In this election process–no matter what happens in the next few weeks–our battle is not between political parties. It's the epic spiritual battle of good versus evil, truth versus lies. Many people think we shouldn't talk about religion and politics. But one of the most essential rights we have as Americans is the right to free exercise of religion. In fact, it was so important to the founding fathers that they included it in the first sentence of the Bill of Rights. This has been a beacon of hope to those in other countries where people are persecuted for their religion. Yet, so many in our country want to take those rights away – claiming separation of church and state.Today, on the #FearlessPodcast I'm taking a look at the stories of people in the U.S. who have faced persecution and not backed down.
