5/11/2025 Rev. Jacob Kim Proverbs 31:25-31 English Standard Version 25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. 26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. 27 She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” 30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates. 2 Timothy 1:3-7 English Standard Version 3 I thank God whom I serve, as did my ancestors, with a clear conscience, as I remember you constantly in my prayers night and day. 4 As I remember your tears, I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy. 5 I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well. 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Pastor Travis Hearn brings a powerful and cinematic message to Impact Church titled “Living a Life of Sacrifice.” With raw honesty and heartfelt storytelling, he invites us into the legacy of his mother—Toni—a woman who gives up her own dreams, works four jobs, and sacrifices everything just to be present for her son. But this isn't just her story—it becomes a mirror for all of us. In this message, Pastor Travis calls you to something deeper: not just believing in Jesus, but fully belonging to Him. As he unpacks Romans 12:1, you'll be challenged to offer your life—not in part, but in full—as a living sacrifice. Worship, he says, isn't just what happens on a Sunday stage, it's what happens when your life hits the altar on Monday morning. If you've ever felt unseen, broken, or out of place, this message reminds you—you're not overlooked, you're set apart. Through the promise of Psalm 91 and the boldness of Daniel, you'll be inspired to stop conforming and start transforming. Because when you see God's mercy clearly, giving Him everything won't feel like loss—it'll feel like the only thing that makes sense.
Join us on “What We Learn from Godly Mothers” as we dive into the inspiring stories of women whose faith moved mountains and shaped history. In this episode, we unpack Paul's charge in 1 Timothy 1:5 by exploring four pillars of a faith-filled legacy: how everyday faith plants eternal seeds, the courage required to stand apart, the power of persistent prayer, and the beauty of surrendering to God's plan. The nuclear family is the backbone of a strong society—without it, we will crumble. In this episode, we're talking about Elon Musk's latest love child with Ashley St. Clair and why Conservatives cannot fall into the trap of normalizing single motherhood and reckless men who create broken families. Strong individuals come from strong families. When the family unit collapses, people become weak, directionless, and ultimately easier for the government to exploit. The more broken the home, the more dependent the individual. And guess who loves that? The people in power who want control over your life. So, we are talking biblical gender roles, marriage, family, and why morals will always matter—even if they stop mattering to everyone else. A father's leadership and a mother's nurturing aren't interchangeable, and no amount of modern delusion will change that. Children need both a mother and a father in the home. And no, morals don't change for you once you're rich. Wh*re culture needs to die because the next generation is at stake.--https://policecoffee.com/?srsltid=AfmBOooc599VmOCGa3oE2DnVcJ4uLA69XDoBZf8ChiOpFqVfKc_BASiR

Proverbs 31:28 tells us something incredible about Godly Mothers. It says, “Her children stand and bless her.” The verses just before, tell us why that would happen: “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.” (Proverbs 31:25-27) This is not just some “honorable mention” thrown into the bible. These words declare the importance that GOD places on the role of a mother. The ways they influence our lives will never be overstated! Mother's Day is a time to honor our moms as well as those “spiritual moms” GOD placed along the way in our lives. We will take time this service to do just that! I'm also grateful to the LORD for arranging our teaching series on the book of James, to bring us to the last two verses in that great book on Mother's Day. In my 40+ years in vocational ministry, I don't know of a more frequent prayer request that moms have shared with me, than asking me to pray with them that GOD would bring back their child who had “wandered away from the truth”! I'm praying you'll engage with this message as we honor Moms by looking to GOD's Word to address one of the deepest longings of their hearts, and should for our hearts as well! Pastor Joe Still

Whenever I am asked, "Who has made an impact on your life?" my mind is drawn to my grandmother. My grandmother is a beautiful woman who had a significant impact on me as a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. In this episode, I share some insights into my grandmother's life (she lived to be 102!), the lessons she taught me, and the example she set for me on being a homemaker. My hope is that this episode will remind us to cherish each moment, love generously, and reflect God's grace and love in everything we do. To equip the next generation for today's culture we must leave a legacy of godliness. As we pass on Biblical values to our children and teenagers, we're preparing a generation of spirit filled believers who are strong in the Lord and power of His might.

As a young believer and a young mother, one of the scriptures that had much impact on me was 2 Timothy 1:5: I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well. The Lord used the influence of Timothy's mother and grandmother in bringing him to saving faith. The Lord also used them in instructing Timothy in the Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:14-17).
