The nuclear family is the backbone of a strong society—without it, we will crumble. In this episode, we're talking about Elon Musk's latest love child with Ashley St. Clair and why Conservatives cannot fall into the trap of normalizing single motherhood and reckless men who create broken families. Strong individuals come from strong families. When the family unit collapses, people become weak, directionless, and ultimately easier for the government to exploit. The more broken the home, the more dependent the individual. And guess who loves that? The people in power who want control over your life. So, we are talking biblical gender roles, marriage, family, and why morals will always matter—even if they stop mattering to everyone else. A father's leadership and a mother's nurturing aren't interchangeable, and no amount of modern delusion will change that. Children need both a mother and a father in the home. And no, morals don't change for you once you're rich. Wh*re culture needs to die because the next generation is at stake.--https://policecoffee.com/?srsltid=AfmBOooc599VmOCGa3oE2DnVcJ4uLA69XDoBZf8ChiOpFqVfKc_BASiR

Delight Your Marriage | Relationship Advice, Christianity, & Sexual Intimacy

Clarity is a Christian's speciality.  Amidst a confused culture, a clear understanding of God's word is what we need.  If you're a husband, I invite you to consider how Jesus led and what the Bible says about a husband's leadership in the family.  If you're a wife, I invite you to hear what a man can be (really) so you are happy to be led.  My story started without good role modeling.  And then I tried to "submit" and it was soul crushing.  Then I decided I would NOT submit, and it was stressful, frustrating, and deeply painful.  Then I discovered God's way  (though I still make mistakes at times), and it has made both my husband and I flourish.  I can lead in many, many ways outside of our family -- but I love that in our home I am not the leader. My husband is trustworthy and good to me and our children.  I hope you can catch a vision of what it can mean for you as a man or a woman to empower the right order of family.  We are to be a light on a hill for the non-believers.  I hope you'll curiously seek to gain perspective and growth into more and more of who God wants you to be in and through your marriage so you can do more for the Kingdom of God.    Love, Belah   PS - We can help -- if you're a husband or a wife -- that's what we do. Check out delightyourmarriage.com/cc to learn more.   PPS - Here a quote from a recent graduate: Before the Masculinity Reclaimed program: “I had quite a few struggles when starting the program...we were arguing quite a lot, I was defensive in my responses and even blamed [her] for the issues. I also hadn't been intentional in terms of dating or cherishing her for a long time and she was feeling neglected and getting more and more upset about the situation.    Neither of us was very happy. I tried to do more around the house to make [her] happy, tried to act perfectly but still failed and ended up walking on eggshells most of the time. Not feeling or acting confidently or as a leader.”   After MR: “I can see now that I had been both aloof and independent towards my wife...but also very dependent on her mood and feelings/actions towards me.    I feel more secure now in who I am, I don't get defensive much at all any more and we rarely argue… I realized that I hadn't been a very good husband for a very long time. I didn't know the extent of it until I went through each week and realized that I hadn't really been doing the basics of knowing my wife, or making her feel safe and cherished. That was a hard realization, but actually really helped me to understand the situation and where [she] was coming from and also helped me to own my part in it.    It's been a huge change for the better. I have daily devotions now, I practice gratitude daily now. I have more confidence and less anxiety around people or stressful situations. I feel closer to God now; what could be a bigger impact than that?”

Episode Summary. When I hear accusations today of the bible teaching oppressive patriarchy, it reminds me of Mark Twain's comment, “It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.” There is not a scrap of evidence to suggest that God's design of different roles for husbands and wives is harmful in any way. In fact, the biblical view of masculine leadership, starting with Adam's design, modeled by Jesus in his care for his bride, and the foundation for Paul's charge to Timothy about church leadership is the call to love those under our care. This episode examines this calling. But perhaps more importantly it examines the three wellsprings, from which sacrificial love flows into men's hearts so we can give it to those we lead. For Further Prayerful Thought: In your own words why does sacrificial love issue from a pure heart? In your own words why does sacrificial love issue from a clean conscience? In your own words why does sacrificial love issue from a sincere faith? For the printed version of this message click here. For a summary of topics addressed by podcast series, click here. For FREE downloadable studies on men's issues click here.To make an online contribution to enable others to hear about the podcast: (Click link and scroll down to bottom left)

