Bible News Prophecy with Dr Bob Thiel Warnings, Moral Decline, and the Promise of a Future Without Violence Continuing Church of God 50 News Through the Lens of Prophecy In this episode of Bible News Prophecy, host Steve Dupuie speaks with Dr. Bob Thiel of the Continuing Church of God about reports of sexual violence, grooming gangs, and institutional failure in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe. The conversation frames current events through the program's stated purpose: analyzing world events in light of Bible prophecy. Dr. Thiel discusses recent reports and commentary about Rotherham, broader UK grooming-gang scandals, alleged failures by public officials, and claims that political correctness and fear of accusations of racism contributed to authorities failing to protect vulnerable girls. Rotherham, Europe, and the Charge of Institutional Complicity Dr. Thiel cites reports claiming that large numbers of mainly working-class British girls were abused by organized grooming gangs, and he expands the concern to other towns in the UK and parts of Europe. He emphasizes allegations that officials ignored, minimized, or suppressed warnings in order to protect “community relations.” The episode also references calls for accountability, including Elon Musk's reported support for Nuremberg-style trials for perpetrators and enablers, as well as reports of similar concerns in France, Germany, and Nuremberg. The discussion presents these issues as part of a wider pattern of institutional unwillingness to confront serious crimes honestly. Speaking Out, Censorship, and the Fear of Naming Patterns The program then turns to the question of whether people in Europe are being punished for publicly discussing the backgrounds of alleged attackers. Dr. Thiel references a French woman who says she faced legal consequences after speaking on television about rape, immigration, and crime, including her own alleged experience of an attempted assault. He argues that societies should not criminalize people for speaking about violence or warning others, especially when women are raising safety concerns. The episode's moral focus is that victims and whistleblowers should be protected rather than silenced. Rape, Biblical Penalty, and the Trauma of Victims Steve asks what the Bible says about rape, and Dr. Thiel points to Deuteronomy 22:25, saying the biblical penalty for a man forcing a woman sexually is death. He then discusses the lasting trauma of rape, including physical harm, social stigma, fear, pregnancy, disease, and emotional consequences. He also notes that many victims have historically faced disbelief, blame, or mistreatment when reporting assault. At the same time, he says false accusations also exist and complicate the pursuit of justice, urging genuine victims to seek medical care, report the crime, and receive counseling. Prophetic Warnings About Moral Collapse Dr. Thiel connects sexual violence and institutional corruption to biblical warnings about national decline. He reads from Deuteronomy 28, describing curses that come from rejecting God's commandments, and connects those passages to rape, fear, and outsiders rising over disobedient nations. He also cites Deuteronomy 32, Romans 1, and 2 Timothy 3 to argue that violence, deception, brutality, selfishness, loss of self-control, and love of pleasure over God are marks of the last days. In his view, these reports are not isolated crimes only, but symptoms of societies moving away from biblical morality. Terror Within and the Beginning of Sorrows The episode broadens into end-times interpretation, with Dr. Thiel saying increased rape, violence, lawlessness, and terror are part of the “troubles” Jesus warned about in Mark 13. He describes the present era as the beginning of sorrows and says worse tribulation is coming before Christ's return. While the topic is grim, the program presents the Christian prophetic message as ultimately hopeful: Jesus will return, the Kingdom of God will be established, and violent crimes such as rape will end. A Kingdom Where No One Hurts or Destroys Dr. Thiel closes by pointing to Isaiah 11:9, which says that no one will hurt or destroy in God's holy mountain because the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord. He says this future Kingdom will put an end to rape, terror, and violence, and he urges listeners to pray as Jesus instructed in Matthew 6:10: “Your kingdom come.” The program ends with Steve directing listeners to BibleNewsProphecy.net, CCOG.org, and the Continuing Church of God's free literature and audio resources.
Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, addresses the question of why church attendance in the US has plummeted and what has led to churches losing their voice in the culture of America. Dr. Hall reviews a litany of things in US culture that reflect a moral decline. As he addresses these things he repeatedly asks the question, “Who's fault,Him is it?” He points out that more and more thoughtful commentators say the fault lies with the churches of America. Many of the cultural shifts in America that have led to churches losing their cultural traction are reviewed and analyzed. It is pointed out that some do not blame religious leaders for the failures of their churches and the retreat from American life but see those changes as a slow cumulative cultural shift. Others, including Dr. Hall, blame church leaders for much of the moral decline in America. The podcast concludes with Dr. Hall adamantly stating, “The future for the Christian church and believers is not hopeless. The time has come for the church's light to shine again.” Can be heard on all podcast search engines and viewed on YouTube at: https://youtu.be/O5ZqoGZg9oI
Today on Uncommon Sense, we're discussing the tragic state of the modern world. From the protests in Ireland to growing frustration across Western nations, many people feel as though their voices are no longer being heard by the institutions that claim to represent them. I'll share why I support the right of people to protest and why I believe the demonstrations in Ireland have resonated with so many people around the world. We'll also discuss what I see as a deeper spiritual crisis affecting modern society. Many of the political, cultural, and social problems we face today are symptoms of a broader moral and spiritual decline, one that cannot be solved through politics alone. In this episode:My thoughts on the protests in IrelandWhy so many citizens now feel disconnected from their governmentsThe growing divide between ordinary people and powerful institutionsThe role of faith, morality, and personal responsibility in rebuilding societyWhy I believe many of today's crises point to a deeper spiritual battleWhether you agree or disagree, this episode is an invitation to think critically about the direction of our culture, our governments, and our future.--https://www.youversion.com/bible-app
On today's episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we discuss the political attacks surrounding Thomas Massie, growing concerns over foreign lobbying influence in American politics, and why millions of Americans feel their government no longer represents them.We also discuss the continued secrecy surrounding the Epstein case and why the American people are demanding full transparency, the complete unredacted Epstein files, and lawful accountability for every individual involved regardless of status or political connections. As corruption, manipulation, and moral decay continue spreading through powerful institutions, Americans must hold tightly to their God-given Constitutional rights, speak truth boldly, and refuse to surrender their freedoms out of fear.Truth matters. Justice matters. And no one should be above the law.--https://www.bible.com/

It's been seven weeks since the United States and Israel launched a coordinated bombing campaign against Iran. Fareed Zakaria tells Matt Galloway that the US's lack of coherent plan, moral bankruptcy and dubious legal standing in the Iran war have made it and the world more dangerous.
Host: NickEpisode OverviewIn this somber and reflective episode, Nick steps away from traditional historical narratives to analyze what he believes is a pivotal, "apocalyptic" turning point in the 21st century. Drawing on the concept of "Westlessness," Nick argues that current tensions in the Persian Gulf and the shifting political landscape in the United States signal the definitive end of Western hegemony and the violent birth of a truly multipolar world.Key Themes and Discussion PointsThe Concept of "Westlessness": Nick revisits the ideas of Dr. Samir Puri, discussing the relative rebalancing of world power. He suggests that we are moving past a world where Western liberal democracy and free markets are hegemonic, entering an era where they are merely one of many competing influences. The First War of the Multipolar Order: Nick posits that the current situation in the Persian Gulf represents a tipping point. He argues that powers like Iran and China represent forces that the United States can no longer "bomb into submission," marking a limit to Western hard power. The Moral Decline of Western Institutions: The episode explores the perceived "discrediting" of international law. Nick argues that Western complicity in global conflicts and the failure to uphold the rights of refugees and international borders has stripped the West of its moral authority in the eyes of the Global South. The Internal Western "Civil War": Nick identifies a structural conflict between two elite factions:The Traditional "Brahmin" Elite: The neoliberal political class (Reagan/Thatcher consensus) that has overseen mass privatization and social stagnation. The Insurgent Populist Elite: Figures like Trump, Orbán, and Netanyahu, who weaponize cultural grievances to build coalitions while dismantling democratic checks and balances. The Rise of "Pax Sinica": While the West is mired in "never-ending wars" and internal discord, Nick points to China's strategic patience. He speculates that we may see a future where Europe—feeling abandoned or exploited by a Trump-led America—pivots toward Beijing to connect "Brussels to Beijing" in a new economic reality.Notable Quote"We are witnessing... one of the key pivotal moments of the 21st century, a moment for which I think whatever happens next, there's no coming back from where we're at."Final ThoughtsNick concludes the episode with a stark outlook for the 21st century, predicting a diminished and poorer America and Europe. He promises to return to "proper history" in the next episode but emphasizes the necessity of reflecting on these historic shifts as they happen in real-time.Links & Resources mentioned:Westlessness by Dr. Samir Puri. The Explaining History website (for ad-free content and ethical streaming options).Explaining History helps you understand the 20th Century through critical conversations and expert interviews. In this episode of Uncommon Sense, I'm calling out a problem no one wants to confront: the normalization of partying, drinking, and casual sex especially among so-called “conservative influencers.”You cannot claim to defend Western Civilization while publicly celebrating the very behaviors that destroyed past civilizations. Conservatism without morality is just aesthetic rebellion. We don't need more clout, cocktails, or compromised values. We need a return to godliness, self-discipline, and moral responsibility because the future generations watching us will inherit whatever standard we tolerate today. If we want to save the West, we have to get serious about being truly Christian again.--https://www.bible.com/

This episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson takes a hard look at the growing contradictions surrounding Erika Kirk and the direction of TPUSA's AmFest (or should I say IsFest). From Charlie Kirk's own recorded warnings about bad cultural role models to TPUSA turning around and platforming those very same celebrities (Nicki Minaj included) whose lifestyles openly contradict Christian teaching, the hypocrisy is no longer ignorable. We're breaking down how moral inconsistency, pop-culture appeasement, and ideological confusion are rotting the conservative movement from the inside out. America First cannot exist without Christianity first—not as a buzzword, not as branding, but as the moral and cultural foundation of who we are. And right now, we are watching our spiritual and national identity slip away in real time. When so-called Christian leaders blur lines, excuse the very behavior they once condemned, and choose influence over truth, they don't just lose credibility, they lose the plot (and they lose the people who trusted them). This episode is a call for honesty, consistency, and real conservative leadership rooted in the Christian values they claim to stand for. Not clout, not platforms, and not sinful worldliness. We don't need people playing leaders. We need actual leadership.—https://www.bible.com/
Why is the Epstein client list still hidden? Why has there been no real justice for Charlie Kirk? And why is America expected to stay tied at the hip with Israel, no matter the cost to our own citizens? And are all of these things somehow connected?Let's break down the layers of corruption, the political cowardice protecting the powerful, and the urgent need for transparency, accountability, and national independence.--https://www.bible.com/
For Peter Wehner, American politics is a tale of two Kellys. On the one hand, there's the moral resistance of Arizona Senator Mark Kelly to what appears to be the gratuitous violence of American forces overseas. On the other hand, there's the conservative podcaster Megyn Kelly who has openly fantasized about this bloodthirsty behavior. For Wehner, Megyn Kelly's immorality is an excellent example of both the moral and intellectual decline of the right. Once a serious journalist who challenged (and upset) Trump in the 2015 debates, Kelly has devolved into what Wehner calls “darkly deranged” territory - a trajectory that mirrors the broader conservative movement's abandonment of Burkean and Madisonian principles for Kelly-style shock jocks and neo-Nazi clowns like Nick Fuentes. There's a kind of gratitude that does more than lift your mood—it changes the battle. In this powerful message, Pastor George Sawyer unpacks one of the most overlooked spiritual principles in Scripture: the supernatural power of giving thanks.Pastor Sawyer shows how gratitude is more than a habit—it's a spiritual weapon. From David facing Goliath to Jesus giving thanks before feeding the 5,000, we see a pattern: when God's people give thanks before the breakthrough, heaven moves. Thanksgiving shifts the atmosphere, uproots fear, and invites God's presence into the very moments where we feel weakest. He also warns about the subtle danger of forgetfulness and ingratitude—how drifting from thankfulness affects our spiritual resilience, our clarity, and even the battles we don't realize we're fighting. Backed by Scripture and real-world insights, this message will equip you to practice gratitude not as a reaction, but as a spiritual strategy. If you've been facing pressure, discouragement, or spiritual warfare, this message will help you plant a seed of thanks that can transform everything.00:00 – Introduction and Series Overview01:07 – Understanding the Power of Thanksgiving01:37 – Spiritual Warfare and Hidden Battles03:11 – David & Goliath: A Fresh Perspective05:48 – Giving Thanks in Difficult Moments08:11 – Scripture Foundations for Gratitude09:58 – Practical Ways to Practice Thanksgiving15:47 – Rejoicing & Giving Thanks in All Circumstances21:30 – The Power of Thanksgiving in Action22:29 – The Danger of Forgetting God26:15 – Scientific Evidence Supporting Gratitude29:29 – Moral Decline & Ungratefulness36:08 – Jesus' Example of Giving Thanks40:20 – The Importance of Remembering
Today we're trashing feminism some more, because it obviously deserves it. Feminism is not only unbiblical, it's extremely destructive for all of society. We'll talk about why Christian podcasters like Allie Beth Stuckey shouldn't defend their feminism while claiming to follow Christ, and why Christianity itself is a patriarchy, by God's design. It's time for biblical men to stop waiting for permission from feminists and take back the authority God gave them. We'll also discuss more of the Trump administration's mistakes, including this ridiculous new 50-year mortgage idea that proves how far from wisdom our leaders have fallen.

In this episode of Wake Up, Look Up, Pastor Zach responds to the bizarre rise of American Christians relocating to Russia in search of “traditional values” and spiritual refuge. Using the lens of the gospel, Pastor Zach challenges the mindset behind this trend, reminding us that no nation—America or Russia—is truly righteous. Instead of retreating from cultural brokenness, Jesus calls us to enter it with love, truth, and purpose. With clarity and conviction, Pastor Zach refocuses our hope on the only true promised land: the eternal Kingdom of God led by Jesus Christ.Have an article you'd like Pastor Zach to discuss? Writing a fall arc involves capturing characters' heartbreaking journeys. Discover techniques for depicting their moral decline.
