**(Warning: Some sound bites in this episode contain explicit language)**25 Years of Happy Gilmore! Join Kenny and Del as they pay homage to one of the 90s best comedies. After being fired from SNL, Adam Sandler went straight into his first film Billy Madison. A modest hit, Billy Madison proved Sandler had Box Office potential and Universal Studios immediately committed to his second film Happy Gilmore (thank goodness). The success of Happy Gilmore prompted Sandler to create Happy Madison Productions. Sandler has been "critic proof" ever since, because no matter what he makes, we must see it. In this show, the guys will cover history, cast and crew, trivia, and Happy Gilmore's place in cinema over 25 years. The research involved for this Podcast resulted in an overwhelming amount of fantastic information. We tried to get as much as we could into this podcast, but ultimately what you hear is a condensed version for a recording session that could have lasted for hours. Our goal is to inform and entertain you, and as an added bonus, if our discussion peaks your interest on Happy Gilmore, we consider our job done. April 30th is the one year anniversary of our Podcast. Thank you for supporting us during our first year. It's been a lot of fun for us and we hope for you too. We have a lot more coming as we have started to work on collaboration projects and interviews. So stick with us as we continue to bring you more new and entertaining content. For our "Podversary", we revisited our very first recording, "Episode 1 The Improbable Game". We never launched Episode 1, so we decided that we wanted to re-record our 1st Episode as we always felt the show content was great, but the quality of the recording wasn't. So we dusted off the original script, took a polish kit to it, and gave it another shot. You know what, it was still a fun episode. Our feature movie today is 2019s "The Hunt". Kenny, Arnaz, and Del give this movie their best efforts to break down the film in their usual style. Complete with a few sound effects, this is a fun review!Below is the link to the mentioned article in the podcast:https://the-dead-meat.fandom.com/wiki/The_Hunt_(2020)_KILL_COUNTThanks for listening and be sure to subscribe to get instant notifications of our next show!If you enjoyed our program, keep in mind that we have other shows for you to enjoy:Our Flagship Show that we drop Bi-Weekly without fail! Our News Show where we cover major movie and pop culture News. Our Request Line Show, where we review a film by request from a listener. Our Specials, that pay tribute to special occasions. Our Series, themed shows that run for several episodes; like the one on Breaking Bad (currently available!).Email us at: BrothersinArmchairsPodcast@gmail.com Get our latest news on movies and pop culture by joining our social media: Twitter at: @BroArmchairs Facebook group at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/217059166060270 Instagram at: https://www.instagram.com/brothersinarmchairspodcast/ And finally, all of our Pods are available https://BrothersinArmchairs.buzzsprout.com Theme song "Loli'ana" written and performed by award winning musician Kamuela Kahoano. **CONTAINS ADULT LANGUAGE**Join Kenny, Arnaz, and Del as they delve into the debate of whether or not DIE HARD (1988) is a Christmas Movie. For over a decade, fans of the film Die Hard have argued over it being a Christmas movie. That debate came to a peak in 2018 as the debate grew to included analytics, scientific polls, interviews of the movies creators and stars, and more. In late 2018, even the Die Hard's writer and lead actor went head to head on opposing sides. So just for fun and a little theater, The Brothers take their own twist on the debate with a little something extra from Kenny. They even polled their social media community and included some of their comments in the debate as well. If anything, this episode is gonna be fun, if they can remain friends after all the smoke is clear. Part 2 of Our Series on Dangerous Prayers
Our Series on Romans
Our Series in Genesis continues in Genesis 8:20-9:17 where we see that God delights to show Himself Merciful
Our Series for the Month of March: Out of Eden. Eden (The Garden of Eden) was God's plan for us. It was a place where we didn't have to struggle, a place where all our daily needs were met. The new testament is referred to as The Kingdom of God. It is the presence of @kingsleypst bringing us God's word this morning. How come we have become so comfortable living a life far away from what God had planned for us. We should not adapt to living outside of God's plan for us. We shouldn't get used to struggling and suffering. Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked with God and he was not. God took him. Enoch lived Eden's life. The secret to having the Eden experience is walking with God. So the question is, are you making a real connection with God? We must be careful not to reduce God to a prayer request, what He wants with us is a relationship. There are 4 ways to know that you are walking with God. 1. You are conscious of God. Being conscious of God makes a lot of difference. Something is wrong if you have God in your life and you are powerless.. It is not normal. Luke 8:46 2. You Interact with God. We are not visiting him, we should be conscious of him everywhere we go. Interacting with God means that we pray to him in the Spirit and listen for him to speak to us 3. You know where God is taking you to. 4. You keep pace with God. You need to be able to wait for him and this is one of the hardest things to do. Because a lot of times, we lack patience. 2 Peter 3:9. Be conscious not to reduce God to a shrine, where you visit once a week for answers. You should build a relationship with Him. John 15:2-5. You need to abide in God. Be permanently connected to Him. Challenges will come, but when you are connected to God, you are not just looking at what you have, but you are looking to God and drawing from His resources. 1 Kings 17:1-4 When you are connected to God, He will command people for your sake. It could be a physical place, or a mental place, or a business place. He will direct you to that place where your help is. God always plans ahead. When you walk with God, He is free to change the channel He is using to bless you. That is why you need to stay connected to God. So that when the channel He is using to bless you changes, you are aware. God is too dynamic to be stagnant. He is fluid so we need to move with Him. God shows off from time to time. He has too many options and He uses unexpected channels. Walking with God births your blessings. Psalm 91:1 KJV He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. In God, you have the strength to overcome sin. Out Of Eden Released by:DCC NIGERIA

Our Series is brought to a close by looking at the final King of each Kingdom: King Zedekiah (Judah) and King Hoshea (Israel). Though they reigned around 140 years apart there are many similarities between their characters and the times in which they lived. Their lives are mirrored. We look at some of the history of the period, including inter-state relations. We are reminded how important the Prophets are at this time. There is hope when we submit to God even when judgement is forecast. We need to repent and turn to Him. Both Zedekiah and Hoshea looked for help in other places to what God indicated. The picture of King Jehu bowing to Shalmaneser III on the Black Obelisk sums up what is often happening in these two books. Yahweh was meant to be the true King of Israel and Judah. However, most kings trusted in foreign powers rather than God. Failure, tragedy and despair mark most of the reigns in the books of Kings and Chronicles. Christ is our Lord and King. Jesus is King of all the nations. Looking at the slides on our website will really help you to get more out of this Talk.
Our Series on the Book of Joshua continues with the story of Rahab.
Our Series on 1 Peter Continues with a look at the Elders and Younger people of the church.
Our Series is continued by looking at the transforming love of God which brought the celebration of Jesus birth we call Christmas.
Our Series, Jesus Encounter, continues by looking at the disciple whom Jesus loved, John.
Our Series 9 reviews begin with a confession, a pre-credits turnaround, a comparison to "The End of Time" (That'll enrage my friends at Radio Free Skaro!), and a bit of bet-hedging!
Pastor Robert Nolt continues Our Series with a Sermon Message on "Whatever Happened To Sin?"Support the show (https://tithe.ly/give?c=397080)
