When she was 17 years old she ran away, leaving behind everything and everyone she had ever known and moves 100’s of miles away with only a few dollars in her pocket and the clothes on her back with no guarantee of survival. Depression, addiction, and battles with suicide had unknowingly been ruling her life since she was 8 years old. At 18 years old Rebecca found herself in a place of mere destruction and brokenness that nearly took her life. Joshua and his siblings were all sexually and physically abused by their father at a young age. This led to Joshua suffering from a drug addiction for many years, and even ending up in jail. Despite these extremely unfortunate circumstances, Joshua overcame them and ultimately forgave his father. No words that I can write could possibly do justice to his story. You'll just have to listen to it.
