Send us a textAs women, we've been told that feeling exhausted, bloated, anxious, inflamed, or disconnected from our bodies is just part of life — or worse, something we need to hustle harder to fix.More workouts.More food restriction.More rules.More willpower. But what if being a woman wasn't supposed to feel like a full-time job?In today's episode, I'm having a heart-to-heart conversation with you — the kind you'd have with a close friend — about why so many women feel overwhelmed by their health, and how we can step into the new year with clarity, confidence, and calm instead of pressure and perfection. This episode is about simplifying hormonal health, reconnecting to your body, and choosing alignment over burnout. In this episode, we talk about:•Why women feel overloaded by health advice — and why it's not your fault•How symptoms are messages, not failures•The biggest mistake women make when trying to “fix” their hormones•Why doing less (but doing it intentionally) often leads to better results•How stress, under-fueling, and over-training quietly sabotage hormone balance•What hormone-aligned living actually looks like in real lifeThe 4 Best Gifts You Can Give Your Hormones This Year:1.Consistency over perfection — why small daily habits matter more than extremes2.Nourishment, not restriction — eating to support blood sugar, metabolism, and hormones3.Movement that supports your cycle and life stage — not punishes your body4.Planned rest, joy, and creativity — because your nervous system needs it to healI also share why I'm being incredibly intentional this year about scheduling rest, creativity, and connection first — before life fills the calendar for me — and how you can do the same without guilt.A Special InvitationIf you're craving space to slow down, learn how your hormones actually work, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive, beautiful environment, I'd love to personally invite you to the Mixhers Retreat. This retreat is designed for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, or midlife hormone shifts — especially those who feel stuck, frustrated, or unseen. Every decision comes with risk. The question is: which risk are you willing to tolerate, and why? There's the risk of betting on yourself - going all in, building something that's yours, and seeing what's possible. And there's the risk of going back - spending your days dedicated to someone else's business, constantly wondering if you should actually be working for yourself. Both are risks. But only one of them lets you build something that's truly yours. In this episode, I'm breaking down how to make this decision with clarity. Because here's what I've learned: most people aren't actually choosing between independence and a full-time job. They're hedging. Playing it safe. Saying yes to work that pays the bills but doesn't light them up. Spending time dreaming about the escape hatch back to corporate life.I'm asking you to be honest: have you really given independence the shot it deserves? Or have you been holding back? You don't have to commit your entire life to your business yet. But you do need to give yourself permission to go ALL IN for 12 months. To get the support you actually need. To replace your old salary and build something that's yours. It's time to go all in on your purpose and build a revenue engine to sustain it.If you're ready to stop hedging and start building, join me in my Advanced Mastermind, GROW Independent. This is a cohort of 10 professionals dedicating 1 full year to creating a business aligned to purpose and building the marketing and sales engine to sustain it.The doors are open NOW.Sign up here: https://coachdonohoe.com/grow-independent_________Royalty Free Music from Tunetank.com Track: Urban Legend by Musical Bakery https://tunetank.com/track/3362-urban-legend/
