Here's the truth no one talks about: You don't get what you want in life—you get what your nervous system feels safe receiving.Think about it—every client who comes to work with you has something they deeply desire. They've likely tried multiple strategies, taken all the "right" steps, and still aren't seeing results. Whether it's more money, a thriving relationship, or a successful business, the reason their goal remains out of reach often isn't due to a lack of capability or an outside factor–but because their nervous system isn't yet on board.Nervous system regulation is the missing link between your goals and your ability to receive the outcome of your achievement. If you're trying to hustle your way into a vision that your body doesn't feel safe holding, you'll burn out or sabotage. This is why Master Coach Training is such a powerful process for you as a coach, and for the clients you serve. The nervous system equates "familiar" with "safe"–even if that means staying stuck instead of moving forward. Today, we'll look at what nervous system regulation truly looks like so you can break this pattern, and I'll offer you several coaching tools and strategies that will help you and your clients expand your capacity to receive from a place of safety. The vision you have for your life and business is powerful, but it can't just be about setting goals. You can want something sincerely, but without nervous system regulation, you will stay stuck. When you have the holistic coaching tools to build safety and open yourself up to receive, real transformation and lasting change are possible—for you and your clients. What you'll learn:Why true nervous system regulation focuses on helping your body get used to something different Common signs that your nervous system does not feel safe receiving–and what to do about themPractical coaching tools to create safety in the nervous system: somatic anchoring, tapping, and microdosing changeHow to bridge the gap between your vision and the safety you need to achieve itJournal prompts to uncover why it feels unsafe to get what you wantYou can read the full show notes here.Connect with Molly ClaireMolly's Website: MollyClaire.ComMaster Coach Training 2026 Application Open Have a question or thoughts about the podcast? Entscheidungsstärke trainieren: Schluss mit Hin und Her #896

