A curse on an entire family

Have you heard of the demon goddess, LILITH? Jewish mysticism believed it was a tale of Adam and Eve, but it's not. Lilith is mentioned in the Bible, and the deity has connections with early views on sorcery, witchcraft, magic, vampires, pregnancy, sexual dreams, and even feminism. Lilith is after God's chosen ones! Especially those in the womb. Melia has been battling this territorial demon since childhood, but the Lord intervened! Through Melia's dreams, the Holy Spirit finally revealed this territorial spirit over the family bloodline. God was showing Melia, a chosen prophetic vessel, for a specific assignment to become "The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in" (See Isaiah 58:12). Is God showing you, too? Are Jews today guilty of the crucifiction of Jesus? Are White people guilty of slavery hundreds of years ago? Are today's generations owed reparations for things that happened before they were born? Let's see what God's word has to say.

Curse or Schema? Either way, in this episode I'm talking about overcoming inherited traumas. What is a generational curse? And are you plagued with it? We look closley at the negative behavior patterns passed down through families. These patterns, often referred to as 'isms' such as alcoholism, gambling, abuse, and mental illness, can have severe impacts on various life aspects including health, relationships, and finances. Let's look at generational curses through the lens of modern psychology. Are what we refer to as ‘curses' really DNA-encoded or learned behavior patterns known as schemas? This episode highlights the difficulties and immense effort required to break these curses or cycles, particularly for those in toxic environments. We look at the role that self-awareness plays in emotional resilience, and setting boundaries. The discussion also covers the specific schemas developed by family members of narcissists and also those of narcissists themselves. Ways of overcoming these deeply ingrained patterns are explored in our efforts to break the ‘generaltional curse'. 00:00 Introduction to Generational Curses 00:24 Understanding Isms and Their Impact 01:22 Modern Psychology's Take on Generational Curses 01:53 The Role of DNA and Learned Experiences 02:35 Schemas: The Building Blocks of Behavior 06:08 Breaking Free from Generational Curses 06:35 Narcissism and Its Schemas 09:33 The Black Sheep's Role in Breaking Curses 14:00 Subjugation Schema in Narcissistic Families 23:33 Emotional Inhibition Schema 28:21 Steps to Break the Cycle 35:14 Challenges in Breaking the Curse 37:46 Embracing Self-Compassion and Self-Care 40:05 Understanding Narcissistic Dynamics 42:14 The Role of the Black Sheep 44:02 Schemas and Their Impact 47:08 Subjugation Schema Explained 51:40 Mistrust Schema and Its Effects 57:37 Emotional Inhibition Schema 01:02:35 Breaking the Cycle of Generational Curses 35:14 Challenges and Resistance
Slam the Gavel welcomes back Julie Andrews to the podcast. Julie was last on Season 5, Episode 134 in July 12th, 2024, where we talked about knowing the signs of alienation before it's too late. Today we talked about why and how judges, Guardian ad Litems and other third party parasites aren't held accountable. If law enforcement, physicians and nurses have to be drug tested, then shouldn't judges? Julie talked about her experience with Judge David Paris in the Family Court Arena and his bias toward her. She also talked about GAL, Attorney Jessica Braun who never interviewed her and even medically diagnosed Julie. However, the GAL doesn't have a medical license, nor practices in medicine. The foster parents involved were never given background checks and routinely used her daughter to baby-sit other kids in the house so the foster parents could take lavish vacations on the Title IV-E funding. "There has to be accountability and consequences for their actions," Julie stated. Julie belongs to a non-profit organization: Advocates For the Falsely Accused. It's not been my own strength that's gotten me through. It's because of him.”Kelly studied Elementary Education and now works as a dyslexia tutor. She enjoys being a mother to her three children and working as the baptism coordinator in church. Her parents divorced when she was a child. Her father struggled with alcoholism and her mother's role as a single parent had a big impact on Kelly's upbringing.Alcoholism is a generational curse her family has struggled with. However, Kelly is determined to end the cycle of divorce and alcoholism in her own family. From a young age, her mother brought her to Church and taught her about belief in Jesus. She fondly recalls her own baptism when she was just 5 years old. While Kelly has always believed in Jesus, there were times when she rebelled as a young adult.[07:02] Finding God and Grace Amidst IllnessKendall, one of Kelly's children, has a heart defect and lung issues since birth. She has undergone extensive testing, multiple surgeries, and procedures to treat her condition.During this time, Kelly felt emotionally and spiritually exhausted, finding it hard to pray and find God during the worst of Kendall's illness. The turning point came when she heard the Holy Spirit's call to find grace even amidst her child's suffering. [17:08] Kelly: “I realized fully that our children are not our own. They're loaned to us. They're God's children and He is her Father, and He knows what's best for her.”She drew strength from 2 Corinthians 12:9 and found herself trusting God more. She found comfort in surrendering to God's plan.As her family faced these challenges, Kelly and Kyle struggled with the strain it put on their marriage. Despite this, her husband remained a calming presence amidst the crisis.[22:46] Medical Challenges and Miraculous RecoveriesKendell continued to undergo multiple treatments and surgeries. With time, prayer, and community support, Kendall greatly improved and was on the road to recovery.Unfortunately, Cade, her son, was also diagnosed with epilepsy causing frequent and severe seizures. At first, Kelly relied on natural remedies and essential oils. However, she realized her reliance on natural medicine was a barrier to her faith. Kelly decided to seek God first and shift her approach to health and healing to focus on prayer and God's guidance.