This episode of Across The Margin : The Podcast features an interview with Bill Morrison who has been called the poet laureate of lost films (New York Times, 9/21/2021), as he often makes films that re-frame long-forgotten moving images. He has premiered feature-length documentary films at the New York, Sundance, Telluride and Venice film festivals. In 2021 Morrison became a member of the documentary branch of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. His found footage opus Decasia (2002) was the first film of the 21st century to be named to the Library of Congress' National Film Registry. Dawson City: Frozen Time (2016) was included on over 100 critics' lists of the best films of the year and was later listed as one of the best films of its decade by the Associated Press, Los Angeles Times, and Vanity Fair, among others. His most recent film, Incident (2023) won the Best Short Film Award from International Documentary Association in 2023, the Cinema Eye Honors for Outstanding Nonfiction Short, and was nominated for an Academy Award in Documentary Short in 2025. His film, The Great Flood (2013) — the focus of this episode — was recognized with the Smithsonian Ingenuity Award for historical scholarship. The Mississippi River Flood of 1927 was the most destructive river flood in American history. In the spring of 1927, the river broke out of its banks in 145 places and inundated 27,000 square miles to a depth of up to 30 feet. Part of its enduring legacy was the mass exodus of displaced sharecroppers. Musically, the “Great Migration” of rural southern blacks to Northern cities saw the Delta Blues electrified and reinterpreted as the Chicago Blues, Rhythm and Blues, and Rock and Roll. Using minimal text and no spoken dialog, filmmaker Bill Morrison and composer / guitarist Bill Frisell have created with The Great Flood a powerful portrait of a seminal moment in American history through a collection of silent images matched to a searing original soundtrack. Darius J. Wright has been leaving his body virtually every night since he was 16, and what he's seen is rewriting everything we think we know about reality, the soul, and what's coming next for humanity. In this episode, Darius walks Aubrey through the near-death experience that changed his life, his encounter with a being named Celeste who showed him the future, and the verified, on-camera experiments that prove out-of-body experiences are real. He breaks down the 12 heavens and 13th container that make up our universe, the 13-strand DNA dormant inside every human, the true purpose of the pyramids as stargates, and the suppressed history of Atlantis, giants, angels, and the galactic wars. Most importantly, Darius shares the prophetic vision he received at 16, one that has already predicted the Epstein files, mass global protest, and the coming "Great Revealing" of free energy, suppressed technology, and a financially free humanity. He explains why fear is the only prison the soul has ever known, how to dismantle it, and why love (not magic, not medicine, not ritual) is the master key to everything. If you've ever felt that this reality is not all there is, this conversation is your map.We discuss: – The 16-year-old NDE that opened the door – How to use sleep paralysis as a gateway to OBE – The verified whiteboard experiments proving consciousness leaves the body – The 12 heavens, the 13th container, and the architecture of "the construct" – 13-strand DNA and dormant brain structures – Why the soul cannot be touched, harmed, or imprisoned – Pyramids, the Halls of Amenti, and Antarctica's hidden tech – Giants, dragons, angels, and the Great Flood reset – Tesla's 369, baptism, and DNA reprogramming – The "Great Revealing": free energy, replicators, and galactic disclosure – The life review, the regrettable, and what we take with us – How to find your authentic self in a single question| Darius J Wright | ►Website | https://dariusjwright.com/YouTube | ►https://www.youtube.com/@dariusjwright| Aubrey Marcus |► Fit For Service: https://fitforservice.com/► Own The Day, Own Your Life: http://bit.ly/2vRz4so► Aubrey Marcus Podcast: https://apple.co/2ns8zFP► Ayahuasca Documentary: http://bit.ly/2OrNBTf► Get 10% off all Onnit Products: https://bit.ly/3LMVArK►Aubrey Marcus Poetry: http://bit.ly/2My1ezC►Aubrey Marcus Binaural Beats: http://bit.ly/2vVc3EC| Listen to the Aubrey Marcus Podcast |►iTunes | https://apple.co/2lMZRCn►Spotify | https://spoti.fi/2EaELZO►Stitcher | http://bit.ly/2G8ccJt►IHeartRadio | https://ihr.fm/3CiV4x3►Google Podcasts | https://bit.ly/3nzCJEh►Android | https://bit.ly/2OQeBQg| Connect with Aubrey |►Website | http://bit.ly/2GesYqi►Instagram | http://bit.ly/2BlfCEO►Facebook | http://bit.ly/2F4nBZk►Twitter | http://bit.ly/2BlGBAdAd

