Listeners of Book Club for Kids that love the show mention: kitty,The Book Club for Kids podcast is an absolute delight for both young readers and adults alike. This podcast provides a wonderful platform for children to discuss and explore middle-grade books in a thoughtful and engaging manner. Hosted by Kitty Felde, the show features a group of elementary or middle school kids who share their thoughts on a book they've read. The conversations are insightful, intelligent, and often go beyond the content of the novels.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the diverse range of books that are featured. Whether it's fantasy, mystery, or contemporary fiction, there is something for every young reader to enjoy. Each episode allows children to hear about new books and authors that they may not have discovered otherwise. Additionally, the interviews with authors provide valuable insights into their writing process and inspiration, which can be incredibly inspiring for budding writers.
Furthermore, the celebrity readers add an extra layer of excitement to each episode. It's wonderful to hear well-known personalities bring these stories to life through their narration. Additionally, the discussions among the young readers offer a glimpse into their personal opinions and experiences, allowing listeners to connect with them on a deeper level.
While it's difficult to find any major flaws in this podcast, one minor downside could be its limited focus on more advanced books or genres. Some listeners may feel that the podcast primarily caters to younger or less experienced readers. However, given its aim of engaging kids in reading and fostering a love for literature, this can also be seen as a strength rather than a weakness.
In conclusion, The Book Club for Kids podcast is an exceptional resource for parents, educators, and young readers themselves. Through insightful discussions and interviews with authors and celebrities alike, this show encourages children to discover new books and explore their own unique perspectives on literature. Not only does it inspire a love for reading but also fosters critical thinking skills and creativity among its audience. Overall, it is an absolute joy to listen to and comes highly recommended for anyone who wants to ignite a passion for books in children.

Myers reacted to the book ban by saying,”I think that most often the people wanting to censor books are well-meaning and concerned about the welfare of their children.
