In a world filled with noise, deadlines, and complexity, Jesus calls us back to simplicity. Join Pastor Landon Churchill as we open to Luke 18:15-17 to uncover the profound necessity of "Childlike Faith." In this message, we explore two vital truths: the personal call to trust God with the open-handed dependence of a child, and the corporate call for the church to prioritize the next generation. Whether you are feeling spiritually exhausted and need to relearn how to "receive" rather than "achieve," or you are looking for a vision for discipleship, this message is for you. What if the church was truly a place where anyone could come — and everyone could become? In Come and Become, Pastor CJ Ward teaches through Acts 9 and the story of Saul's conversion to show how grace always comes before change. Saul didn't clean himself up before meeting Jesus. He encountered Jesus first — and transformation followed. This message explores: Why no one comes to Jesus prepared How grace precedes transformation What it means to be a “come as you are” church How God sees who we are and who we can become Why the Church needs people before they change If Saul can come to Jesus, anyone can. And if anyone can come, anyone can become. In the aftermath of the May 16 tornado in St. Louis, social media feeds have been filled with photos of the devastation, lists of ways people can help, and pleas for folks to protect any bricks that may have fallen off their homes and businesses: “Don't let them come and take your bricks.” And for good reason — a pallet of bricks sells for about $270. But the bricks aren't just financially valuable: They symbolize a bond of people to place. In this episode, we talk about the ongoing work to help residents affected by the tornado and the effort to safeguard people's bricks from those looking to capitalize on the tragedy.
Taking a break from John's gospel, this week Pastor Mike explored the radical and open invitation Jesus offers us. Recognising that Jesus welcomes all.

Jesus' disciples are constantly trying to limit who he can talk to and be around. Yet every time, Jesus shatters their illusions of who is in and who is out to create a spiritual community where everyone is welcome. As we continue our "Love Leads" sermon series, Pastor Jacob explores how trying to live out God's calling to be a place where everyone is truly welcome is the heart of our church and faith.

église AB Lausanne ; KJV Isaiah 41 Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment. Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow. He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet. Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he. The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came. They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage. So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved. But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. ...

A reference in the Parisian house and garage scene and a great vinyl collector, Greg Gauthier helped establish this style in France with the essential CHEERS parties and radio shows (from 1990 to 2010) which will be portrayed in the film Eden. His sets range from disco to funk to New York garage to Chicago house. Since 2004, he has been the resident DJ of the famous "Dance Culture" at the Djoon, an innovative party with a unique vibe! The evening brings together the best house dancers in the world with a more afro house, jazz and soulful musical colouring while offering a musical subtlety rare in Parisian clubbing. His long discography is impossible to summarize but he is by example the author of the famous classic House : Dan Electro "Let Them Come".

In 2006, Kalen joined Korn on tour, primarily on backing vocals, and can be heard and seen in the MTV Unplugged: Korn release in 2007 where he was featured playing an exotic array of instruments. He remained with Korn – often seen as The White Rabbit – until 2008. While working with Korn, Kalen fronted the band The Changing, where he collaborated again with Jonathan Davis on single Jerry Bruckheimer. His career in metal would continue as the lead vocalist for the band Superfix, before joining forces with Joey Jordison (formerly of Slipknot) as the lead vocalist for Vimic in 2016. Kalen has worked extensively in the studio providing backing vocals for artists including 10 Years, Pop Evil, Dragonforce and singing on the Lego Batman movie soundtrack. Now, Kalen Chase has embarked on a new path, building upon his singer-songwriter roots, hard rock persona, and production experience to create a sound of his own. His contagious energy and stage presence captivates the room. His percussive delivery and sweet but cynical lyrics naturally draw an audience to join in harmony. Kalen recently relocated to Nashville from Los Angeles. In LA, he recorded Good Things, featuring Brian Viglione of The Dresden Dolls on drums at the iconic El Dorado Recording Studios. You can educate people all you want, but nothing comes close to letting them come to their own conclusions. Your job as a writer is to connect facts, ideas, and stories for readers to make their own minds. You can try to force a perspective down their throat, but you likely won't succeed. Your job is simpler than that. Connect the right information in the right order with the right transitions, and the truth will become obvious. It will shine. It will glow. You'll be rewarded as a thought leader. Visit www.triviumwriting.com to learn more about writing, read our blog, and grab our resources. Get your copy of Write a Book That Matters today.

The Gospel According to Mark • September 20th, 2020 The Kingdom of God and its in-breaking reality is at the center of Jesus' life and ministry. If “Kingdom of God” is fuzzy "christian-ese," think about the Kingdom of God as the place where God's will is done completely 24/7 365; the place where peace and justice reign. And the center of this reality are children, the lowly. The Kingdom of God, according to Jesus, belongs to the vulnerable and the voiceless. Jesus' indignation comes because his disciples are misrepresenting the heart of the Kingdom. This teaching explores the implications of Jesus' life as he orients himself to & toward the vulnerable.
There is a deleted scene in the Aliens film that has the marines fix a motion detector to a mini-gun that proceeds to lay waste to anything that moves. Let Them Come is essentially that scene with the player taking control of a large machine gun as they fight off wave after wave of aliens as they crawl from the right hand side of the screen. In this episode of The Sausage Factory, Chris talks to developers Tuatara Games about Let Them Come's development. http://media.blubrry.com/caneandrinse/caneandrinse.com/sausage/TSF_Episode171.mp3
On today's show, Marc starts off discussing a film about a little ghost story titled, A Ghost Story, and follows that up with a bit of random chatter about Twin Peaks, but nowhere near as random as Twin Peaks can get. After that, Marc talks about a handful of indie games, including Jydge, Time Recoil, Samurai Riot, and Let Them Come. Anyway, something-something ghostly and judgy, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly spooky) show.
