Wind-Down Friday emerges from its chrysalis and takes to the skies as IMPOLITE COFFEE BREAK. Yale is back. Analicia is not - yet - but she will be back. We promise. Get caught up on all that’s been on Yale’s mind since last we met, and, of course, the comedy rundown.
DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! Conspiracy theories abound on this episode of Wind-Down Friday. How can there be a winter storm warning when the National Weather Service is operating off a laptop in an Oklahoma City Starbucks? How can China put a potato on the dark side of the moon but not in a PF Chang's? Why does Analicia's energy drink taste like lettuce? Why do people believe there's an Arch downtown? All this plus the weekly comedy rundown and more!
Yale and Analicia's recap of their New Year's doings gets derailed by a compare-and-contrast deconstruction of the epic works of two deceased lite-rock stars. Yale ran the Joes. Analicia threw axes at the Gatsby mansion of St. Louis. New mics! A Royal Rumble! The comedy roundup! A new-new theme song and more!
Mamalicia, Little Jan-Jan, Mrs. K - whatever you choose to call her - Analocia's mom Janet Kocher is in the studio! We talk about how we spent our Christmases. Mamalicia recaps her extended birthday bonanza. All this plus the stand up and improv rundown!

Revel in tales of Thanksgiving in the casino, accounts of working the mic in the principal’s office of a Jefferson County educational institution, a heartstrings-pulling Comedy Rundown and so much Manilow.
Wind-Down Friday welcomes a new sponsor just in time for the holiday ice cream and coffee season. Our co-hosts explain how the wondrous Thanksgivings of their youth have transitioned over the years into a holiday spent in a casino and/or a drunken stupor. Yale agrees to lend his Black Friday seat to Analicia’s mom. Analicia makes a horrifying revelation with a happy ending. All this plus the independent comedy rundown!
Comedian and Christmas aficionado (Christmianado) Angela Smith joins Analicia and Yale to discuss her carefully strategized and curated holiday rituals, the magic of Hallmark Christmas movies, her random, purely contrarian distaste for soccer and her part in the kickoff to this year's Flyover Comedy Festival. Yale finds a literary avenue to plugging a sponsor. Analicia finds a gardening tool to be disturbingly hilarious All this plus the announcement of two holiday comedy spectaculars and, of course, the Flyover and Independent Comedy Rundown.

Analicia vigorously but cheerfully urges restraint on pre-Thanksgiving holiday tunes, and challenges Yale to a game of Shakespeare trivia. Meanwhile, Lyons Den host Sam Lyons texts in to furtively defend the honor of his time slot.
Yale impatiently awaits Analicia's arrival by taking on a beloved American sandwich institution. Once reunited, the pair talk improv, the storytelling show that brought them together and the mystery of Norbert and Anne. Halloween is debated, comedy and improv schedules are revealed, important questions are left unanswered!
Analicia tells a harrowing tale of a recent condiment crisis and also bolsters her street cred as a magnet for armed robbery. Yale launches another Quixotic pursuit of a major league sports team for Our Town and somehow winds up riffing on animal entrails as a soothsaying device. Boob Guns, Coffee Talk, Cremated deer - it's all here!

Raider Nation Podcast - Oakland Raiders News and Opinion with Raider Greg
TOPICS: Segment #1: "Raiders at Tennessee Titans Postgame" After a promising offseason and preseason, the Raiders had a disappointing loss to the Titans of 38-13. Greg and I were at the game with our listener and traveling companion Juan Jorge. At LP Field in Nashville we met up with RNP Boneline and Forum contributor Virginia Raider, his dad, Thomas Coke of the Smokey Mountain Raiders Booster Club, and many more great people. The Titans fans were very cordial hosts, even after their big win. They have a very nice stadium, maybe the nicest we've been to. Raider Greg breaks down the game and tells you the story of our experience in Tennessee. Segment #2: "Silence The Lambs" The St. Louis Rams visit Oakland this Sunday, and Raider Greg gives a pregame breakdown of what the Raiders need to do. This game was reportedly close to selling out, but the latest news reports say that it will be blacked out locally. If you live in the Bay Area, get to the game and help cheer the Raiders to their first of hopefully many victories in 2010.