Do you feel like having a full-time job means you can't be all-in on your business? Or that it means you're not taking your business 'seriously' enough? If that's you, you want to tune into this episode. I recently coached a PGSDer who felt like the fact that she needed to get a full-time job to support herself financially meant that she wasn't being "all-in". And what I shared with her completely blew her mind and gave her so much relief. So in today's episode I'm sharing why having a full-time job is often part of being all-in on your business. I'm also sharing how I personally navigated building my business while working a full-time job and the perspective that allowed me to stop resenting my full-time job (or feeling like a failure at business because I had one). Like many of us, the urban planning strategy game "SimCity" was an obsession for Diana Regen growing up. When she published YouTube videos about a modern incarnation -- "Cities: Skylines" and its sequel -- she grew a loyal audience around the games. But she was more interested in using these sims for social commentary about urban design, capitalism, politics, and absurdist online culture. One problem: Her audience HATED it. That is until one of her TikToks about corporate cities went viral and inspired her to return to YouTube to expand the work into robust video essays. These days, Diana works full time as a video creator, covering a wide range of topics and painting with all sorts of surrealist brushes: video games, travel videos, memes, archival footage, and AI-generated voices of historical figures saying the darndest things. Diana sits down with Matt to discuss her singular creative style and how she overcame the limitations of social video platforms that only reward you for doing the same things over and over. SummaryThis is the story of how a "pipe dream," a full-time job, and a Billy Currington song accidentally launched one of barbecue's most memorable brands.Jason Rains, the founder of "Pretty Good At Drinking Beer Barbecue," joins us to share his wild 15-year journey. He started with zero experience and a team name that's a marketing nightmare (but a fan favorite). He pulls no punches, recounting the story of finishing "dead ass last" at a major competition only to fight his way back to a Grand Reserve (second place) finish years later. In this episode, Jason shares the unfiltered story behind his brand, his bold quest to create a sauce "better than Head Country" (a big deal in Oklahoma!), and his new projects, including a non-traditional smoker cookbook and a revolutionary no-sugar-added sauce sweetened with monk fruit.More than just barbecue, this is a story about community, passion, and hustle. Jason balances his full-time job and a return to college for digital marketing, all while running his growing business. His core philosophy? "Food doesn't care about your race. Food doesn't care about your religion... Food brings people together."In this episode, you'll learn:The Origin Story: How a Billy Currington song on a back porch led to the "PGADB" brand. The Competition Grind: The truth about competing, from finishing "dead ass last" in 2015 to claiming a top prize.Oklahoma Sauce Wars: The cultural importance of Head Country and Jason's mission to create a sauce he loves even more. What's Next: A sneak peek at his upcoming second cookbook (focused on non-traditional smoker dishes) and his new no-sugar-added sauce. The "Pipe Dream": How Jason's passion project evolved into a legitimate business with employees.Core Philosophy: Why supporting local businesses and the spirit of community define the barbecue world. The Big Picture: Jason's powerful belief that food is the ultimate unifier, transcending politics, religion, and race.Chapters:0:23 The Origin of "Pretty Good At Drinking Beer Barbecue"3:06 Branding Challenges and Success4:18 Barbecue Competition Experiences5:38 The Evolution of BBQ Sauces6:07 Head Country BBQ Sauce in Oklahoma7:07 Changing Judge Preferences8:12 Developing a Sugar-Free BBQ Sauce10:11 Barbecue Sauce and Family11:37 The Science of Smoking Meat15:06 Smoker Recommendations: Hasty Bake and Oklahoma Joe19:00 The Nook and Local Business Support21:19 Philosophy of Supporting Local Businesses22:19 Challenges of Competing with Big Box Retailers24:26 Why "Pretty Good At Drinking Beer Barbecue" Avoids Walmart25:27 Working with Homeland Stores27:38 The Realities of the BBQ Sauce Business29:59 Shipping BBQ Sauce Nationwide31:09 The Power of Food to Bring People Together31:56 Juggling a Full-Time Job and a "Pipe Dream" Business33:09 The First Cookbook: "I'd Smoke That"34:09 Non-Traditional Smoker Recipes37:18 Plans for the Second Cookbook39:31 The Value of Teaching and Community40:06 Smooth Sailing and Stressful Times41:09 Leaving a Legacy41:35 The Camaraderie of the Barbecue World43:24 First Grand Reserve Win46:25 Helping Fellow Competitors50:18 Favorite Food (Not Barbecue)51:00 Regional Barbecue Styles52:48 Belief in Luck vs. Smartness53:34 Returning to College for Digital MarketingBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/brews-business--5630487/support.

