Send us Fan MailWe sit down with Michelle for an honest and encouraging conversation about what it looks like to find peace with food after decades of dieting, striving, and struggling with body image. Michelle shares how she first discovered Thin Within (later Revelation Within), walked away when things seemed “good,” and eventually returned when her efforts to control food began to unravel. Together, we explore spirit-led eating, the difference between restriction and freedom, and why grace—not willpower—is at the heart of lasting change. Michelle also vulnerably shares about early image pressure, trauma, and using food as comfort, and how she is learning to let Jesus meet her in those tender places without condemnation. We also get practical as Michelle shares the mind-renewal tools she uses in everyday life, including the simple question, “What is true, God?” We talk about using Scripture to challenge lies like “I'm no good” and “I have to fix this to be okay,” while discovering how a secure identity in Christ affects not only our relationship with food and our bodies, but also fear of man, conflict, disappointment, and anxiety. If you're longing for Christian eating freedom, healing from diet culture, or a calmer relationship with food and your body, we hope Michelle's story gives you both encouragement and a next step toward experiencing God's grace right in the middle of everyday life.Support the showLearn more about our Revelation Within Community: https://www.revelationwithin.org

Send us Fan MailFollow Elana on Instagram @elanavdeventerSome stories are not for scrolling past. This one belongs to Elana van Deventer. She had a serious brain injury at four years old. She had to learn to walk again and speak again. She forgot the whole thing until her sister reminded her years later, but her mind never forgot the beliefs it built around it.School labeled her learning disabled. In grade eight her math teacher told her she was stupid and would get nowhere. She says the hardest part was not the insult. It was that he only said out loud what she already believed. So she found her worth somewhere else. In South Africa she became the pretty one. Photo shoots, invitations, and finally a modeling contract. She thought she had made it.Then her family immigrated to a tiny town in Northwest Ontario, and the first winter hit minus fifty. No events. No photo shoots. No identity. She fell into a deep depression and became suicidal, and she blamed her husband for taking everything from her. Then COVID made the world go quiet. She calls that season the soil. There was nothing left to strive for, so God took her all the way down to the root and started over. Out of that she built her own work, the Revive Method, around identity alignment. The picture she used before she knew anything about the science was a tree. There is a line in this episode worth writing down. There is a difference between the journey and the decision. The journey being hard does not mean the decision was wrong. The turn comes later. She got an email from Dr. Caroline Leaf's office and deleted it. When the second one came announcing the first round of neurocycle facilitator training, she applied with her eyes closed and hit send scared. She was accepted. She had never read one of Leaf's books. Today the girl who was told she was stupid at math sits in the room helping build Leaf's new strategist offer. She also talks about why sixty three days changed her life when twenty one never did, and why knowledge without mind renewal stays knowledge forever.Find Elana on Instagram at elanavdeventer. This is The Calling Table Sessions on the Stuck No More Voices Podcast. The world constantly shapes how we think about success, identity, career, and what we should pursue, which can make it difficult to recognize what God has created us to do. As we intentionally allow the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to transform our thinking, we become increasingly able to discern God's will for our lives. Purpose is already planted deep within us, but it takes spiritual maturity and intentional effort to draw it out. The more our thinking aligns with God's thinking, the clearer His purpose for our lives becomes. __________ Romans 12:2 NLT, Proverbs 20:5 KJV __________ Partner with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com/partner Connect with Us: https://churchforentrepreneurs.com __________

