This month Lee takes a look at music from films about possibly the world's most famous cryptid, the Sasquatch - or as it/they are better known in pop and general culture: Bigfoot. There are just so many films, especially in the last thirty years or so, that the list is focused on the real peak period of interest, the 1970s and 1980s. Even then this list threatened to be much larger than it ended up being, but a lot of the music was impossible to source. Although a lot of traditional Japanese musical elements were used, more often than not, convention was thrown out the window. Forbidden World month starts off with a blaster beam bang as we talk to the film composer, Susan Justin, who also worked on music for several other New World Pictures films like FIRECRACKER, GRUNT! In this episode Josh convinces his partners in horror to hop on a janky bus and ride into the dark depths of the Northern California Redwoods in search of a legendary long lost slasher film. Before the FM3 can prepare themselves, they are lost and being hunted by a feral peach filled killer. Thanks to a blow up raft and some shoe polish the crew is ready for battle and sets a booby trap that kills the vicious predator.
