Our awareness is rather tethered to the material plane. Our minds are captivated by countless thoughts, worries, anxieties, memories, impressions, and attachments. For there to be any hope for us to make spiritual progress during this lifetime, this time through, we must call upon a Hidden Power, and discover the Grace of the Divine, in order to catapult our consciousness right out of this universe into the vast Heavenly Realms Beyond. As it says in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene: "I left the world with the aid of Another World; a design was erased by virtue of a Higher Design. Henceforth I travel toward Repose, where time rests in the Eternity of Time; I go now into Silence." Meister Eckhart: "If the soul is to see God, then it must see no temporal thing, for as long as the soul is conscious of time or space, or of an idea, it cannot know God." Even as the Hubble Space Telescope had to be placed above the turbulence and distortion of earth's atmosphere in order to see clearly into the cosmos, so too the mystic needs to rise above body-consciousness and mind to know that Other Realm we also are part of as spiritual beings. The awareness or attention of the soul (surat) must become untethered and free from the temporal world of the five senses, mental images and memories during meditation practice in order to experience that Other Realm of Spirit that we inhabit. Not many are willing to look through this particular "lens" of the Third or Single Eye and see for themselves, taking the time to do this and enter into the silence and stillness beyond the physical, dream, and mental states and, "Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

As a nurse she spent over 25 years caring for others in all walks of life. She has been a counselor for battered women, a health coordinator for homeless teen girls and their babies and coordinator for a citywide HIV program. In addition she has been a divorce and family mediator and coordinated a successful middle school mediation program. But today, our guest is here to help reduce the stigma surrounding depression.  She is a living example that you too can have freedom from depression. In 1991 she awoke in a hospital emergency room. She had overdosed on prescription and over the counter medications. At that moment she came to the realization that she had been living with depression. Her book, Depression Free: A Wise Woman’s Guide to Healing and Happiness shares her experience with depression and more importantly, the tools she used to win the battle and reclaim her life without medication. This is our first year anniversary for the Higher Design for Living Internet Radio Broadcast.  The broadcast for today is In celebration of this ministry and God's grace for allowing us to speak into your lives for a whole year, of which we are very grateful.  Our focus scripture for this ministry is Revelation 4:1  After this I looked, and, behold, a doorwas opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a (sounded like) trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew/reveal thee things which must be hereafter. The word ‘revelation’ means that which God now shows. No person could know these things unless God showed them. God gave this *revelation to Jesus Christ and Jesus wants to impart them to us just as He did John on the Isle of Patmos. Many of the things that were revealed during this time that it was said must happen soon are still in the future. The word ‘soon’ can mean quickly or without delay. When the time comes, these things will happen. There is much that the Lord wants to reveal to us by the Holy Spirit, but we must draw closer to Him for that to happen.  So, come on up, come closer to receive revelation of what must come.

See things from God's perspective. God has designed a life for you and me from a higher (heavenly) view, where there need be no lack, no want, and no desire unmet.
