Despite the nagging and longer term injuries to multiple key players, namely Gaborik (who may be traded anyhow) Owen Nolan, Pierre-Marc Bouchard, and Brent Burns, your Minnesota Wild still cling to the lead in the ever dangerous Northwest Division. Still no word on Gaborik's future, which remains a complete mystery.

Ready for the first road trip of the season? The Wild are trying to be and they hit the ice in Mpls on Monday before flying out to Atlanta. Before they could leave we caught up with both Jacques Lemaire and Owen Nolan.

The Wild add another older guy in Owen Nolan, and still don't add a center. Wolves make a small deal and get yet another 1st round pick, which helps. Twins have an up and down week, involving two sweeps, one good, one bad.

Owen Nolan signed on as a free agent on Sunday night with the Minnesota Wild and after talked about it on the Minnesota Wild PONDcast.
