Hey Fuller House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered S5E8: Five Dates With Kimmy Gibbler, which aired on December 6, 2019. In this episode Ramona introduces Rocki to Ethan and she suspects that they already know each other, Lisa Loeb turns up in DJ and Matt's veterinary clinic which draws Steph to get Lisa to listen to a song she wrote. This was a funny and cute episode. Love Steph's song and also Ethan and Rocki pretending that they don't know each other and they used to hang out. I also covered S5E11: Three Weddings and a Musical, which aired on June 2, 2020. In this episode while Steve babysits, DJ, Steph and Kimmy head to a wedding expo and wind up walking the runway. Jackson and Ramona audition for the school play. The wedding dresses were horrible looking (IMO), triple weddings/triple the drama, but I loved the plot with Jackson and Ramona and the musical, Jackson sounding like Josh Groban. Both episodes were adorable and sweet. I hope you enjoy them and have a great holiday!

Happy (Almost) Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta/Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the next episode in the Good Girls and Bad Boys Series, Full House S8E3: Making Out Is Hard To Do, which aired on October 11, 1994. In this episode Stephanie arrives at Gia's party to discover that the other kids have more advanced games in mind for the evening. I'll definitely say that of the all the "Bad Boys" in this Series, that Bobby is the worst. He pressures Stephanie to make out with him because he doesn't want to look uncool. Also Gia should of known Steph wouldn't want to go to a party like this. It wasn't even a party it was just a bunch of teens making out at the same time in the same room. Side plot of Danny losing his voice was funny and we got to meet Gia's Mom, who mentions to Danny that Steph has been a great influence on Gia, too bad we can't say the same about Gia being a good influence on Steph. Also another side plot Jesse has to deal with the news of his old band The Rippers and their new lead singer Barry Williams. Who become a world wide sensation overnight with their hit song "April Girls". Which I love. We also get a crazy dream of Jesse's where after failing in the music industry and his family basically writes him off and wants nothing to do with him. In this bizarre dream we see Jesse as an overweight auto mechanic with a scalp infection (he's balding) and to top it all off, he's married to Kimmy Gibbler who's dressed like Peg Bundy from FOX's Married With Children. What's more gross than this Becky and Joey kiss via a shared snack cake. I remember being so uncomfortable watching this as a teenager. Join me next week when I cover the last episode in the Good Girls and Bad Boys Series, and we meet Ryan (played by 90's heartthrob Andrew Keegan) Full House S8E22: All Stood Up, which aired on April 4, 1995. Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today I'm kicking off a new Series for MARCH, entitled Good Girls and Bad Boys, and the first bad boy I'm introducing you to is Pete from the band The Funky Tongues in S5E23: Fives A Crowd, which aired on March 21, 1985. In this episode Danny, Jesse and Joey search the drive-in for D.J., who is out with a boy who's never heard the word "No", while Kimmy Gibbler has been left to babysit Nicky and Alex, but it's Stephanie who ends up doing all the work. This was an enjoyable episode. We have DJ going out on what feels like her first date, I could be wrong though, apparently this band The Funky Tongues is the hottest band at Bayview High School according to DJ. Also Pete has a reputation of of being quite "hot stuff" at that school according to Kimmy, girls through themselves at him and he's never heard the word "No". Danny of course regrets agreeing to let DJ go out with Pete after hearing all this and makes it his mission along with Jesse and Joey, the "Dad Patrol" to go to the drive-in movie and rescue DJ. I can't believe he doesn't trust her judgement, but then again look who see went out with. My first impression of Pete gave me Mark from Roseanne vibes Mark being Becky's boyfriend. His first introduction he was real hard core. Pete on the other hand is just rude and smartmouths Danny, I wouldn't let him take out my daughter if I had one. Jesse having already met Pete when his band was recording a demo down in the studio doesn't think much of him either, saying "He's an animal, he's just like I was at 17." To which Danny replies "My baby". The side plot