She is a pastor, a mentor, a psychology major, and a facilitator certified in the mind renewal work of Dr. Caroline Leaf.Yara married a pastor and served beside him. Seven years in, he was diagnosed with cancer. After he passed, she kept going because God told her to keep going. Then came a church split, two small children, clinical depression, and a diagnosis she had carried since childhood without a name for it.She says the church split grieved her harder than the funeral. In this conversation she talks about doing the hard work of healing instead of waiting for someone to do it for you. She talks about raising two kids alone while still carrying a call. She talks about the moment she learned that renewing the mind is not a phrase you repeat. It is work you do.Then we turn toward business. Yara talks about what happens when a woman moves from serving for free to charging for her gift. Know your value. Set healthy boundaries. Just because you can give it does not mean you should. She says the people who received her work for free were the ones who never got results. She closes with a picture you will carry all week. Discover how the miraculous connection between your mind and brain can transform your mental, emotional, and spiritual life. In this powerful follow-up conversation, Julie Davies returns to unpack the practical side of renewing your mind — and how scripture and neuroscience work hand in hand to bring real, lasting healing. If you've ever wondered how simply changing your thoughts could actually change your brain, this episode will show you it's not just possible — it's biblical, and now science is catching up. You'll discover: How neuroplasticity allows your brain to form new pathways when you consistently practice healthy, truth-filled thinking Why the "fork in the road" between dwelling on what's good versus what's negative literally shapes the neural trenches your mind travels down The difference between coping in a season of true mental illness versus practicing daily mind-renewal once healing has begun A treasury of practical "mind exercises" — from taking thoughts captive and scripture affirmations to gratitude, savoring, deep breathing, and training your eyes to look for good A glimpse into Julie's own daily rhythms of prayer, worship, journaling, and rest that keep her mind anchored in peace For anyone who feels like "renew your mind" is a vague, overwhelming idea, this episode breaks it down into simple, doable exercises you can start today. You'll walk away with concrete tools to quiet anxious thoughts, replace shame with truth, and build a mind that reflects the peace, hope, and freedom God designed for you. Perfect for women who want practical, faith-filled strategies for their mental health journey, and anyone ready to move from surviving to truly renewing their mind day by day. Send us a textWhat if peace with food doesn't start with more rules but with a renewed mind and reordered love? In this episode, we sit on the porch and wrestle with a question many of us face: does focusing on mind renewal mean we get a free pass to eat anything, anytime? As we unpack Romans 12:2, Galatians 5:13, and Colossians 2, we talk about how real freedom grows—not from control or indulgence—but from connection. Together, we explore how intimacy with God reshapes our desires, how gratitude replaces shame, and how caring for our bodies can flow from wisdom instead of fear or striving. We also bring this conversation down to earth—addressing diets, GLP-1 medications, and surgery without shame or judgment. No matter the path, the real invitation is to pause and ask, “God, what are Your thoughts about this for me?” With simple tools like a breath prayer—inhale, “Jesus, I want to know You,” exhale, “more than I want control”—we make space for Spirit-led choices that last. Together, we share how God does the lasting work as we choose new thought patterns and take a gentler, steadier path toward freedom. We also get very practical. We walk through identifying the thought before the craving, uncovering the belief behind the action, and using tools that meet real-life triggers like stress, comparison, or tough relationships. From the God List and quick Praise Fests to personalizing Scripture and using a Truth List, we show how to create new mental grooves that stick. In this episode, Kathy DeGraw sits down with author and speaker Jareb Nott for an in-depth discussion on biblical meditation, healing through the presence of God, and the science behind supernatural transformation. If you've struggled with chronic illness, mental battles, or hearing God clearly, this conversation will shift your thinking and restore your hope. Jareb shares his personal testimony of being medically healed from type 2 diabetes—not through prescriptions or procedures, but through entering the presence of God, renewing his mind, and engaging in intentional, biblical meditation. Backed by both Scripture and scientific research from institutions like Harvard and Stanford, Jareb reveals how the way we think can literally transform our body, mind, and spiritual connection with God. In this conversation, you'll learn:  What true biblical meditation is—and why the enemy has worked to counterfeit it  How thoughts are physical particles that carry weight and release measurable light  The science of how your thoughts impact your health, healing, and cellular makeup  How to enter a meditative state in the middle of life's chaos  Why imagination, visualization, and childlike faith are critical to breakthrough  How to hear the voice of God and let Him reprogram your thoughts from fear to faith This is more than a conversation about healing—it's a practical guide to developing a lifestyle that partners with the Holy Spirit for mental clarity, emotional peace, and physical restoration. Jareb explains how our thoughts produce light in the body, how to engage divine stillness without striving, and why meditative practices like breathwork and visualization are fully rooted in biblical principles. Whether you're navigating a health diagnosis, struggling to maintain peace, or simply desiring to encounter God's presence more deeply, this episode will equip you with spiritual and practical tools for transformation.   Connect with Kathy on her website at https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/   Purchase Kathy's new book at: https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/healed-at-last/   Receive Free Prayer: https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/declarations-download/   Purchase Kingdom Scents anointing oil at:https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/anointing-oils/  or on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Kingdom+Scents&ref=bl_dp_s_web_0   Kathy's Deliverance and Kingdom Development intense mentoring and e-courses: https://www.kathydegrawministries.org/training/    Subscribe to Kathy's podcast on Apple or Spotify    Podcast title – Prophetic Spiritual Warfare | Kathy DeGraw   Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kathydegraw/   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kathydegraw/ Please donate and partner with us to impact lives! In the eighth episode of "Christian Meditation," Brother Duane teaches the transformative power of Christian meditation and mind renewal. Romans 12:2 encourages us not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by renewing our minds. Like metamorphosis, this process takes time, similar to a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. Just as the butterfly's wings emerge from within, our Christ-likeness reflects our renewed inner selves. This transformation enables us to function in both the natural and spiritual realms, demonstrating God's good, acceptable, and perfect will. As we meditate on God's Word, we are not merely memorizing scripture but allowing it to reshape our thoughts, emotions, and perceptions.

