This week we have the wonderful James Gwinett on the pod! James is nine years alcohol free this year and we think it's safe to say he's definitely made the most of his sobriety. In his twenties, James was a semi-professional rugby player until he sustained a serious neck injury at 29. Realising that this had ended his rugby career, he fell into a depression which pushed his drinking into a place where he eventually felt like enough was enough and he had to change his life. He's now an author, his book 'Ready, Set, Life: A Story Of Redemption And The Lessons Learned' came out last year but even more importantly than that, he's also a Dad! Well it was lovely having James on the pod, he's a really inspiring guy and we know you're going to love listening to his episode with us. Bio: My name is David Cook, I'm from a county called Essex in the UK. My passion is the paranormal world. When I was a child I would watch TV shows like Arthur C Clarke's World Of Strange Powers, Tales From The Crypt, Twilight Zone as well as films like Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday The 13th, Halloween. Yeah I wasn't what you call a normal kid. When I started paranormal investigating I only started off with one video camera I have since built up quite a collection of different types of video cameras like night vision and full spectrum as well as HD cameras. All this has now lead to quite a few other projects I have planned including filming my own movies.

Author with a wildly vivid imagination. I've grown up trying to escape reality and in doing so I found myself in Liuith. An infinitely vast world with beautiful sceneries and endless places to adventure. I love adventure and is a sucker for spontaneous outings that can take me anywhere. I love to travel and I am infatuated with every culture I learn about. I'm a big food obsessed person, so I can try anything (minus certain animals though) and always enjoy it. My pallet is surprisingly wide. I grew up on Sri Lankan and Vietnamese food. And was given the chances to try foods from Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, etc. I can go on about food, but this is me. An avid dreamer. A fantasy enthusiast. And a creative. I dream to tell stories that reach the heart, both in books and screens. Oh, and I love animals.

Elevates! What's really good!? Life has its shares of ups and downs. But how are you handling your respons-ability? You are fully capable of controlling your reaction and processing for a better outcome. You can't fully heal if you're in denial. You can't fully heal if your head and heart isn't in it. Identify your voice! "The best way out, is always through." -Robert Frost Sundays message: "The other day my oldest brother gave me the ultimate reminder. You don't know what you have until it's gone. People usually reference this to relationships, etc. Let's change the perspective. We've dealt with people that have taken advantage, some people still taking advantage. Not seeing our worth when they have it good. We've learned to say no, we've learned the importance of being impeccable with our words. Let the people that haven't learned to respect us lose us. Their loss, your gain. They won't know what they had, till it's gone. So go. Choose you." Tuesdays message: "Without ranting, I'm going to attempt to explain why you shouldn't compare & why social media is changing your motives. Simply put, we were not all made the same, "as one", as they'd like us to believe. As I've said before, inequality was never an issue, it was us trying to stoop to levels we weren't meant for, which is why we were captured into slavery, etc. We were going after something that wasn't meant for us. Being on social media seeing the different "perspectives" can make you change what you really desire in your heart. Ever want for something, receive that something and still not be satisfied? Yeah that wasn't meant for you. Take an internal look. Identify what makes you different and embrace it and make it a part of you! Then you'll see the real joys of life. STOP BEING A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT." Shout: > Ri aka Rye Rye @deeply_unlocked, where YOU maintain your visual.
