Welcome back, we are so happy you are here. ❤️ Blackie and Don spend some time talking and then Blackie has her first real meal since she left Mrs. Thompson. It was so good and she ate a lot, Don was happy to share. After several days of good food, good sleep, and good company Blackie decides it is finally time to go home. Don asks her how she is going to find her way and she says she is not sure but says "I'm already lost, I can't be more lost than I am now" and then goes on her way. Blackie’s adventure continues as she leaves Dido and Tum Tum at the circus. She sees herself in a brook and says she is all ruffled up and getting too thin so she decides to head home. Blackie is sad that she will not get to see Mrs. Thompson again but thinks Arthur and Mabel must be missing her terribly. She starts on her way home but several days later realizes she really is lost. Blackie decides to find a house to stay at for a short while until she gets rested and fed and then she will try to go home again. How can she know which house is safe? Thank you for joining us for our 100th episode! There was once a Goldfish who lived in the sea. He was very happy and loved swimming in the ocean. One day he met a ship who told him many things that he did not know. The Goldfish, after finding out that the Silver Fish he loved was indeed the Moon, sank to the bottom of the sea to cry. She runs through the town and as she tries to escape more and more boys are added to the group. Blackie finds a cellar to hide in until they are gone and then she heads out to the country in search of Mrs. Thompson’s home. She runs into another group of boys who want to catch her and she runs until she crawls into a tent and a large cage. What she finds inside the cage is not at all what she expected! Hello again! Rabbit and the Moon Man is a traditional Mi’kmaq legend about the time that Rabbit snared the moon. It is wintertime and Rabbit is checking his snares one day when he notices that someone seems to be stealing his food. He decides to sneak out and catch the thief but does have any luck catching them. Rabbit leaves his home earlier each night trying to catch the thief until one night he gets lucky and manages to snare the thief. It turns out to be the Man on the Moon. Rabbit throws snow and mud at the bright light to try and put it out but has no luck. Finally Rabbit and the Man on the Moon come to an agreement and Rabbit cuts him loose and he returns to the Moon never to come again. Thank you for listening. Sheryl & Clark ❤️
