Thank you so much, Dearest Listeners for taking the time to tune into the library of episodes, where I endeavor to offer something that provides a bit of insight, and perhaps gives you something to reflect upon.As you look at the title of this episode, just maybe the "Art of Selfishness" is the part that jumps out. In most episodes, I talk about the astrological cosmic weather, meaning how the planets and signs line up. As I pondered how to begin talking about this reallypowerful council of planets, all moving into the sign of Aquarius, and what this means for each of us, suddenly the "Art of Selfishness" downloaded into my awareness. Here's a bit of background. The "Art of Selfishness" is the title of a book written by psychologist, Dr. David Seabury. Like you, I inquired of the "Cosmic downloaders", why this book? Well, the best that I can discern is that it's a very Aquarian book.Dr. Seabury's writing was based on client cases of the 1930s; the book was first published in 1937, and would go on to have numerous reprints. His counseling approach for helping people, was one of supporting them to become aware of their own unique core being. His book in many ways was "radical, innovative and ahead of it's time. These are all descriptive attributes about the sign of Aquarius. Thus, in this part one episode, my topic is about finding the houses where you have the sign of Aquarius, and also its co- guiding planets, Uranus and Saturn. In addition, it is really important to give attention to where the planet Pluto is taking up residence in your chart. The essential question is what area of your life do you deserve to "reinvent your vision," the true essence of who you are? By way of example, do you have Aquarius positioned on your 4th house? In keeping with the traditional attributes of this Moon guided house, you have been a "nurturer and motherer" of everyone and everything that has knocked on your door. But now, Pluto in Aquarius is going to move through your 4th. More than likely, Uranus in whatever sign, is going to have something to say also. The question for your 4th house self, might be something like why haven't you taken care of yourself? What is the new vision that you need to nurture for you? How might you apply the visionary principle, guided by the "Art of Selfishness" to your own life? What's Your Aquarian Vision?I am proud to announce my new offering as a Certified Creative Depth Coach. Dearest Listeners,Welcome to 2024. First, I want to thank so much you for tuning into the 2023 episodes. Together we can celebrate 3 top ones. The one that was at the top of the "leader board", featured another conversation with Kathy Harmon-Luber. https://www.buzzsprout.com/952825/episodes/12188008-full-moon-in-leo-stand-in-your-own-spotlight-a-conversation-with-writer-and-sound-healer-kathy-harmon-luberKathy graciously agreed to start 2024 off with more of her insights and sound medicine through her voice and drum. In our conversation she outlines six steps that she views as being steppingstones for tuning into our own inner wisdom. The key idea for 2024 is that we all have the capacity to find our own direction. In our conversation Kathy emphasizes that through her observations, we need to tap our inner wisdom and intuition as the power sources for this year.Instead of making the conventional, "new years resolutions" she has created a novel and unique way called "Soulpathing". The way it works, is by asking yourself " what is it I really desire and have an intention to see manifest in my life this year?"As Kathy and I talk, you will come to understand that "Soulpathing" and astrology connect as great partners. The way to relate and work with your "Soulpathing" is by gaining a deeper awareness, of the signs and planets in your astrology chart which can provide clarity and insights into specific areas, that are unique to your life experiences. The yearly Solar Return Chart (birthday chart) is especially useful for gaining awareness of what, and how to navigate your year. Learn how particular signs, planets, eclipses, retrogrades, and the cosmic whether will affect you this year. If you have a desire to finally create more self-understanding, success, financial abundance, and manifests your heart's desires, your astrology Soul blueprint offers unique answers and a customized design just for you. Kathy's "Soulpathing" offers you steps for seeing the essential and most highlighted aspects of your life.Joy is the password for 2024.Contact Kathy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e7Focg_MaeRuth: https://www.soulsoundinsights.com/light-reading.htmlI am proud to announce my new offering as a Certified Creative Depth Coach. Dearest Listeners, it's finally time to put all those crumbs to good use as we head to the lake to feed the ducks (and other assorted waterfowl) during our Polin rewatch of S2E5 An Unthinkable Fate. As Colin frets over which cake to eat next from his plate of snacks, Pen frets over the state of her business and family affairs. We also join our beloved pair at the Serpentine for a heart-to-oblivious-heart as Colin proves that telling the difference between ducks and swans is harder than we thought. An Ornithologist, he is not. Elsewhere, we console ourselves over the latest Season 3 speculation and head on down to the circus to share a very special crack theory with the crowds. * Ways to Support Strikers and Entertainment Workers During the SAG-AFTRA Strike Donate to the Entertainment Community