It took 5 days, but the BMW Championship is finally in the books. (00:35) The weather was so bad in Philadelphia that there was some debate as to whether the final round would even happen at all (12:23). Thankfully for Keegan Bradley it did(25:31) - as he outlasted newly minted world # 1 Justin Rose in a playoff for the victory... his first in 7 years. On the other side of the leaderboard was Jordan Spieth, (6:47) whose 55th place finish means he will miss the Tour Championship for the first time in his career. This week also saw the final captain's picks for the Ryder Cup (38:00) - Tony Finau for the Americans... Paul Casey, Sergio Garcia, Ian Poulter and Henrik Stenson for the Europeans. Brooks Koepka is your US Open Champion! Matt's pick to win takes his second US Open victory in a row, besting Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, and a red hot Sunday performance from FOTP Tommy Fleetwood. There was no shortage of controversy this week with how the USGA set up Shinnecock Hills (0:38)- taking an already brutal golf course to the extreme with unbelievably fast greens and some questionable pin placements. Phil Mickelson ignited a twitter firestorm on Saturday (21:01) hitting a wayward putt - while in motion - incurring a 2 shot penalty. There were hot takes flying from both sides - but ultimately the story was all about Koepka, who proved again why he is so tough to beat - firing a 68 on Sunday and winning his second Major (35:56).