Men and women were created with roles. In our society, we often see men are not living up to the role that God calls them to. Now, there is always room for grace, but there also needs to be a realization of how men can live in response to the grace that God gives them - striving to be the man, husband, and father that they are created to be. In this episode, Rick and Brad talk about two ways that men tend to fail in our culture. Along with practical advice, listen in to hear how the Gospel calls men to live for more than themselves. If you've been with me a minute, you know that leadership paradigms are changing. Yet it's causing an unspoken crisis for male leaders in particular. Being empathetic and showing vulnerability are not consistent with how men have been socialized or how many women leaders were advised to lead. But that ain't gonna fly anymore in today's market or with today's talent! Leaders disrupting this status quo need to be strong against the push back and show the great results.Today Carol Vallone Mitchell answers the popular question of whether women leaders are "better at" empathy than men and what role gender plays in successful collaborative leadership. We discuss how empathy is a critical trait of collaborative leaders, and she shares how leadership effectiveness has traditionally been framed in stereotypical masculine terms - and why those are no longer effective for success today. To access the episode transcript, please click on the episode title at www.TheEmpathyEdge.com Key Takeaways:Empathy is a foundation for collaborative leadership.Acquiescence, submission, and people pleasing are not empathy. If you are being burnt out by “empathy” then you're probably not actually practicing empathy. Gender is irrelevant in being an effective leader, employee, or human being. It is how you choose to lead that really matters. "Society teaches young men that to grow up and be successful, tney don't dare express their emotions- a lot of it is self control. And I think that's how empathy is perhaps a bit of a threat for men, because that message is still very much out there." — Carol Vallone Mitchell, Ph.D Episode References: Amer Kaissi, The Empathy Edge podcast: Humbitious Leadership Equals SuccessDenise Roberson, The Empathy Edge podcast: Mistakes Leaders and Boards Make When Thinking About PurposeAbout Carol Vallone Mitchell, Founding Principal, Talent Strategy Partners, Author Collaboration Code and Breaking Through "Bitch"Carol Vallone Mitchell, PH.D. has an instinct and a passion for understanding what makes people tick. Although we regularly listen to the Bible verses calling men to leadership, most of us men don't really know what that means. Furthermore, our culture is shoving the idea of "toxic masculinity" down our throat every chance it gets. Maybe the society (and the ruler behind it) is right to be afraid of masculine leadership. Maybe, when God gave men the job of leading, He also equipped us differently from women? Join me in this episode as I explore not only why "toxic masculinity" is so powerfully pushed, but also what men are called to do in response. The truth is that God did specifically challenge men to lead, and to lead in a powerful way. How we respond to this challenge is definitely one topic that we'll have to answer to Jesus directly on the day of our judgement. Paul does not derive women's role from the Fall, but he uses that event as further corroboration of God's intention. He points out that it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being quite deceived, fell into transgression. Then she gave to Adam and he ate. The order of creation was man and then woman. The order of sin was woman and then man. Paul gives these as reasons for men only in the overall teaching and leading roles of the church.

Paul sees in God's order of creation a teaching concerning the responsibility of man to be a leader in relationship to woman. God created man first, put him in the garden, gave him the responsibility over the garden and the moral pattern for life in the garden, and then created woman as his partner and assistant to help him carry that responsibility into action. In other words, when Paul teaches that men should bear the primary responsibility for governance and teaching in the church, he is basing it not on any culturally temporary situation at Ephesus but on something woven into the fabric of manhood and womanhood by virtue of our creation. Not on the basis of sin, but on the basis of how God wanted it to be before there was any sin — for the good of his people, both women and men.
