Scott Mautz joins us to talk about his new book, The Mentally Strong Leader - Build the Habits to Productivity, Regulate Your Emotions, Thoughts, and Behaviors. Quick PSA for the final show- this is my review of his book on Amazon Life changing! Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2024 Generally I am a speed reader but for once, I have had to stop and read and re-read portions of this book to just bask in each of the concepts. This caused me to re-analyze issues I've faced in both my professional and personal life over the years and reconsider my response, in light of Scott Mautz's advice. Sometimes this book has me congratulating myself for certain strengths while also realizing I have room to grow in other areas. You do not have to be in management to benefit from this book. Whether you're a leader at work, in your family, or are trying to gain maturity and mental strength as an individual, you'll find a benefit in reading this book. Self motivation and self help books are everywhere- some make excuses for your behavior, others blame you for your behavior- but this author invites the reader to see where they currently are at in their problem solving skills and find ways to push themselves to mental strength and emotional maturity.
