s rare for the soundtrack to hit the market before the game actually does, and honestly I wish it would happen a lot more often! Tune into this new episode of GameTyrant Audio as I chat with Neal Acree about the creation of this masterpiece as well as his time in China to promote it. We were sure to talk about the range of styles in local Chinese food in that you can get authentic takes on classic dishes all the way to Indiana Jones Temple of Jones style cuisine (although some may even say they’re the same thing, to each their own). They even have their own unique take on KFC! As the show’s first repeat guest, it’s a huge honor to have Neal Acree back on after we last talked about his history with Blizzard and World of Warcraft.