TomsTalkTime - DER Erfolgspodcast

Ohne Hin und Her. Und denk immer daran: Wer will, findet Wege. Wer nicht will, findet Gründe. Tschüss, mach's gut. How to improve your rowing using self-diagnosis coaching and progressive drills. Timestamps 00:45 A powerful coaching tool for both coaches and athletes. Masters rowers like autonomy. Enabling the athlete to work things out for themselves facilitates mastery in a self-directed environment. The change is more likely to stick. Canada research by Derrik Motz, University of Ottawa on athlete coach relationship Coaching Masters Athletes – Advancing Research & Practice in Adult Sport https://fastermastersrowing.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/MOTZ-Faster-Masters_Rowing_webinar.pdf If you don't have regular coaching, this is a tool to try. 02:00 Start with a model of good rowing This has to have common understanding across your group. The rowing stroke cycle diagram is a good place to start. Where your rowing goes wrong - an example of a boat going "wonky" which was caused by the athletes stamping hard on the foot stretcher. 04:00 Progressive movements Start by working out when you do not have the problem. In this case increase the pressure progressively from 60% pressure, 70% etc and work out when the issue started to happen. Discuss this with your crew about the cause of the problem. Then decide what fixes the problem? Can you make the change in 1 stroke? 1 - identify the problem is happening 2 - what to do to fix it 3 - fix it in as few strokes as possible 4 - row in the new way so the problem doesn't occur 06:15 An example from sweep rowing - balancing the boat. The boat is balanced generally when the oars are under the water and the imbalance occurs on the recovery when the oars are out of the water. Our model of good rowing has the boat balanced throughout the stroke cycle. Is the boat balanced as the oars come out of the water? Yes. Is it still balanced when we get our arms straight / body rock forwards / roll up the slide? Work out where the problem starts to happen and then decide what to do to effect a change. The cause might be timing of the oar handle movement at the finish transition to the recovery. What fixes this? Probably handle heights or sequencing of the finish body movement. If handle height is the issue. Choose a drill like rowing with the oar flat on the water on the recovery. Then progressively change this to increase the depth of handle push down to take the oar out of the water. Then keep the handle at this height throughout the recovery until the next catch. The progression is to start with a 1 cm tap down; move to 2 cm and 3 cm. Can you keep the boat level at these stages? The self - diagnosis method helps us to diagnose the issue, fix the problem and then row in the new way. Use your autonomy to try to fix the issue and see if you can make it work in practice. Send us a textSelf-kindness might be the most overlooked tool in your coaching practice. In this eye-opening conversation with Emma-Louise Elsie, founder of Fierce Kindness Solutions Inc., we explore how cultivating self-compassion can transform coaching outcomes in our increasingly divisive world.Emma shares her powerful PACT framework—Pause, Ask, Choose, Time—that gives coaches a practical structure for helping clients implement self-kindness. She explains how this seemingly simple concept addresses the toxic cultural belief that self-kindness equals weakness or selfishness, which keeps many high-achievers trapped in cycles of overwhelm and diminished effectiveness. The conversation takes a fascinating turn when Emma reveals how to identify when clients need self-kindness most. Watch for warning signs like "I should be able to push through," difficulty setting boundaries, or signs of imposter syndrome. As Emma points out, "The challenge with self-kindness isn't knowing what to do—it's trusting and respecting yourself enough to actually do it."What makes this episode particularly valuable is the direct connection between self-kindness and coaching effectiveness. By teaching clients to recognize their unique stress signals and respond with intentional self-kindness, coaches help them become more authentic, resilient, and ultimately more successful. Mindfulness can transform your communication and your career. When we react, our instincts and impulses are in the driver's seat. But when we take the time to reflect, that's when Marshall Goldsmith says we take back control of how we respond.“Before speaking at work, breathe,” Goldsmith says. “Is my comment going to improve this other human being's commitment? At home, breathe. Is my comment going to improve this relationship with someone I love? If the answer is no, why am I saying it?”As a world-renowned executive coach, speaker, and best-selling author, Goldsmith teaches how a mindful approach can change how we relate to others, to ourselves, and even to our career goals and ambitions. Through reflection, we identify our values, which we can use to live what Goldsmith calls an “earned life — when the choices, risks, and effort we make in each moment align with an overarching purpose in our lives.”In this episode of Think Fast, Talk Smart, Goldsmith joins host Matt Abrahams to explore practical strategies for bettering our interactions with others and ourselves, from his “feed forward” method for giving and receiving constructive critique to his "daily questions" practice, which prompts reflective self-inquiry to keep us focused on what truly matters.Episode Reference Links:Marshall GoldsmithMarshall's Books: What Got Here Won't Get You There / Triggers Ep.138 Speak Your Truth: Why Authenticity Leads to Better CommunicationConnect:Premium Signup >>>> Think Fast Talk Smart PremiumEmail Questions & Feedback >>> hello@fastersmarter.ioEpisode Transcripts >>> Think Fast Talk Smart WebsiteNewsletter Signup + English Language Learning >>> FasterSmarter.ioThink Fast Talk Smart >>> LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTubeMatt Abrahams >>> LinkedInChapters:(00:00) - Introduction (01:35) - Key Communication Advice (02:17) - An Earned Life (04:14) - Transition to Leadership (05:45) - Breathe Before Speaking (07:00) - Feedforward vs. Feedback (08:00) - Managing Triggers (09:51) - Daily Success Checklist (12:29) - Using AI for Coaching (13:58) - Influencing Up Leadership (15:33) - The Final Three Questions (18:28) - Conclusion

Join my upcoming Positive Intelligence®️ Program In a world that often feels disconnected, it's easy to forget that you are your most important investment. In this episode, I share a personal story from 2012 when I had an intuitive sense about my husband's passing. That experience led me to prepare emotionally, physically, and financially, even though I faced a lot of resistance along the way. Those preparations made a huge difference when the time came—I was able to support my family, keep my business steady, and navigate through the grief. Later on, when I started feeling a bit stuck in my work, I discovered the Positive Intelligence®️ (PQ) framework. Blending this approach with intuition reignited my passion and helped me—and my clients—handle life's challenges with more ease and grace. I'll share practical tips on recognizing and managing those internal saboteurs we all have, and offer exercises you can start using right away to quiet that negative inner voice. Remember, as intelligent and successful women, we often put ourselves last. But it's time to change that. You deserve to invest in yourself. I'd love for you to join my upcoming six-week program where we'll combine Positive Intelligence and intuition to support your personal and professional growth.
