Michael Wayne grew up in Mississippi, attended the Naval Academy, left after his father died, built a career in business and investments while running a hedge fund for fifteen years, spent twenty-five years as a clandestine CIA contractor operating across some of the most sensitive and most dangerous missions available — and then went to Ukraine after the 2022 Russian invasion to organize humanitarian aid, evacuate women and children from combat zones, train Ukrainian soldiers, and deliver equipment to the front line before discovering widespread corruption tied to Ukraine aid that he says reached powerful US politicians. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, he shares what twenty-five years as a CIA contractor actually looked like from the inside, what changed after 9/11 in the intelligence world, what the Ukraine work actually involved, what the corruption he discovered actually implicated, and what the DOJ prosecution that followed his decision to push back against that corruption actually produced — including a wire fraud conviction, a federal prison sentence at FPC Montgomery, and what he believes was a deliberate government effort to make him a convicted felon before he could become a whistleblower. _____________________________________________ #TrueCrime #espionage #cia #prisonstory _____________________________________________ Thank you to CASH APP for sponsoring this episode: Download Cash App Today: https://capl.onelink.me/vFut/ksjh06pb #CashAppPod Cash App is a financial services platform, not a bank. As North American fuel flows shift, El Paso is becoming a more important pricing point for gasoline and diesel moving across the Southwest. In this episode, Amanda Hilow (Distillates Editor, US Products) and Jared Ainsworth (Gasoline Editor) discuss the launch of Argus' new El Paso assessments, including Argus ULSD fob El Paso and four new gasoline assessments covering regular and premium CBOB. The conversation looks at why El Paso's role is growing as Gulf Coast supply moves west, California refinery capacity tightens, Arizona seeks more secure inland routes and Mexico remains a major outlet for US gasoline exports.

Robert Horry is back at his mom's house for the week, which means the guys start with fried catfish, La Spata's subs, and why Hardee's steak biscuits are undefeated — before getting into the biggest story of the NBA offseason. LeBron James is headed to Philadelphia on a deal that pays him a fraction of what he's made in years past, and Horry, Jenners, and B-Dawg break down what that actually means for the Sixers. They get into the point guard experiment, whether Tyrese Maxey's game gets hurt by it, who's playing the three now that KCP and V.J. Edgecomb are both in the mix, and why Horry has real concerns about the helicopter commute rumors after what happened to Kobe. From there it turns into a full GOAT conversation. Horry explains why he judges players by their weaknesses instead of their strengths, makes the case for Kobe belonging in the same breath as Jordan and LeBron, and lays out what it would actually mean for LeBron's legacy if he wins a title in Philly. The guys also grade the Sixers' defense, run through Draymond re-signing with the Warriors, and catch everyone up on the East, which is suddenly loaded. Plus: the wildest stat of the week (a Miami football transfer quarterback is about to out-earn LeBron, Caitlin Clark, and Shohei Ohtani combined), a debate over people calling the NBA the "MNBA," Big Shot of the Week honoring a firefighter who pulled three kids out of a capsized boat, and Rapid Fire makes its return. Richard Carapaz produced a stunning ride to win the Tour de France's ultimate queen stage on Alpe d'Huez, completing a brilliant final week by taking his second victory of the race and sealing the polka-dot jersey. But the Ecuadorian's triumph came after a dramatic finale, with Sepp Kuss looking destined for a famous stage win before crashing twice on the descent into the finish and seeing his hopes disappear. We break down a brutal day in the Alps, from the huge 5,600 metres of climbing to the battle for the breakaway, as Kuss, Carapaz, Jai Hindley and others fought for the stage victory on the final climbs. After Kuss' heartbreak, Carapaz seized the opportunity and powered clear to claim a memorable win on one of the Tour's most iconic climbs. Mads Pedersen once again showed his trademark panache, fighting his way into the breakaway and securing the points needed to all but seal the green jersey. The Dane's willingness to attack even on the toughest mountain stages underlined one of the most impressive points-classification rides in recent Tour history. Behind, Tadej Pogačar swapped his usual attacking role for that of super-domestique, setting the pace on the Galibier and the final climbs to protect UAE Team Emirates-XRG teammate Isaac Del Toro's third place on GC. The yellow jersey sacrificed his own ambitions of another stage win to help his teammate, creating one of the most fascinating moments of the race. We also discuss Paul Seixas' superb ride to defend fourth place overall, the French teenager continuing to announce himself as one of cycling's brightest future stars, while Remco Evenepoel launched a late move in search of victory and strengthened his grip on second place. Ned Boulting and Lizzie Deignan Breakdown Stage 20 of the Tour de France 2026.

Join us as Du'An digs into the real mechanics of running AI locally and in production - from GPU memory math to multi-agent architectures, observability, and the economics of self-hosted inference. Du'An walks through how model weights and KV cache compete for GPU memory, why continuous batching matters when you have more than a handful of users, and how agent architectures like single-agent, workflow, graph, swarm, and supervisor patterns each solve different problems. You will learn how to instrument your agents with Langfuse for observability and cost tracking, when to use Ollama versus vLLM, how prompt caching can cut provider costs by up to 75%, and why GPUs should never sit idle. Episode two of three - the next episode covers deploying at scale. Sana Learning is a revolutionary product in the $400 Billion L&D market. Today I sat down with Rita Azevedo, Director of Client Engagement at Sana, to talk about everything. What is AI-native learning, how does Sana Learning fit into Workday's strategy, and how do companies like Polestar, Rolls Royce, Travelers, and others revolutionize L&D with Sana. And most of important of all, we get Rita's perspective on the reinvention of L&D, which we call “Dynamic Enablement for Growth.” As you'll hear, AI-native learning platforms like Sana can totally transform training teams, turning them into “business enablement” functions working directly in the business. We discuss how Polestar has done this in detail. Rita is an experienced L&D leader (having lead training at Klarna) and has worked at Sana since the company had only 30 employees, so she has a wealth of knowledge and experience in AI transformation in L&D. PS: We are customers of Sana (Galileo Learn is built on Sana, and our new Global HR Excellence Certification is built on Sana), so we can speak to its features in detail if you're interested. Most founders think they're ahead of the curve because they're using AI. But if you're only using it for basic ad copy and product descriptions and wondering why it sounds like everything else on the internet — you're not using AI. You're scratching the surface of it. Here's the problem: the advantage was never just having access to the tools. It's knowing how to direct them at scale. And right now, the brands pulling ahead aren't adding more headcount — they're finding one person who can build autonomous agents across the entire business. In this episode, I share why I think the AI operator might be the most important hire an e-commerce brand can make right now, what I'm seeing inside Foundr and our members' businesses, and exactly where to start if you want to bring this into your operation today. Here's what you'll take away: Why using AI for basic tasks is actually holding your brand back — and what the next level looks like What an AI operator actually does, and how one person can touch ads, email, design, customer support, and data analysis simultaneously The difference between using AI tools and building AI systems — and why that gap is where brands are winning or losing How to find an AI operator today using Upwork, even if you've never hired for this kind of role before Why the businesses that win won't just be the ones using AI — they'll be the ones with autonomous agents owning outcomes If you're still thinking about AI as a content shortcut rather than a business multiplier, this episode will completely reframe how you approach your next hire — and what's actually possible with the right person directing it.
