“Now the ‘Right Mind,” I love that terminology, because you say “Are you in your right mind?' Because sometimes when we're in our left brain, we get very war conscious, and if we just chill, step back, let go a little bit, we can pop into our right mind, which is multidimensional, love conscious. ‘Oh, let's comprehend something here before we jump to conclusions.'”Dr. Teri Baydar is a leadership development consultant, executive coach, and personal development expert who educates and supports C-suites and high achievers towards their personal path of self-actualizing growth for the greater good. The speaker presents channelled information from a spiritual guide (William Thomas) on how we might empower ourselves to live healthier and happier lives and so combat the stresses associated with modern living. These insights indicate that we must examine the relationship between mind and body, recognise the power of positive thought, imagination and visualisation and understand that we need to achieve stillness to help us balance our emotions. We also welcome guest host Alex Vogt (owner, Awry Brewing). Danielle Becker has a degree in graphic design and had a successful career in the fashion district of New York City, designing for brands like Hanes and Aeropostale and then as an Art Director at Macy's and Bloomingdales. But in 2017 Danielle left to pursue her own dream gig. Her business, Lefty's Right Mind, was initially graphic design focused and then the “Aha!” moment came when a friend asked her to hand paint her bridesmaid's denim jackets for her wedding. The custom jacket concept catapulted her young company and soon she had customers asking her to paint all sorts of designer goods. Danielle's craftsmanship skills are still her differentiator and Lefty's Right Mind is experiencing year-after-year success in the bespoke, hand crafted market! Hateful comments on the Internet are nothing new. But there's one special place where it's not only tolerated, but highly encouraged. r/RoastMe is a 3 million-strong subreddit where people ask to be verbally obliterated by Internet strangers. Commenters can be as hateful, racist, and misogynistic as they please, as long as they follow the golden rule: It has to be funny. So who would open themselves up to something like this, and why? This is the second part of a three part series on Healing Brokenness. This series examines 3 broken people and the effect it had on them and their families. But more importantly, how Jesus dealt with them and how he can deal with us. Last week, it was about a broken child that was possessed by Satan and could not speak. This week Jesus went across the Sea of Galilee and entered a gentile region and met a man that was naked, chained and out of his mind, living in a tomb. No one could help him except Jesus. A transformation occurred in his life so much so that it scared those around him. Jesus took his brokenness and made it beautiful. As we encounter Jesus and become transformed, it can alarm those around us to see the change.

Jesus cared so much about the Gadarene's mind that in Mark 5 He immediately addressed his mind issue. Jesus could have dealt with the many things the man was doing according to Mark, but Jesus went right in and tackled the battle in his mind. In fact, when Jesus got out of the boat it was one of his first actions into ministry, casting out the legion and dealing with mind battles. The bigger question is, what did you expect? This is less of a story of dog bites man than man bites dog. Feeling like just a continuation of the day prior, David is dumbfounded with the scams and greed that happen during the holidays. Met with less than wonderful and lasting final impression of Italy, he is frustrated by how current laws open the door to allowing companies to treat their customers like shit. A strong warning to avoid Ryanair. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/red-kite-movement/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/red-kite-movement/support
