Max and Dave continue their conversation about whether Mike Norvell inherited a dumpster fire, and assuming he did, whether Norvell has done enough relative to other coaches nationally who took over their teams at the same time. Dave isn't so sure Norvell truly inherited a dumpster fire; but Max and Dave agree that, while Norvell has corrected the culture and has things headed in a better direction, he's woefully underperformed nevertheless. Max and Dave also talk about the tricky QB recruiting situation and debate whether it would be better to shut down QB recruiting if it meant keeping Chris Parson, or to target multiple QBs and elevate the depth of the QB room. Finally, the guys discuss the rumor that Texas A&M is trying to poach FSU Softball Head Coach Lonni Alameda, and question whether FSU must do whatever necessary to hang onto Alameda, notwithstanding the athletic department's renewed commitment to football.