Fund Donate to Emergency Financial Assistance and Disaster Relief Fund for SAG-AFTRA Members Donate to The Union Solidarity Coalition Donate to the MPTF Emergency Fund Change.org petition for below-the-line strike workers Deadline: Information about below-the-line workers petition Business Insider: How to support SAG-AFTRA/WGA strikes Blog: What can fans do while WGA & SAG-AFTRA are on strike? Dearest Listeners, dust off those giant white feathers and get ready to party like it's 1814 as we welcome in a brand-new social season during our Polin rewatch of S2E1, Capital R-Rake. We'll be sneaking around London with our favourite Irish maid, trailing through daffodils with BFFs-'til-episode-8 Peneloise and musing on just how lovely Penelope looks in candlelight. Elsewhere, our fangirl hearts squeal with joy as we stumble upon the Holy Grail of Polin lore: the scandalous thirdborn love letters - uh, we mean platonic correspondence. Right, Colin? Dearest Listeners, I spent some time comparing the cost versus reward of writing out show notes each week. As someone who watches movie trailers before I fully commit to any film, I can understand the desire to have a hint of what's coming in each episode before you take time to listen. However, as someone whose very soul is sucked dry each time I attempt to write a captivating script that gives you details you could easily find by checking out each guest's social media and/or website, I have determined the cost is greater than the reward. This week I sat down with Erica Renaud, and you can check her out using the links below. If it wasn't worth listening to we wouldn't be releasing it, so go listen and let us know what you think. Dearest Listeners, we are (sadly) bringing our Jane Austen coverage to a close this week but we PROMISE we are making the most of it. This week Madelaine recounts an almost lg moment at the Hollywood Bowl, Rebecca outs a Mr. Elton from a certain app, and we go through the Jane Austen cannon and rank each of her heroines from least to most lonely. We then accidentally are able to go through the books and quite speedily are able to sort them all in to lonely girl categories and we are done with our beloved Jane (for now...)Don't forget to follow us at @lonelygirlspodcast on the socials and be sure to leave us only five stars. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Episode Title: Dearest Listeners Lady Grettelcider (aka Kim) brings some excitement with the 30th episode of the Ladies Night Podcast. Dearest Listeners, we are BACK bitches and we promise that it was worth the wait. This week we are looking at one of the most important Lonely Girl influences of all time, Jane Austen. Because Austen is so important to us we are taking our time with her for the next two weeks. This week we will be discussing her personal life and next week we will be looking more specifically at her different works. During this episode we will be discussing her through the lens of the lonely girl and whether or not we think she was one herself. This episode is great for Jane-ites and those who half watched an adaptation five years ago. Her life alone is worth discussing and we do hope you will join us. ALSO, if you want to read or listen to the book that Rebecca got most of her information from go and check out Lucy Worsley's biography, Jane Austen at Home. Rebecca listened to it (as usual) but maybe buy a used copy to support small businesses! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Dearest Listeners, We've been following the drama and lawsuit surrounding B&B's The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical that has taken place over the past few days as we know most of you listening have done as well. It's a bit confusing, so we thought we would make a little episode chatting about what has gone down and our thoughts. We wish to echo that all of this has been made public knowledge within the media and internet and we personally cannot be 100% certain of anything that has been released as we have no personal involvement.

Dearest Listeners, did you miss us? The social season is upon us in this week's episode of Lady Geeks' Society Podcast. We're back in Grosvenor Square, 1814, and there's plenty to discuss in Bridgerton Season 2, Episode 1, "Capital R Rake." The viscount has declared his intentions, Edwina Sharma is crowned the season's diamond, Eloise Bridgerton is the emerald, and Kate Sharma is already everything to us. There's quite a journey ahead of us as our viscount, and his future viscountess admit to their feelings, but for now, it's all about first meetings, snippy conversations, and a whole lot of familial bickering. They hope to prepare other women (at least more than the Duchess of Hastings) for what will be explained in great detail. For those who remain intrigued and would like to know more about this very common (but not often talked about) procedure, join them tomorrow as the hosts share their experiences and attempt to break the stigma of talking about ones lady bits (and the many other things women's bodies go through).Yours Truly, Lady Whistledown (we wish!) Today we discuss a gynecological procedure known as a colposcopy. Sound familiar? Our host and guest Shae-li didn't know what one was until the moment they were told by their doctors that they needed to have one. Listen in as they break things down, share their stories, and hopefully prepare other women on what to expect if ever presented with this procedure.