with the award show (which we never see) Becky takes Mr. Woodchuck (Joey's puppet) as her date. Kimmy babysitting the twins (more like standing back and letting Stephanie do all the work) I'd say Steph rightfully earned that $10, was cute to watch. Pete turns out to be a real jerk when he coerses DJ into going to the back of his van to make out while his earsplitting vocals can be heard around the drive-in. DJ finally tells him to back off and let's just watch the movie, he agrees and goes to get popcorn. After seeing the guys there in his van, he tells DJ, dates over so why don't we call it a night and you can go home with your Dad. To sum it up DJ and the guys set some dating ground rules, like no drive ins for a while and be honest about where you're going, if you're seeing a movie, make sure we know it's a drive in. Join me next week when I introduce you to the next bad boy, Bobby, in Full House S8E3: Making Out Is Hard To Do, which aired on October 11, 1994. Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the second episode in the Father's Day Series, Full House S6E10: I'm Not DJ, which aired on December 1, 1992. In this episode Stephanie wants to pierce her ears so she can wear real earrings like her friends, the two Jennifers. Danny forbids her from doing so until she begins junior high, just like D.J. Steph doesn't want to wait and is so desperate, she turns to Kimmy Gibbler for help, whose brother just happens to work in an earring shop. I enjoyed this episode. The two Jennifers got on my ever loving nerve, and I couldn't understand why Stephanie wanted so desperately to be accepted my them. I agree with Michelle when she looked at the two girls and came to the conclusion "They don't look cool" You're right Michelle, it's because they're not. They were putting down Stephanie's fashion (sunglasses) and her clip on earring, and because those girls thought her things were lame, Stephanie immediately rejects them, like oh if there not good enough for the Jennifers, then I want nothing more to do with them. The side plot with Jesse giving the boys haircuts due to again the two Jennifers wreak havoc on the Tanner house (they refer to Nicky and Alex as cute little girls). I swear I about lose my mind in anger at this. Dave Coulier in this episode has a duel role as Joey's Uncle Jasper the owner of Kiddie Kuts, the children's barber shop. Kimmy has no business using a piercing gun on Stephanie's ears without Danny's permission. Also I don't think she sterilized or disinfected the piercing gun needle before hand either, who knows what body part was last pierced with that thing. No wonder Steph's ears get infected. Gross! Join me next week for the last episode in the Father's Day Series, Full House S7E7: High Anxiety, which aired on October 26, 1993. In this episode Michelle wants Danny to stop treating her like a baby. Jesse can't make decisions about the renovation of his club. I hope you enjoy the Podcast Episode and have a good weekend! Happy Friday Full House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today I covered in honor of The Olsen Twins Birthday on June 17, Full House S4E17: A Fish Called Martin, which aired on February 1, 1991. In this episode Michelle gets a hard lesson in proper fish care when she gives her new goldfish, Martin, an actual bubble bath and things go belly-up. Meanwhile, Becky teaches the gang to square dance. I enjoyed this episode. Michelle learned a valuable lesson when it comes to caring for a fish and DJ learned to not lower her standards to impression a boy that only cares about one thing... cars. Jesse also learned a lesson, sometimes it's best to compromise instead of argue. Your soon to be wife has family traditions that you may not be into or you think is old fashioned and out of style, but in the ends the future bride gets what she wants. The square dance was so much fun to watch as the family gets into it even though Jesse is being a royal stick in the mud, but by the end he has a smile on his face. The guys also have to explain death to Michelle when it comes to poor Martin the fish, who Michelle according to Joey saying fish like to be clean like people, she gives Martin a bath and the poor fish passes away. Fishes and bubble baths don't mix. This is a hard lesson for Michelle as she learns her actions led to her fish's death and she is beyond scared to get too close to the new fish the guys run out and buy including 10 back up fish in a cabinet on stand by in case the new one expires in 24 hours.
