Dr Paul W Dyer talks with an amazing woman who listen to God. Dr LaTarsha Holden is a native of Atlanta, GA. She was a walking statistic: high-school drop-out, four kids by the age of twenty-two, welfare recipient, low self-esteem, mentally, verbally and physically abused. The predictable outcome was a life of poverty, dependency on welfare, uneducated and underemployed with little chance of success.Amazingly at the age of thirty-five while homeless with six children she decided to fight for her dreams and children and enrolled in college in “2007.” She has defied the odds and continues to shatter glass ceilings as she went from being homeless with six children to a political candidate in the “2017” election, from a GED to a Doctorate degree in Leadership Studies and became a 12x published author. She was also included in the 2014 edition of Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges.She’s been featured in Clayton County local newspaper and graced the front page of a local newspaper in Lubbock Texas. In Addition: she became a featured story on AOL Black Voices. She has appeared on the Kelly Talk Show, Atlanta Live, People’s Tv and GWEN’s Business Corner which is aired on channel 24 in Columbus Ga. She’s been featured in several magazines and interviewed on countless radio broadcasts around the world.She was presented with the award of “Women Who Inspire” at an annual women conference hosted by WEOP and was nominated for the “Humanitarian Essential Piece Award” from Ga. Alliance to End Homelessness. She was an Honoree for the “Unsung Hero” award at the APEX Pyramid awards ceremony. She received the “I Am a Warrior” award at the Stage Play “Lord Fight This Battle. She recently received a Proclamation from Atlanta City Council honoring her as an upcoming leader and advocate in Atlanta.   Chike Nwabukwu serves as the Artistic Director for Afropolitan Legacy Theatre (ALT), a production company that shares the cosmopolitan African experience through theater, film and social media . As a writer, performer and producer, Chike uses his talents to entertain and uplift. Currently, Chike and ALT are producing a short film he wrote called "My Mother's Tongue", which finds a teenage boy experiencing a communication barrier with his grandmother because they do not speak the same language. Chike's stageplay "The Naming Ceremony", about the importance of names and cultural identity, will also be produced by Afropolitan Legacy Theatre in 2012.  As a performer, Chike has acted Off-Broadway and recently starred in the short “Sides of the Track”, which will be making its festival run soon. In addition, Chike is currently receiving his MFA in Dramatic Writing at Goddard College and produces talent shows for youth in New York City. Ezinne Adibe is the Managing Director of Afropolitan Legacy Theatre. She is a writer, filmmaker, and marketing maven.  The NYU Tisch School of the Arts graduate has written for such publications as AOL Black Voices, Jamati, & The Atlanta Post, just to name a few.