I hear this all the time — “I'd love to do more in commercial property, but I don't have enough time. I've got a full-time job, or I'm already managing a big residential portfolio.” The truth is, if you don't have enough time, it's because you're still trying to do everything yourself. Commercial property is a business, and you have to start running it like one. In this episode, I'm sharing how I approach my portfolio like a CEO — building systems, delegating, and budgeting properly so the business runs smoothly without me doing every task. I'll also show you how I find property like a CEO. You don't need to be sourcing deals every month — I plan my acquisitions over 12 to 18 months, schedule each stage, and make sure every purchase fits the long-term strategy. When you put the right systems in place, you create time and space to think clearly, make better decisions, and actually enjoy the process. If you want to run your portfolio like a business and get your time back, book a call with me at ncrealestate.co.uk/bookacall.
What if you could build cash flow without being a landlord or leaving your job? In this episode, Chad Ackerman shares how he began building wealth through passive real estate investing — all while working a W-2 job he genuinely enjoyed. Chad talks about why landlording wasn't the right fit, how he discovered passive investing, and the steps he took to start generating cash flow without adding more to his schedule. You'll hear his top tips for busy professionals looking to invest passively, the red flags to watch out for when evaluating deals or sponsors, and why this strategy is especially powerful for those working full-time.

How to Trade Stocks and Options Podcast by 10minutestocktrader.com
Are you looking to save time, make money, and start winning with less risk? Then head to https://www.ovtlyr.com.In this episode, we break down one of the boldest YouTube investing claims out there—“invest $100 into these three stocks and surpass your full-time job.” Sounds great, right? But is it real or just more hype? Let's dig into it and see what's really going on with these so-called “millionaire-maker” picks. The video starts with a deep dive into the three stocks being hyped: Serve Robotics, Invites, and Applied Digital. We take a hard look at each one through the lens of real data and OVTLYR signals—not influencer opinions. This is about facts, not clickbait.➡️ Learn why “buying the dip” is a terrible strategy when a stock is crashing down➡️ See how the 10 over 20 and price over 50 rule identifies stocks that are actually trending up➡️ Understand how order blocks expose hidden support and resistance levels before the crowd sees them➡️ Discover why professional fund managers don't gamble—they plan➡️ Find out how OVTLYR uses breadth, fear and greed, and sector analysis to filter out bad tradesWe look at what happens when traders ignore signals and chase hype, especially in volatile or untested stocks. Buying penny stocks like Invites might sound exciting, but history shows that treating trading like gambling ends in disaster. True traders think like fund managers—they have a plan, they know their entries and exits, and they protect their capital. That's how pros win. You'll see how AMD's chart serves as a perfect example of what to do instead. When the 10 EMA crosses over the 20 and price breaks above the 50, that's when traders using OVTLYR got the signal—and the move that followed was massive. Those who followed hype got stuck in losses for months, while disciplined traders rode the trend higher. That's the difference between luck and strategy. We also pull back to talk about sector and market structure. When you know that 40% of a stock's move comes from the overall market and another 30% comes from its sector, you start to realize how important it is to look beyond individual tickers. OVTLYR's tools make that easy by combining sector strength, relative greed, and trend data so you can spot high-probability setups before they take off.At the end of the day, trading isn't about chasing viral stock picks or hoping for the next big breakout. It's about consistency, data, and following a repeatable process. Fund managers don't gamble—they manage risk. That's exactly how you should treat your account if you want to win.So if you're tired of the hype and ready to trade with confidence, this breakdown will give you everything you need to start thinking like a pro. Stop guessing, start following data, and trade the OVTLYR way.

In this calm share, Jeff reflects on the journey that brought him to today: two years sober, grounded in a strong program that he approaches with the commitment of a newcomer. That mindset, he says, is what allows him to experience the promises in full.Sobriety Date: 8/9/2023Quotes“My life has become so much more manageable because I understand that I don't have to control everything, because I can't.”“It's not that my life is easy, but I just feel so much more relaxed that I know things are going to work out because I trust in a higher power."“Parttime employees don't get fulltime benefits, if you want the full benefits of this program and to see the promises come true, you have to work at it fulltime.”Referred by: Sara A.
