La obra “Zamora en el mapa de Sefarad” ha sido editada por Alfredo Alonso (Luther College, Iowa) y Jesús Jambrina (Viterbo University, Wisconsin). En ella se recoge una selección de las ponencias presentadas en los congresos celebrados en Zamora entre los años 2013 y 2021 sobre el legado judío de la ciudad, y, por extensión, de Sefarad antes y después de 1492. Los textos abordan, entre otros temas, la academia rabínica de la ciudad, en especial, la figura de Isaac Campantón (1360-1463); los dilemas de los conversos y criptojudíos; las huellas de la herencia judía en la frontera con Portugal; la memoria de los 23 zamoranos enviados a los campos de concentración y el impacto en las Américas de la diáspora sefardita. Se incluyen ensayos académicos de España, Portugal, Israel, Estados Unidos y Cuba, entre otros Abraham Gross, Jane Gerber, Jorge Martins, Judith Cohen, Blanca Flor Herrero Morán, Suso Vila así como las poetas Margalit Matituahu y Ruth Behar. Entre le jour de sa disparition et celui de son enterrement, beaucoup de choses se passent en coulisses.