[35:39] Overcoming Spiritual Attacks with JesusKelly shares her terrifying experiences with sleep paralysis during the day. She was paralyzed and helpless against the attacks against her. With the help of prayer, she realized that these experiences were spiritual attacks by demonic forces.Kelly turned to prayer and deliverance through Jesus to strengthen her. By saying the Lord's Prayer, she was able to regain control of her body. This terrifying experience strengthened her faith in Jesus.[43:19] Becoming God's Sober ServantKelly quit drinking alcohol in August with the help of God's calling. It was a difficult journey, and she struggled with the transition to giving up alcohol due to expectations. After quitting, Kelly found positive changes in her marriage and family. She experienced a newfound sense of peace within her after times of crisis and chaos. She started new habits and routines that brought stability and joy into her life. It's important to live in obedience to experience the peace that God offers us.[48:03] A Deeper Journey of Healing and FaithKelly found healing through the Bible and being a part of a church community. She also decided to seek help through therapy. As she experiences healing, Kelly and Reagan discuss the importance of addressing past trauma and emotional wounds. If you're facing a similar struggle and seek peace and healing, trust God. Even during difficult times, it's important to obey Him.Read the Bible and stay grounded in your faith. Experience the joy and peace that come from a deep relationship with God. [55:06] Kelly: “On the other side of that obedience is the fruit and the gift of peace, the peace that passes understanding. So sometimes you just have to do the hard thing and trust him even when you can't see.”About Kelly KingKelly King is a devoted wife, mother of three, and passionate follower of Jesus Christ. With a background in Elementary Education, she works as a tutor for the dyslexic. Kelly has found strength, peace, and faith in God amidst the challenges her family has faced. There are those who teach generational curses. I don't find this a biblical truth rather Jesus paid for all the sin of mankind. And a child is not cursed because of their parents wickedness.
This week we've reached the #1-most-popular episode from 2023.Drum roll... Many of us grew up with a mixed bag of experiences that hurt a whole lot. And while our upbringing certainly shaped our lives, it doesn't define us.Only God defines us. (Please read that again.) This episode of Live the Bible takes us to 2 Kings 22 and shows us how Josiah walked with God in spite of his terrible upbringing. We also see how we can break free from our generational curse and allow the Lord to make us into who He wants us to be. Hello! I am back speaking about breaking generational curses that comes from my own personal story from the death of my dad which exposed more 'curses' in the generational line. Generational curses are basically programs of energy that have been passed on through the generations that until someone in the generational line takes on the 'curse' to stop it then it keeps moving through each generation. I came into the world with my specific family to be the one to stop the depth of some of the most panful generational curses that came from the lineage. The death of my dad took me on a deeper journey to see what 'curses' I was actually clearing and how this led to me exposing the hidden family secrets which banished me from my own family. I speak about having to go up against the one parent, my mom, in order to face some of the most vile betrayal from my own mother when it came to the death of my dad. Join me now as I share a deeply intimate part of my story with you as I hope that you will gain some wisdoms that will help you along your journey. Shelby Official Website
Slam the Gavel welcomes back Ryan Kolar to the podcast. Ryan was last on Season 4, Episode 143. Ryan went in depth about the updates to his case and also explained that this is a systemic corruption issue. Judges have full discretion. Ryan's judge is Judge Karen Bowes. She does't have to honor his civil rights. The "Family Court, is programming the next generation for their REVENUE," Ryan states. Ryan wanted to understand WHY, but there is no WHY. It was EXTORTION in order to get money out of BOTH parents. The abusive one will defend their reputation with money. The protective parent will fight to death for their children with money. It explains WHY that lawyers and judges CHOOSE to do this to children. There is nothing in the human soul that would make them want to let little children to get molested or worse. We discussed Title IV-D funding and how this contributes and compounds the problem within the 'family court.' “It is so important to connect to God to learn the right information from the wrong because we can pass down so much wrong information from the books, from the knowledge, from probably people who control the history." — Mirsada MemicOur environment, upbringing, culture, and practices contribute to "seemingly normal" things that often lead us to depression, anxiety, and stress. Most of us fail to resist and have no choice but to succumb to them. These negativities had inevitably passed on from generation to generation, trapping us in the spell of a "generational curse." But is it possible to break that curse?Mirsada Memic, a spiritual coach and an event speaker, teaches people to love themselves and enjoy their life journey. On this week's PoM podcast, I sat down with Clint Hayter and Jerry Mull for a Roundtable discussion on how to begin to break the generational curse of sin. This was a topic that was requested from a podcast listener a while back and thought we would begin to try and unpack it. If you have something you would like to see discussed on the podcast, send an email to pursuemanliness@gmail.com and we will look into having a conversation about it. The Morning Prayer to Block all Generational Curses
William is a great dad. But he fears losing his marriage and the three children he dearly loves. He desperately wants to give his kids a different life than he suffered through. As a small child, his mother would storm out of the house because he didn't clean his room. He was afraid of talking to his drug-addicted father for fear of saying the wrong thing. Sven knows the effect of such horribly damaging messages on a child. William has some serious healing to do, and Sven's unvarnished truths help William to understand his past and guide him to a better life. Explicit content.
