This week, join us as we revisit our episode on Common Fund Doctrine as a refresher! Original Air Date: November 21,2021. The Common Fund Doctrine seems simple enough – it focuses on sharing the costs to obtain a recovery fairly. Those who will benefit from the common fund of the recovery must share in the cost of obtaining it. Just like the Made Whole doctrine, though, it can feel unfair when a personal injury attorney seeks to reduce the subrogation recovery for seemingly no reason. On this week's installment, Rebecca is joined by fellow attorney, Jason Sullivan to discuss when the Common Fund Doctrine applies, and how to figure how much, if any, it will reduce your subrogation lien.

Jesus sees you in the crowd—broken, desperate, out of hope. His question cuts deep: “Do you want to be made whole?” Real healing means your whole life changes. Stop trusting systems. Admit your inability. Answer His question. Obey His command. Your testimony begins there.

Mark 3:1–6 In today's story, Jesus enters a synagogue on the Sabbath and meets a man with a shriveled hand. While others watch closely—waiting to see if Jesus will break their rules—Jesus does something unexpected. He heals. But instead of celebrating, the religious leaders become angry. Why? Because they cared more about their rules… than people. In this episode, we explore what the Sabbath was meant to be, what the Pharisees misunderstood, and what it means to truly love God and others.

In a world marked by brokenness, longing, and quiet hope, the story of Jesus emerges not as myth, but as the turning point of history. What began as a rumor of resurrection becomes a life-altering reality for Paul, who encounters the risen Christ and discovers that Jesus is not only alive, but Lord over all creation.
He didn't whisper it. He didn't sigh it. He declared it. “It is finished.” The final breath of Jesus wasn't resignation—it was triumph. Every sin, every shame, every failure was dragged to the cross and buried in His body. He unplugs the lie that we need to earn grace. That we still have something to prove. That maybe we're still not enough. On the cross, Jesus says, You are forgiven. It is finished.Support the show~ Changing lives with Jesus! Facebook | YouTubeInstagram @dscsienna

Where did sickness come from? Is it God's will? Does Jesus still heal? Do our words matter? Should we expect God to move? In this series, Made Whole, we are going back to Scripture to answer foundational questions about healing. If sickness did not originate in God, then we can trust His heart. If Jesus reveals the Father, then we can look at His works. If life in Christ is abundant, then it is more than survival.
John Flores
In Gospel of John 5:1–15, Jesus walks into Bethesda—“the House of Mercy”—and confronts a system that looks spiritual but lacks grace. Among the sick and forgotten, He singles out one man who had been paralyzed for thirty-eight years and asks a question that still echoes today: “Do you want to be made whole?” At first, the answer seems obvious. Of course he does. But Jesus isn't merely offering relief from symptoms—He's inviting transformation of identity. Healing changes what hurts. Wholeness changes who you believe you are. This message explores the difference between superstition and the supernatural, survival and surrender, healing and identity. When Jesus says, “Rise, take up your bed, and walk,” He's not giving advice—He's declaring a new reality. The very thing that once carried the man would now be carried by him. Are you ready to abandon the system that taught you to survive and receive the grace that calls you whole? This week, we wrestle with the question that still stands: -Do you want healing—or wholeness? -Relief—or transformation? -Freedom—or familiarity? Jesus is not asking what's wrong with you. He's asking if you're ready to live whole.
This is message 14 in Gospel Record of John True wholeness is found only when a person stops trusting their own strength and responds in faith to the voice of Christ. Human effort, tradition, and waiting on circumstances can never bring lasting change, because the deepest problem is not physical limitation but spiritual helplessness. When Christ speaks, He does not offer partial improvement but complete restoration, calling people to rise, obey, and walk in new life. Healing and transformation begin when weakness is acknowledged and the word of Christ is believed and followed. Pastor Glenn Murphy - Wednesday, January 14, 2026
The sermon centers on the transformative question, 'Wilt thou be made whole?', drawing from John 5:1–9 to confront the spiritual complacency of believers who, like the man at Bethesda, remain passive despite divine opportunity. It emphasizes that while God offers healing, power, and community, true restoration requires personal responsibility, obedience, and a willingness to move beyond self-justification and blame. The preacher underscores the danger of spiritual stagnation—rooted in bitterness, sympathy, or cultural distractions—arguing that Christians must actively engage with Scripture, the church, and the Holy Spirit to grow beyond long-term infirmities. Drawing from Romans 8, Galatians 6, and Ephesians 4, the message calls for a deliberate choice to walk in the Spirit, mortify the flesh, and bear one another's burdens not through dependency, but through mutual accountability and grace. Ultimately, the sermon is a pastoral challenge to embrace spiritual maturity, reject passive waiting, and step forward in faith, knowing that God's power is available to those who are willing to be made whole.

This week, join us as we revisit our episode on the Made Whole Doctrine for a refresher! Original Air Date: May 28, 2021. The Made Whole Doctrine protects an insured's right to recovery before recovery is collected by its insurer. But what if the tortfeasor does not have enough insurance to cover the loss? Is the insured entitled to recovery for pain and suffering? And the ultimate question, when is the insured considered fully compensated for the loss? Being “made whole” varies even in those states that do apply the Made Whole Doctrine. Listen as Steve and Rebecca lead you through several states' application of the doctrine, from those that require a legal determination that the insured has been made whole before any subrogation recovery, to those that parse out the doctrine based on damage types, to those that reject it entirely.