Birds sent out. A new beginning marked by sacrifice. These aren't random details. They are consistent threads woven through history, pointing back to the same event. What if the "ancient world" wasn't a primitive era of cavemen, but a sophisticated, global civilization that rivaled—or maybe even exceeded—our own? In today's episode, we dive into the 1,656-year gap between Adam and the Great Flood—a span of time equal to the distance between the Fall of Rome and the invention of the internet. We're asking the heavy questions the text leaves behind: Such as the mystery of the Nephilim. Who were the "Sons of God," and how did their union with human women create a race of legendary "men of renown"? The Gift of Time: How would society change if you lived for 900 years? Would you become a master of dozens of trades, or would a few "ancients" simply hoard all the world's wealth and power? The Greenhouse Earth: Imagine a world with no seasons, no polar ice caps, and no rain—where a single supercontinent allowed you to walk to any corner of the globe. The Dark Side of Progress: How did a world with a single language and advanced industry descend into a state of "total war" and absolute spiritual depravity? The Bible says that as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Are we seeing the shadows of that pre-Flood world in our headlines today? Join us as we explore the "world that was" and the warning it holds for the world that is.

We start where a lot of us started: Catholic households, rosarios every night, and being shut down every time we asked "but why?" From there the conversation goes places we didn't expect — and we couldn't stop it even if we tried. IN THIS EPISODE: → Growing up Catholic and being told never to question your faith → Why Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all technically confirming each other — and still at war → The slave Bible: how they removed every part about freedom before handing it to enslaved people → Jesus's missing 20 years — and the theory that he traveled to India and studied Buddhism → The Anunnaki, Planet Nibiru, and whether ancient religions are actually alien origin stories → Atlantis, the Great Flood, and the giants who may have built the megalithic structures we can't explain → How religion has always been used as a political tool — and still is today → Where we all personally landed: spiritual, not religious → And why without wisdom — you're just a puppet GUEST: Ernie Lima TikTok: @ernie.lima Instagram: @philosofil.bear YouTube: @ernie.lima CONNECT WITH US:

The biggest lie of them all, both literally and figuratively, is the coverup of the existence of giants. Primary sources such as the Bible (heard of it?) speak of a race called the Nephilim. These larger-than-life offspring of angels and human women have been depicted in documentaries such as NOAH by Darren Aronofsky. Nephilim were said to have been destroyed in the Great Flood, but a race of giant people supposedly persisted on Earth into contemporary times. If this news comes as a surprise to you, there is one group to blame: the evil Smithsonian Institution, whose alleged purpose is to destroy the remains of giant skeletons so the lie of evolution can persist. Fortunately, some brave souls like the creator of A RACE OF GIANTS boldly proclaim this history and were able to sneak it past the censors. The documentary teaches us a few things: 1) that throughout North America, the bones of giant humans and even fossilized remains of their giant tools (pause) have been found and then lost through a series of unfortunate coincidences or outright archaeological malice; 2) that the legend of Big Guys has existed in many ancient cultures for a reason, because sometimes guys are really tall; and 3) that certain findings, such as the famous Guadalupe Woman skeleton embedded in rock formations inappropriate for the generally accepted carbon dating of Earth, supposedly go as far as to disprove the very concept of evolution. Without coming across as overtly Christian, A RACE OF GIANTS makes the case for the young earth creationism described by the Old Testament in a compelling, albeit confusing and roundabout way. We couldn't wait to dive into Netflix's latest blockbuster The Great Flood, but it didn't take long for our excitement to turn into pure frustration. While the movie starts as a high-stakes survival thriller, the constant screaming from the child character, Ja-in, makes it nearly impossible to stay immersed in the tension. However, the real "disconnect" happens exactly one hour in, when the film ditches its disaster roots for a bizarre, convoluted sci-fi simulation twist that left us wondering if we were even watching the same movie. In this Flix and Giggles breakdown, Basil and Keo deconstruct the "Emotion Engine" mess, the technical failures of the script, and why this South Korean sci-fi experiment ultimately drowned under its own ambition.

Morning Worship sermon with Rev. Bud Hance Scripture reference Romans 1:18-23 God's Wrath On Unrighteousness 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

In this powerful message, Servant Marcia Carty explores the biblical and extra-biblical accounts of the days of Noah to warn modern believers about the dangers of rebellion. By connecting the wisdom of Proverbs to the historical accounts in Genesis and the Book of Enoch, she illustrates how the "fear of the Lord" serves as the essential foundation for spiritual survival. The teaching delves into the fallen state of the Watchers—celestial beings who abandoned their post—and how their descent into perversion mirrors the current state of our world. -- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge and the only safeguard against the enticements of those who "lurk privately for the innocent." -- The history of the Watchers and the Grigori shows how even spiritual beings can fall into perversion when they deviate from God's divine principles. -- The Nephilim and the "spirits of the giants" explain the origins of unclean spirits and the corruption that led to the Great Flood. -- Like Nebuchadnezzar, many today fall into the trap of pride, forgetting that the Most High has sovereignty over the kingdoms of mortals. -- Abraham's petition for Sodom and Gomorrah proves that God is willing to spare much for the sake of a few righteous individuals. -- The ultimate goal for the believer is to remain focused and strive to be among "the elect" as the world grows increasingly wicked. Scriptures for Further Study -- Proverbs 1:7-31 -- Genesis 6:1-4 -- Genesis 11 -- Genesis 18:14-32 -- Daniel 4 -- Jude 1:14-15 -- Deuteronomy 1:25-28 +++++++ We have begun building a new website which you can see here: https://www.noahdays.org/

