Brian Murray is my guest for this week's episode, and I'm happy to report that I've finally achieved my dream of interviewing a Dog. Brian, of course, plays guitar for fast-rising jam band Dogs in a Pile — which has been killing it out there this year. Brian sat down to chat with me during a break in their current Fall Tour, and we get into it all, from his regular treks as a kid to Madison Square Garden to feed his passion for live music, to meeting his future bandmates at Berklee College of Music. Brian talked to me in his deliberate and thoughtful manner about what this all means to him, his development as a musician and a human, and how his family supported and inspired his love for all things musical. it's an inspiring and touching conversation with this future jam band icon. For more information on Roadcase: https://linktr.ee/roadcasepod and https://www.roadcasepod.comOr contact Roadcase by email: info@roadcasepod.comRoadcase theme music: "Eugene (Instrumental)" by Waltzer

Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producers Association Executive Director Theresa Baroun is finalizing details for their annual fall tour that will bring consumers to Northwest Wisconsin for an agricultural experience. My guests on today's episode were AJ and JJ Fountain, bandmates with locally-famous campfire folk music band A Brothers Fountain, and co-founders and partners of Stoked Ember Productions. This was the brothers' 2nd time on the podcast, because I think they're a lot of fun to be around, and they always share great stories! The brothers and most of the band went on a 20-day, 18-show tour this fall, all across the midwest and southeast and points between. Followed shortly after that was a weeklong intensive recording session in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where they laid down their finest sounds so far - stay tuned for more on that! In this episode, JJ shares an awesome story about going viral on the Jerry of the Day Instagram channel via a kayak on a ski slope! Always fun to spend time with these two, so I hope you'll tune in for my conversation with AJ and JJ Fountain. Episode Sponsor: InMotion, providing next-day delivery for local businesses.