Send us a textHave you ever beaten yourself up after failing, believing harsh self-criticism would lead to positive change? The "Look and Learn" tool is meant for mind renewal, yet many have turned it into another form of self-punishment. Instead of viewing failure through a lens of shame, Scripture invites us to embrace God's grace. Romans 8:1 reminds us there is no condemnation for those in Christ, and Psalm 103:12 assures us that our transgressions are removed as far as the east is from the west. God isn't standing at a distance in disappointment—He draws near with compassion and restoration. When practiced as intended, Look and Learn becomes grace in motion, strengthening intimacy with God rather than pushing Him away. It shifts our perspective from self-rejection to redemption, helping us replace lies with life-giving truth. Every failure becomes a seed for growth, ensuring nothing is wasted in God's economy. Instead of running to condemnation, run to grace. Ask what God wants to reveal, and let this powerful tool guide you into freedom, intimacy, and transformation. Today, on Karl and Crew, we took an inward approach as we kicked off our weekly theme of "Mindset" with a discussion on mind renewal. As followers of Jesus, our minds are renewed as we draw nearer to Him because we shed our worldly thought processes to have Spirit-led thoughts. This transformation is necessary for believers because it allows us to mentally align with God’s will. We learned in Romans 12:2 that the Lord doesn’t want us to conform to the world but to be set apart, and to do this; we have to get rid of those ungodly thoughts. One of our guests, Asheritah Ciuciu, shared with us how she cast down those thoughts and replaced them with the delight of the Lord. Asheritah founded One Thing Alone Ministries and has authored several books, including “Delighting in Jesus- Rhythms to Restore Joy When You Feel Burdened, Broken, or Burned-Out.” Pastor Dr. Erwin Lutzer also shared insight on shifting our thinking to biblical thoughts. Pastor Lutzer is an award-winning author of numerous books, pastor, and speaker. He also is a featured speaker on two radio programs with Moody Church Media. Christian meditation involves developing a personal connection with God's word, transforming how you think and live. Christian meditation is essential for renewing our minds. Duane Sheriff teaches that there is a difference between simply memorizing scripture and genuinely allowing it to renew your mind through meditation.Mind renewal isn't about trying harder; it's about allowing God to transform you in the secret place of your heart. The secret place is where you commune with God, shutting out the world's noise and worries and creating a space for His love and transformation. In this sacred space, you learn to ponder, visualize, and reflect on His words, letting them sink deep into your heart. This message connects the old and new covenants by explaining how God wrote the Ten Commandments with His finger on stone tablets in Exodus. Similarly, God writes His laws on our minds and hearts in the New Covenant. When we meditate on God's Word, we allow Him to renew our minds from within, aligning our thoughts and emotions with His will.

The Second Phase Podcast - Personal Branding & Brand Marketing and Life Strategies for Success for Female Entrepreneurs

A famous phrase often heard is "Your words matter." Whether you realize it or not, your words and thoughts profoundly impact your life. Your words and thoughts shape your life experiences and even your physical health. So, this revolutionary concept is that humans can alter their brain's physical structure by changing negative thought patterns and eliminating trauma. This transformation to heal the mind and heal the body is not a solitary act but a cooperative effort with Christ and the Holy Spirit. Science and Scripture: Converging Paths Scripture states that humans are created in Christ's image and embody both a soul and a spirit. The body is viewed as an exterior part, where true healing starts from within, specifically through the soul and spirit, by fostering a relationship with God. This is a belief that traditional science is finally catching up and proving these scriptural assertions. Mind Renewal and Healing Changing the way you perceive yourself is crucial. Identity in Christ becomes a cornerstone in this transformative journey as you focus on healing the mind and the body. One's beliefs empower thoughts and influence emotions and actions, ultimately defining outcomes. Here are some practical methods to reverse negative thought patterns, enhance your mental and physical health, and wear the armor of God in your daily life.   Read the full show notes and access all links.    Website for Connie Strasheim Connie's Book, Guard The Mind, Mend the Body