Newcastle upon Tyne is famous for many things: its bridges, nightlife, and being the birthplace of Greggs are just some of them. We've seen plenty of world firsts here, been on the frontline of science and technology, witnessed ethical consumption in the 18th century, and turned a Roman settlement into a city. But our disasters are perhaps less well-known. Newcastle has suffered from plague, fire, flood, and cholera - among other things. Why don't we hear about these as often, if at all? Let's explore the Great Plague of 1636, the Great Flood of 1771, and the Great Fire of 1854 to see what they can tell us about the city we can encounter here in the 2020s in this week's episode of Fabulous Folklore. 288# Before the Waters Rise | Ancient Floods and Modern Warning SignsAcross continents, cultures, and thousands of years, humanity has told the same story: that the world was once destroyed by water, civilisation wiped away, and life forced to begin again. Tonight, we investigate the Great Flood — not as a single religious tale, but as a global human memory. Why do civilisations that never met tell the same story? Were these myths inspired by real catastrophic floods, lost coastlines, or something even older? And if the world really did drown once… what survived?

The historiographical studies developed by Ruth Rodríguez Sotomayor, agraduate librarian of the University of Guayaquil, researcher at the HistoricalArchive of Guayas, and lecturer, are extraordinary. Her studies go beyond the limits of traditional historiography, or rather, they transcend the boundaries of the orthodox history, as Ruth Rodríguez Sotomayor rescues and exposes, through the study of symbols, the arts, sciences, and philology, of an almost unknown past of the Americas. And to speak of the Americas is to speak of the continent of civilizing godswhose traces are today silent vestiges of the original Golden Age.Certainly, Rodríguez Sotomayor's work opposes the aforementionedorthodox or “official” version, and thus, consequently, becomes a revolutionaryproposal. One of the most important fields of her studies is the prefiguration of theorigin of mankind in South America and the spread of its civilization to othercontinents. They are therefore connected to the essential works of distinguishedresearchers such as the multidisciplinary Francisco P. Moreno, the philologist andethnologist Emeterio Villamil de Rada, and the archaeologist Roberto Rengifo, since Rodríguez Sotomayor recognizes in America –or Pre-America as she aptlysheds light on it, that is, the America before the known America– as the nucleusfrom which the civilizing group emerged, migrating, projecting, and settling indifferent centers of the globe, expanding its civilization.Rafael Videla Eissmann (Chile, 1979) is a historian graduated from UniversidadCatólica de Chile. The first Moomins story about a family of nature-loving white round trolls was published in 1945 during World War Two. The Moomins and the Great Flood was created by writer and artist Tove Jansson as a source of comfort during bleak times. It highlighted the struggles of those who'd been displaced by war introducing readers into the lives of Moomintroll, Moominmamma and Moominpappa. Tove's tales and illustrations, featuring the cuddly creatures with smooth round snouts, are loved the world over and have been published in more than 60 languages. She was born in Finland but her first language was Swedish, which the original Moomins books were published in. Tove's niece Sophia Jansson, speaks to Reena Stanton-Sharma about growing up in a family surrounded by creativity and nature. Eye-witness accounts brought to life by archive. Witness History is for those fascinated by the past. We take you to the events that have shaped our world through the eyes of the people who were there. For nine minutes every day, we take you back in time and all over the world, to examine wars, coups, scientific discoveries, cultural moments and much more. Recent episodes explore everything from the death of Adolf Hitler, the first spacewalk and the making of the movie Jaws, to celebrity tortoise Lonesome George, the Kobe earthquake and the invention of superglue. We look at the lives of some of the most famous leaders, artists, scientists and personalities in history, including: Eva Peron – Argentina's Evita; President Ronald Reagan and his famous ‘tear down this wall' speech; Thomas Keneally on why he wrote Schindler's List; and Jacques Derrida, France's ‘rock star' philosopher. You can learn all about fascinating and surprising stories, such as the civil rights swimming protest; the disastrous D-Day rehearsal; and the death of one of the world's oldest languages.(Photo: Tove Jansson in 1988.
