It's a shame it's taken 46 episodes to get to the magical golden stache of Franco Nero, but ya know what? I'm glad we waited. We got the great Lee Russell on the show to discuss Franco Nero in the 1974 poliziotteschi film, Street Law. Stick around for the Moutachioed-Pee-Pee Break. Dr. Snuggles and friends return for episode 70 of your guide to the truly astonishing world of softcore films, and the world’s number one podcast on that subject! A while ago, our good buddy Lee from They Must Be Destroyed On Sight! podcast called our voicemail line (a thing you should do too) and said, hey, you should really do a Christine Nguyen film! Goddamn, we said, that’s a good point - how have we gone 2 and a half years without a movie featuring the legendary Christine Nguyen?! The next question was which one to do, although that turned out to be somewhat simple: clearly we had to do Fred Olen Ray’s 2006 spooky sorta musical Ghost in a Teeny Bikini. It’s got songs (three songs), spooky happenings, some truly brilliant dialogue, and some career defining performances from the likes of Brad Bartram and Voodoo. Plus, we look at scene stealer, owner of truly gigantic boots and one of the reasons Fred even attempted a spooky musical softcore comedy, the amazing Evan Stone. Stone’s life story has to be heard to be believed: there’s Frisbee golf, knee injuries, dinner theatre with a white Andalusian stallion named Dartanian, and approximately 2,000 hardcore scenes. And it all starts with Evan performing the role of Anne Frank in high school. Hey, why not call us on our hotline? (724) 246-4669! Dr. Snuggles and friends return for episode 63 of your guide to the truly astonishing world of softcore films, and the world’s number one podcast on that subject! We’ve reached the final installment of the Embrace the Darkness trilogy already. Part II was one of the best movies we’ve done in a long time (according to everyone other than Jimmy Ether, at least). Will Part III get the same kind of amazing reception? We’ve got two guests - Lee Russell from They Must Be Destroyed On Sight! podcast and film composer/musician Timothy Fife - to help us work that out. It goes in some weird directions, let’s just say that. This time, Jennifer has to decide between a romance with a mortal journalist, and one with a 200 year old vampire named Victor who wants to make her the Queen of the Vampires. What will she choose? The answer will - quite honestly - surprise you. That said, the big surprise is also the most disappointing thing about the film - fan favourite vampiric weirdo Jack is written out of the film very early on. RIP Jack. Your bizarre line delivery will never be forgotten. Out-acting the heck out of practically everyone in this movie is the always delightful Tiffany Shepis. Naturally, we focus on her life and career in our Spotlight, which is handy because it turns out Lee is a SUPER FAN. She’s well on her way to 150 credits on IMDB, and she’s only just hit 40. And it’s worth noting that at least a handful of those credits are with friend of the show Rolfe Kanefsky! Hey, why not call us on our hotline? (724) 246-4669! Gary is joined by Lee Russell from They Must Be Destroyed On Sight podcast to dive back into the Cannon vault for two more gems. In Street Smart, Christopher Reeve plays an investigative reporter who is getting a little too far into his story involving a smooth talking pimp played by Morgan Freeman in his first feature film. Then in Superman 4 The Quest For Peace, Reeve puts on the tights and is pitted against Lex Luthor’s Nuclear Man in this farcical, under-budgeted dynamo.
Lee of They Must Be Destroyed On Sight pulls the Movie Stack Jenga pick this week with Night Train To Terror. This pick makes Cort vainly attempt to explain what the hell is actually going on in the film as there seems to be no way to ascertain plot, story, or logic of any kind. As the will to understand rapidly dissolves, the guys abandoned the hope of making the review work and just babble on to pad out the episode with the abuse of clips and the “Dance with me” chorus of “Everybody But You” theme song. Lee and Daniel kick off 2018 with the western/noir "Bad Day at Black Rock" (1955), directed by John Sturges. The boundries Sturges pushes against with the material relative to the time the film was made are discussed, as well as just what an amazing collection of talent is shown on screen. Also covered: a listener comment (sort of) and a lengthy discussion about what they've watched as of late (the actual film review starts about a half hour into the episode). Our next episode will be our best first time movie watches in 2017. Want to contribute? Email your list either via text or an attached .mp3 to houglyreviews@gmail.com ...or leave it on the wall of the They Must Be Destroyed On Sight! Facebook group. "Bad Day at Black Rock" IMDB Featured Music: "Escape" and "Main Title" by André Previn.
Get out your Aqua Net go get stoned with a savage. The beef is back with some new reviews for you. I am sans Jamie and X on this one. I am joined by two very capable folks being Lee Russell from They Must Be Destroyed On Sight and Willis Wheeler of N.F.W. and Two Drink Minimum Commentaries and of course Terror Troop. We cover two films where white folks are messing where they shouldn’t have been messing being the slasher in the snow with Blood Tracks and the Michael Berryman machete wielding, drug infused, Jonestown promoting and Willie Aames loving Cut and Run.
They Must Be Destroyed On Sight! has finally reached 100 official episodes! To celebrate, Lee, Daniel and the returning Paul take a gander at the George Romero classic "Night of the Living Dead" (1968). It's a full-on drunken commentary for the film. While they are not sure if they provided any original insights, the hosts at least had a lot of fun sitting back and chatting about the film. Also, before watching the film, they cover a couple of pieces of listener feedback and talk a bit about what they've most enjoyed about the first 100 episodes, and which were their favourites. For your convenience, you have the option of either listening to the official 100th episode, or you can download the stand-alone commentary track here. Or, if so inclined, you can watch the commentary track put over an existing copy of the film on Youtube here. "Night of the Living Dead" IMDB Featured Music: "Ghouls Night Out" & "Night of the Living Dead" by The Misfits.

We're back! A quick regeneration for one of us, but City of the Dead has returned from its mouldy tomb.
