Music: 00:38 [inaudible]. Amalie: 00:39 Welcome to episode one of Systematic Excellence podcast where we focus on the internal factors that affect the external result. My Co-Host Janine Suvak, former US army flight surgeon and combat veteran while deployed to Iraq she was the recognized expert in combat aviation accident investigations because of her innate ability to quickly identify the multiple organizational personnel and equipment failures that contribute to this kind of catastrophic event. She's an author, mentor two Time Award Winning Mobile app developer, serial entrepreneur, and a mother of four. My cohost, Amalie Shaffer. Amalie is a navy veteran. She served as a surface warfare officer on a destroyer and a frigate where she was responsible for hundreds of sailors and did crazy things like leading teams to board pirated vessels. She's an expert in managing people, processes and projects. After she transitioned to the civilian world, she spent the last three years growing a successful digital marketing and operation management business. Janine: 01:42 She's coached and supported dozens of entrepreneurs from startup to thriving, well established multiple six figure businesses and she loves dogs. So I was pleasantly surprised when I met someone who had a similar background helping the same kind of clients with similar issues. So we decided to join forces and start this podcast. In our businesses we view, we both utilize the skills we honed in the military to serve our clients who are CEOs of small and medium sized businesses who want expert support to optimize their current operations and move their businesses forward. The businesses we both support on the surface seem to have it all together, but behind the scenes they're struggling with things like increasing overhead, decreasing profit margins, and they're overwhelmed with the day to day operations. So we want to bring those issues to light and provide real world solutions that you can implement in your own business. Amalie:02:38 See, we believe a business is like a machine in that it requires every element, people, systems and processes to be working together harmoniously to reach optimal performance and achieve the overall goal and our mission with this podcast is to provide insights and solutions from our military experiences, the leaders we've worked with and the guest experts we'll have on the show . Janine: 03:01 We can't make any promises on language because Amalie is a sailor, but we do recommend earbuds if you're around children. She does try, but sometimes it helps to emphasize the point. Amalie: 03:12 We look forward to jumping in and getting shit done with you every week. Speaker 2: 03:21 [inaudible] Amalie: 03:21 We hope you enjoyed this episode of the podcast.
