On December 15th, 2022, 11 year old Madalina Cojocari was reported missing in Cornelius, North Carolina. Her mother, Diana Cojocari, initially told the police that she last saw her daughter on the night of November 23rd. However, investigators soon discovered that nobody outside the family had seen Madalina after November 21st. This discrepancy raised suspicions, especially as it became apparent that Diana, along with her husband, Christopher Palmiter, were withholding crucial information, impeding the progress of the investigation. The Stepfather of missing girl Madalina Cojocari, Christopher Palmiter was found guilty by a Judge in North Carolina after failing to report that she had gone missing.Palmiter says that he thinks that Madalina was whisked away by her mother to relatives in Moldova, however, there is zero evidence of that taking place. While Palmiter was found guilty of these charges, the penalty amounts to a slap on the wrist for what he is truly suspected of, however, with no proof, the authorities are remaining quiet when it comes to what evidence they have or don't have.In this episode, we take a look at the guilty verdict handed down to Palmiter, and where things stand when it comes to Madalina.(commercial at 8:31)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Madalina Cojocari's stepfather reveals where he thinks the missing 11-year-old girl is after he was found guilty for not reporting her disappearance for weeks: 'She's not going to be found' | Daily Mail Online
Madalina Cojocari, a 13-year-old girl, has been missing since November 21, 2022, when she was last seen getting off her school bus in Cornelius, North Carolina. Her disappearance was not reported until December 15, 2022, by her mother, Diana Cojocari, after school officials inquired about her extended absence.Recently, Diana Cojocari pleaded guilty to failing to report her daughter's disappearance. Timothy Haslett Jr. from Kansas City is facing new charges, adding to the already serious accusations against him. Initially, Haslett was arrested in October 2022 for allegedly kidnapping, raping, and holding a 22-year-old woman captive in his basement for over a month. The woman, identified as T.J. in police reports, managed to escape and seek help from a nearby residence.Recently, a grand jury has brought additional charges against Haslett, including first-degree rape, second-degree assault, and first-degree kidnapping. The new charges come after further investigation revealed more evidence of his alleged crimes. Additionally, Haslett is accused of sodomy and endangering the welfare of a child, as more details about his conduct emerged during the investigation. Complicating the case, a potential witness, Jaynie Crosdale, was found dead earlier this year. Authorities had been seeking her in connection to the case against Haslett. This is a re-release of our April 2023 episode on Madalina Cojocari. You can listen to our June 2024 update here.Imagine the abject fear a parent would experience after their 11-year-old child has been missing for over three weeks. No one has heard from her, no one has seen her. You'd be climbing the walls, right? Begging investigators and the public to help you find her? That's what usually happens, but not in the case of Madalina Cojocari. Madalina went to school as normal on November 21, 2022, but she didn't show up the next day. Or the day after that. Eventually, on December 12, a school resource officer from Bailey Middle School attempted a home visit and left a truancy packet. It wouldn't be until December 15, over three weeks since her daughter was last seen, that her mother, Diana Cojocari admitted to school officials that she didn't know where her daughter was. The Cornelius, North Carolina community has been frantically trying to find the missing little girl, while her parents sit in jail. Months have gone by, but no one is answering the question: where is Madalina Cojocari?Anyone with information about Madalina Cojocari is asked to call the Cornelius Police Department at 704-892-7773, or the FBI at 1-800-Call FBI.Cualquier persona que tenga información sobre Madalina Cojocari debe llamar al Departamento de Policía de Cornelius al 704-892-7773, o al FBI al 1-800-Call FBI.Buy the ebook! - And Then They Were Gone: True Stories of Those Who Went Missing and Never Came HomeSubmit a caseFind us everywhereGet episodes early and ad-free on PatreonMerch storeFor a full list of our sources, please visit our blogBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/and-then-they-were-gone--5360779/support.

On December 15th, 2022, Madalina Cojocari, a beloved 11-year-old, was reported missing in Cornelius, North Carolina. Now, a year and a half later, Madalina remains missing, and investigators are still searching for her… The last official sighting of Madalina Cojocari was on November 21, 2022, when she was seen getting off the school bus near her house, located at 18413 Victoria Bay Drive in Cornelius, North Carolina. Madalina is white, with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she weighed 90 pounds and stood at 4'10”. She was last seen wearing jeans, pink, purple and white Adidas shoes, and a white t-shirt and jacket. If you have any information concerning the whereabouts of Madalina Cojocari, please contact the Cornelius Police Department at (704) 892-7773. The lead investigator working the Madalina Cojocari case has given us some hope that the missing girl will be found safe. As the one year mark passes in the case of missing North Carolina girl Madalina Cojocari, the community where she once lived has come together to show support for the missing girl and to demand that she found. The heartbreaking ordeal started last year when Madalina wasn't reported missing by her parents for over three weeks. That set off a gigantic search for Madalina, but unfortunately, it turned up cold. Now, the authorities are saying that they are not giving up and they plan on finding Madalina no matter how long it takes. Her mother is in jail still while her Stepfather has already been released. TIMESTAMPS Madalina Cojocari (7:35) Every 40 seconds, a child goes missing or is abducted in the United States. Approximately 840,000 people are reported missing each year and the F.B.I. estimates that between 85 and 90 percent of these are children. In this episode of the True Crime Society Podcast, we discuss the separate cases of Madalina Cojocari and Charlotte Sena. Madalina Cojocari was 11 years old when she was last seen getting off the school bus in North Carolina on November 21, 2022. Madalina did not attend school after that date. By mid December, school officials were concerned and asked to meet with Madalina and her parents. Madalina's mother Diana showed up to the school on December 15 and confessed that she did not know where her daughter was. The FBI became involved quickly. Madalina's case is strange and confusing. Both her mother and step-father have been arrested and charged with failing to report the disappearance of a child. As of October 2023, Madalina remains missing. Charlotte Sena (9) was camping with her family in a state park in New York on September 30, 2023. She told her cousins that she was going for a quick bike ride before returning to their campsite. Her family became alarmed very quickly when she did not return, and they found her bike abandoned nearby. A few days later, on October 2, a man named Craig Ross Jr delivered a ransom note to the Sena home. It is believed he forced Charlotte to write the note, and in it, he demanded $50,000 for her safe return. Police moved quickly and tracked him down hours later. Charlotte was found alive, hidden in a cupboard in his grimy trailer. Read our blogs for these cases: Madalina Cojocari & Charlotte Sena We are now on Patreon! Thank you for your support. Last year, in December 2022, I posted a minisode about missing 11-year-old, Madalina Cojocari. At that time, she'd been missing for less than two weeks. We didn't know a lot about her case, mainly that Madalina was reported missing weeks after she was last seen. Which is never a great situation. You might know Madalina's case from the last known security footage of her getting off her school bus on November 21, 2022. Video footage like this is so valuable. But in Madalina's case, they were already behind. This video is the last we know about Madalina's whereabouts, but she wasn't reported missing until weeks later on December 15th. So, by the time investigators began working the case, they were already way behind. It's now been over 100 days since Madalina was last seen, so I wanted to bring us back to her case to hopefully raise more awareness and talk about some major updates, including a trip her mother made to a very remote area just after Madalina was last seen. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Cornelius Police Department at 704-892-7773.