This lecture discusses key ideas from the 20th and 21st century philosopher and moral theorist, Alasdair MacIntyre's essay "Plain Persons and Moral Theory" It focuses upon a generalized narrative that MacIntyre calls "the story of the decline and fall of the plain person", with four main "episodes". 1. The protagonist strives to answer the question "what is my good", but doesn't develop a temperateness needed toward less than supreme goods 2. A "radical discrepancy develops between rules needed for pursuit of the good and the multiplicity of goods 3. The discrepancy gets resolved in one of two incompatible ways. Either rules take priority or goods do. The protagonist learns that they cannot avoid taking sides 4. The protagonist discovers that the major issues at stake cannot be rationally resolved MacIntyre also maintains that this is not just a story of individuals but of our moral culture from the 16th-20th centuries, as set out in his book After Virtue To support my ongoing work, go to my Patreon site - www.patreon.com/sadler If you'd like to make a direct contribution, you can do so here - www.paypal.me/ReasonIO - or at BuyMeACoffee - www.buymeacoffee.com/A4quYdWoM You can find over 3,000 philosophy videos in my main YouTube channel - www.youtube.com/user/gbisadler You can find MacIntyre's essay "Plain Persons and Moral Theory" here - https://amzn.to/3KUbXVf
The nuclear family is the backbone of a strong society—without it, we will crumble. In this episode, we're talking about Elon Musk's latest love child with Ashley St. Clair and why Conservatives cannot fall into the trap of normalizing single motherhood and reckless men who create broken families. Strong individuals come from strong families. When the family unit collapses, people become weak, directionless, and ultimately easier for the government to exploit. The more broken the home, the more dependent the individual. And guess who loves that? The people in power who want control over your life. So, we are talking biblical gender roles, marriage, family, and why morals will always matter—even if they stop mattering to everyone else. A father's leadership and a mother's nurturing aren't interchangeable, and no amount of modern delusion will change that. Children need both a mother and a father in the home. And no, morals don't change for you once you're rich. Wh*re culture needs to die because the next generation is at stake.--https://policecoffee.com/?srsltid=AfmBOooc599VmOCGa3oE2DnVcJ4uLA69XDoBZf8ChiOpFqVfKc_BASiR
In Episode 401 of Hidden Forces, Demetri Kofinas shares his recent appearance on the Grant Williams podcast in which he and Grant discuss how the interplay of political power, technology, and moral decline in society are driving the unraveling of the social order as we pass through the final stages of what Neil Howe has famously described as “The Fourth Turning.” Demetri and Grant explore how cyclical historical theories apply to today's turbulent geopolitics, emphasizing the rise of populism, shifting alliances, and eroding trust in institutions. Kofinas highlights the role of media in shaping collective narratives and exacerbating societal fault lines, while Williams calls attention to the erosion of personal accountability—an absence that fuels trends in financial nihilism and accelerates the broader moral decline of American life. This decay, they argue, extends to the country's political structures and the integrity of its financial markets. The conversation also touches on the fragility of complex systems, from social structures to global financial frameworks, underscoring the need for intellectual rigor and ethical leadership. Throughout, they urge listeners to stay critical yet open-minded, balancing caution with the desire to seize opportunities that emerge from the transformative changes currently underway. This year's election might have been the most contentious in modern memory. It's not just that politics have changed, but it seems that people have too. You've probably heard this phrase: “People aren't as kind as they used to be”. Maybe you've experienced the feeling that people are acting meaner to each other, year after year. But is it true? Are people really less kind than they used to be?With that question in mind, and as we take some time off for the Thanksgiving holiday, we wanted to reshare our episode with psychologist Adam Mastroianni. Mastroianni wondered if people are really becoming less moral in today's world, so he set out to find an answer, and published his findings in the journal Nature, “The Illusion of Moral Decline.” While the title may be a giveaway for his findings, he asks: If people are becoming less moral, why do we all feel the same way—and what can we do to shake this “illusion?”
Jacob welcomes Adam Mastroianni onto the show to discuss his 2023 article in Nature about how it is human nature to assume that the world is always getting worse. This is that rare bit of content that is entirely optimistic – it invites you to consider that our perception of the world is grounded not in what is actually happening in the world but in how we are programmed to think about it. --Timestamps:00:01 - Introduction to Adam Mastriani00:15 - The Illusion of Moral Decline00:31 - Human Psychology and Moral Perception04:38 - Survey Findings on Morality02:03 - Understanding Cooperation and Negativity Bias14:03 - Exploring Political Polarization11:28 - The Role of Social Media in Perception42:26 - Conclusion: Optimism in a Complex World--Referenced in the Show:Link to article: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-023-06137-x--Jacob Shapiro Site: jacobshapiro.comJacob Twitter: x.com/JacobShapCI Site: cognitive.investmentsSubscribe to the Newsletter: bit.ly/weekly-sitrep--Cognitive Investments is an investment advisory firm, founded in 2019 that provides clients with a nuanced array of financial planning, investment advisory and wealth management services.
